Age of Embers

From the depths of winter's cold, AGE OF EMBERS has burst onto the Connecticut metal scene and are spreading their sound across the state. A fiery mix of power, progressive, and symphonic inspired metal, their music showcases a desire to not only revive the epic melodies and instrumental prowess of yesteryear's influences but also to create a fresh perspective on the metal of New England. Their enthralling originals and solid covers are proven captivators of the iron listener.

Formed in Woodbridge in January of 2016, the new group is led by compelling frontwoman Katrina Riberio, who uses her classical training and love of 80's rock to project a gripping performance. She is backed by power metal veterans Michael Cavadini, Charles Woodruff, William Woodruff, and Andrew Stachelek, who have shared the stage with notable acts such as Sonata Arctica, Fate's Warning, and Symphony X. Together, the five have begun what is soon to be a conflagration of strident riffs and anthemic choruses, both of which have already enraptured audiences from around New England.
