Max and his band were so entertaining! Amazing evening and such talented musicians. We loved deciding which songs to request and watching them prepare to play. We had a wonderful time and hope to see “a little more of you” again in the Chicago area soon. Thanks to Max & the band for a spectacular evening of music!
If you haven't had the pleasure of experiencing Hersteria, an all-female Def Leppard tribute band, in their debut concert, then you truly missed out. The band recently performed at the Vixen in McHenry, Illinois, delivering a sensational show that left the crowd buzzing with energy and excitement.
Nicole's masterful guitar skills were nothing short of impressive, effortlessly capturing the spirit of Def Leppard's iconic riffs while adding her own flair. Grace, the band's lead singer, gave an outstanding female interpretation of the band's classics, proving her vocal prowess and command over the stage. Together, they breathed new life into the songs we all know and love, making them feel both nostalgic and refreshingly dynamic.. We never saw Joe Elliott dressed as Marilyn. ;)
The crowd's energy was electric, feeding off the band's powerful presence and their dedication to putting on a phenomenal show. It was clear from the atmosphere in the room that Hersteria will develop a devoted following and an undeniable ability to win over new fans.
I can't wait to see them perform again!
Pino rocks the house, dudes! Get on the train and check out his gigs, you will NOT be disappointed!
Great concert venue. It was an hour drive one way for me but I will be back. Hope you bring more punk shows there. The Vixen staff and facilities are amazing. The bands all killed it. Had such a great time
Over all good show. The main act should get more than an hour to play. These guys have several albums to choose from and an hour just doesn’t cut it. I don’t come to see the open acts so give us more time with the group we are paying to see. Never giving up, we wanted to hear it. Just saying……
So amazing that the headlined in McHenry, IL and they did not disappoint. Sounded amazing. The Vixen was a fun venue.
The drummer had to retire from the show due to a migraine but the boys rolled on and gave us an outstanding acoustic set. True pros and always good to their fans.
The entire show was very good! I was impressed with the musicality of all the musicians and lead singer. They all seem to be young musical geniuses or seasoned musical professionals. The playlist was awesome, and the show was high energy! Everyone in the audience seemed to be having a great time and impressed with the show, as well. I would love to see this show again, it was that good! Highly recommend to anyone who loves great rock music!
I had an unforgettable time at the Alexandra Kay concert! I was so excited to meet her and enjoy the night. She and Tana were amazing. The staff at the Vixen were so nice. I absolutely love my shirt that she signed! I can't believe I was in the front row! I definitely will be seeing her next time she is in the Chicago! Forever an AK fan!
The only downfall was the waiting. The meet and greets started an hour late, the show started like 45 minutes late and there was a decent wait between Tana playing and Alexandra coming on stage. I understand that things run late but I would have liked someone to just come on the microphone and say she is running 30 minutes late so we could go to the restroom or get drinks.
Alexandra Kay has a voice that is sweet and makes you feel what she is singing about so awsome!!!
Afroman was great. A little to much signing autographs during the actual concert. But I guess that’s his thing.
I thought security at the venue was terrible. I saw them kick someone out during his last song, because the perfect tame gentleman was dancing to crazy rap and the security thought he bumped him to many times. I had it on video and helped him complain to the manager. I will not be attending another concert here.
Next time I will see him play in Lombard
The Protest opened up the night and set the bar for the other bands. They rocked the house and brought the energy. Can't recommend seeing them live enough.
I liked how the venue was more intimate than most and really allowed the audience to interact more with the band. I drove three hours to see the show and was not disappointed. Stryper rocked🤘🏻!!!
One of the best shows I've ever been to. The venue was changed from the original ticket location, but it ended up being a closer drive for me. The Vixen was clean, organized and well lit, it was divided into tiers. I was on the second tier and had a great view of the stage. Overall just a great show, 10/10 I'd go back to that venue and would 100% see Atreyu live again.
Due to the passing of Wayne, there was no show. But Saliva gets 5 stars anyway! RIP Wayne!
loved the guitar pick the singer handed to me! i'll display it on my wall forever :)
Awesome show! Brandon gives 150% the entire time. Such great songs! Have been following Brandon since TikTok days, so excited that his career is going places! Definitely go see him if he is in your area!
Great performance last night. You really sing with all your heart. Wishing you much success with your career.
