Greater Richmond Convention Center

Jeffrey Osborne was great and so full of energy. I loved every song . He made us part of the show and spoke to crowd as a family. This man need a full four hour show. We love this man, and hope he will come again.

Boney James has been one of my all time favorite smooth jazz musicians for many years. He was here exactly three years ago, in Richmond, (OK, April 8th 2018, and yesterday was April 9, 2022). He just nailed it. Fantastic personality, lots of fun. He was preceded by warm up, Cindy Bradley, who was fantastic and I need to follow her to see where else she's playing close by, but what a difference with Boney. He just takes the performance to such an incredibly high level, that it's easy to see why he's been around so long!! He played some songs from his new CD and the music is amazing. The one thing I was hoping for was a meet and greet after the show. He did that the last time he was here but I had to miss it. I was going to buy a CD, ask him to sign it, and hopefully take a picture, like I did with Russ Freeman and the Rippingtons when they were here, before the COVID lockdown. But, OMG Boney James music is so amazing! Oh, the venue was at the Richmond Convention Center. John Smith who brings so much great talent to Richmond did a great job having tables. I felt like I was in a jazz nightclub, in NYC!
