Brandon “Bizzy” Hollemon, also known as Bizzythowed, is a seasoned, Grammy-nominated guitarist, producer, and songwriter who’s been shaping music for over two decades. His journey began with rhythm exercises in second grade, sparking a passion that led him to Berklee College of Music at just 18. Now 43, Bizzy has developed a signature style that merges his virtuosic guitar skills with a diverse, world-class musical background, working with prominent artists like Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, Fabolous, The Weeknd, and more recently, contributing to Kehlani’s hit "Nights Like This."

A Houston native, Bizzy’s early exposure to rock, hip-hop, and funk set the foundation for a career that seamlessly bridges genres. As a teenager, he took up guitar to channel his energy after losing his father, and that focus fueled his drive to succeed. Despite being accepted into a top arts high school, Bizzy blazed his own trail, landing a spot at Berklee and later refining his skills in audio engineering in Miami.

Known for his eclectic musical influence and technical prowess, Bizzy shines on projects like The Weeknd’s Kiss Land, where his contributions brought a new depth, praised as “mournful, pungent, [and] unnerving” by The New York Times. Now, Bizzy is returning to his solo roots with his reformed project, BIZZYTHOWED, which channels his experiences and distinct artistry into a dynamic new phase.
