West Hampstead Arts Club

It was a pleasure and a privilege to be present at SBT's performance in the relaxed and intimate setting of the West Hampstead Arts Club last Friday. SBT's warmth and professionalism filled the room as she shared her beautifully crafted work, supported by Luther Russell whose exquisite precision on acoustic guitar perfectly framed each song. Prior to SBT taking the stage, we were treated to a selection of songs from Mr. Russell's new album, an unexpected delight for me personally as it's my favourite release so far this year. I haven't heard SBT 's live album yet as I had hoped to purchase one from the artist after the performance, but the queue of fans wanting to meet her was too long for me to wait in. And that, in my opinion, speaks volumes about what the rest of her audience felt about our shared experience.

Excellent show from a trio of gifted musicians and singers in a dark and crowded wine bar back room. Folk at it's best.

Brilliant gig Joseph is a tour de force and his live sound is amazing both vocally and instrumentally. West Hampstead Arts is such a friendly unique small venue that deserves to be supported. Having Peter Gabriel and his daughter adding vocals on the night was pure icing on the cake. Thank you Joseph for such a night of passionate music, I hope to see you again in the future ......Bob Jury

Fantastic performance by a great musician in a very intimate and personal venue. The room was filled with Sean's moving guitar, vocals and harmonica playing. Not only did Sean play his own songs but he slipped in a couple of covers such as Hurt recorded by Johnny Cash (written by Nine Inch Nails) and Pancho and Leftie, recorded by Willie Nelson and others (written by John Townes Van Zandt). Of course, Sean delivered a tremendous version of "To Leave Something Behind" (which featured in the excellent Ben Affleck film 'The Accountant'). All in all, a wonderful evening in a special venue.

A masterclass performance in a great little venue. An absolute privilege to finally see Sean.
