Korn absolutely killed it, incredible show. Gojira did a great job as well. Line into the venue was absolutely ridiculous, and parking was a nightmare. Ended up missing spiritbox (mostly our fault, if I'm being honest.) The way the venue is split doesn't really let the crowd get any kind of a pit going. I still had a great time but I probably won't be going back to pine knob again, the seating being in front of the standing area instead of off to the side just really kills the vibe for a good metal show.
Great concert and I love Pine Knob. Took my 17 year old grandson to see Alice Cooper for the first time and his first concert. It was my first concert in the 70's. I introduced him to Cooper's music and he loves it. He really enjoyed the whole show. Fixture was a great opening band, they rocked. Ministry was pretty good. Alice is the best as always. Have seen him many times. First time seeing Rob Zombie and he played my 3 favorite songs. Good show but didn't care for the flashy screens. Would have rather seen the band on the screens more. Overall it was an awesome night of great rock music. My grandson loved it all!
Breaking Benjamin has been on my bucket list for a really long time and the stars aligned so I could see them at Pine Knob on 9/11. I also opted for the "side stage" experience which, due to set configuration, became "on stage" experience. Wow! What a great perspective to experience the energy of the 12000 person crowd before the curtain dropped and through 3 songs. No wonder bands feed off the energy of the crowd - it is palpable! And the band members were so nice as they greeted us and acknowledged us in their space. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience that was well worth the money. The entire concert was great from the warm up bands - Lakeview (a band to watch!) and Daughtry (great performer and I seriously envy his abs!) - to Breaking Benjamin with their extensive catalogue of great songs to Staind with their long list of hits (shameful that I was surprised at how many I knew!). Overall a great evening. Also, I have to mention the staff at Pine Knob - they are always so courteous and helpful and very well organized.
My childhood dreams came true. In troubled times, sickness, and my anxiety, I only truly had Imagine Dragons. Their songs used to reach out to me like a friend who gets what I was going through. After all these years, what I am feeling after witnessing them sing for me live is hard to put in words. But it does make all the hardships worth it. All my love and more to them! 🫴🌎
The guys made magic in front of a packed house last night in Clarkston, Michigan. Joe handled Eddie’s brilliant melodies and riffs with class, Anthony sounded as if he just had his 30’th birthday, and Jason rounded out the percussion in true Bonham style. Sammy didn’t hold back at any point during the show, showing his true love of showmanship and Van Halen fans. After sharing rounds of shots with his band, and the crowd alike, they rounded out the show with 4 classics!
Such an electric amazing night. There was definitely a great vibe throughout the whole venue. Talk about concert magic. I have a new love for Lizzy Hale and Halestorm. What a great energetic, powerful and awesome performance. LIZZY Hit those notes, Hella. Fit for a king nailed it also. I've been listening to these guys for a long while. What a great progression and great lyrics. It's totally worth checking em out if ya haven't yet. Youth /division or the path is where I'd start.
HOLY CRAP I PREVAIL!!! What an amazing experience. I was completely all in and in awe. It was incredible. Gave my all when ya lit me up with Hurricane. My soul shook.Been here since the beginning, and I have always wanted to see your show. I had 2 opportunities in the past to see you and both of em FUBAR. What a way to get to experience your show,..PINE KNOB... YOUR HOME TOWN!!
And my sailor son was in town to rock out as his first pine knob show also.
Thank you for fulfilling a bucket list moment on such an incredible level. Keep making amazing tunes.
I had the best time ever at The Chicks show! Mostly women. Sitting on the hill on a beautiful summer day in Michigan. We made friends and sang to every song! It was the most fun I’ve had at a concert in a very long time.
I love The Chicks! You go girls!
Collective Soul opened this show but they kicked ass nonetheless! Their sound is amazing- clear and not too loud. Ed is the greatest, happiest frontman ever and he looks so dapper in his sparkly suit. He's the ultimate rock star and his voice is still very strong. The rest of the boys shed naturally on stage, effortlessly shocking the whole audience. They entertain like you wouln't believe. This was my 18th time seeing them and they have never truly disappointed. Only thing I didn't like was that they covered an AC/DC song instead of playing one of their own.
I LOVE HOZIER!!! Hearing him live was amazing his voice and his whole band was great! Definitely recommend seeing him live it’s like nothing else! It was at Pine Knob which was great, we got pavilion seats so we didn’t have to worry about having a bad spot the only thing that wasn’t so good was the fact that someone behind us threw up and it just barley touched the back of my legs, lol.
Amon Amarth was amazing. Ever since that show I've been looking into their music and it turns out I am now a official Viking. The show and set was so cool (especially the Dragan and the other fighters on stage). Ghost was incredible. I'm glad that Amon Amarth and Ghost decided to do that tour together. Ghost was the main artist I was there for but I guess now I'm a Ghestie and A Viking.
Alice cooper put on a Fantastic show!!! Seems to just get better each time i see him , which is everytime he comes to MI/Ohio.
Pine Knob was disappointing, the amount of smoking : including cigarette and marijuana was absolutely horrible. Staff did nothing to enforce the rules they have against smoking. People were just incredibly rude and blowing all the smoke in our faces and direction, even when asked to refrain from. Will not return to Pine knob but will always keep seeing Alice cooper
Absolutely the best concert I've ever been too! And I'm genX! Everyone was so nice. From the security at bag check to vendors and the crowd! Everyone was nice to each other! It felt amazing to feel welcomed and to feel the collective in harmony!
The show...from curtain drop to the final bow! Amazing! The stage setup was breathe taking!
The engery from the band was incredible! Aurora and Swiss are amazing vocals! And Mountain is right up thare with the best drumers in the business! From heavy bass lines and dueling guitars riffs!
I didn't want the show to end!
My Ghost cherry was popped! And thares no going back!
Until the next Ritual! 🖤💀🤘
I took my sista to this one... was at the 1st US "re-entry" at Grand Rapids June 16th - loved seeing & FEELING this show at Pine Knob as well! "This time", I was smart enuf to get tix closer so I could see our Boyz without just the big screen (Heh, heh, heh...)! Was in the Pavilion, seat I19&20, right by the stage, on the "Ryan-side" :-). I truly ADMIRE the men of this band. Chad is the heart of it all (I love how you engage your audience! Love your realism! ...do I even HAVE to say that I love "the voice"?!?), Mike is the solid, Daniel is the lovely (rockin'!!!) sticks-man (great vocals), & Ryan absolutely has my heart - clearly loves what he does - #&%$#$ ROCKS it (Burn It guitar licks, cool Mandolin), LOVED your "Worthy To Say" (Reverb mmm...); He is REAL - honors his wife & her charitable foundation, WOW!!! ...Gorgeous voice, easy on the eyes... WOW (yeah, 2 wows...) - just simply aren't many real men out there like that. Period. The concert was absolutely PHENOMINAL! Great light show too. I have a video of the crowd with their lights on during Photograph (BTW: love an acoustic in the mix!) - lit up like a Christmas Tree! LOVE you guyz! The only negative is that I don't have another concert of yours to look forward to now -- kept me energized for months, really!
What a show!!!. Everyone killed it that night. From Butcher Babies, to Nonpoint, Gwar was amazing, Coal Chamber was everything I had hoped for and despite all the rain it was an amazing show. Mudvayne was spot on all night. Chad spoke highly of Michigan and put on one hell of a show. They played way more songs than I anticipated and I am very greatful for it. A lot of the LD 5.0 album got played which I am so happy for. Hands down one of the best concerts I've been to at Pine Knob.
Terri nunn what a voice! She looked 40 instead of 65! The best of the 3 and they were all good. Howard jones was the first time I seen him live and he was great even added too shy from another group which fit right in
The culture club came out and sounded fresh as ever. The only thing is they have tons of original music they could have sang that instead they sang several others music why they did that I don’t know why. , His voice was fresh and talked to the audience a lot.
A definite worth see!
ALEXIS simply slayed the stage. My daughter (15) and I have wanted to see them forever!! They were so much better than we could have hoped for. Boiled Frogs and Familiar Drugs filled the air like a sonic rainbow. George, Dallas, Wade, and Chris gave it their all up there. Justin anchored it all down with thunderous drum fills. Just amazing…..really blown away guys…..thanks for doing what you do for the rest of us who feel like “otherness” in the crowd….
I first took my 2 oldest kids to see Big Time Rush at Pine Knob back in 2012 when they were 13 & 6. This time around, I took all 3 of my kids 24, 17 & 13, and I've got to say as expected the show was incrediblebut also new favorites from Another Life! Already looking forward to the next time they are in town!
Too much chatter and didn’t quite deliver on the vocals. He sounded out of breath from all of his jumping around. Great to see he still has moves and energy but personally I put the music above everything else. The stage banter was excessive. He repeated the same lines seemingly after every song like a broken record. Was worth it to see with night Ranger and Jefferson starship though.
Was amazing my daughter bought Me tickets for My 60 th birthday been a Year. I lost my man of 13 years . mom's Cancer and losing a job due to covid. I am a artist now reverse painting on farmhouse windows. Eric Church was My get shit done, cry heal, and fight my Way out of hell music. We went together and she's didn't know many of your songs and Left a huge fan it's was the best birthday gift ever
Macklemore was amazing! I can not wait for him to issue more vinyls!! I check his website everyday to see if he has new merch coming out, I am in awe of him and his music. He is very inspirational when it comes to being honest about one’s problems. He makes me want to be a better human and help people. Thank you MACKLEMORE for an AMAZING SHOW!!
