It was Awesome and a great show!
It was nice to see Willie Nelson still kicking, Just wish Waylon Jennings was still here to play with him. Thanks for a great show WN. WJ - RIP
ADA seating could use some work (too far from stage), elevator is not clearly marked. I actually got stuck inside a freight elevator. :/ and I could not understand the lyrics at all due to the echo in the amphitheater. But Lana and her dancers did amazing. I especially loved the swing and the visuals on screen. Fantastical and nostalgic.
Outstanding! Billy and his band are unbelievable! Played 3 hours with a 20 minute break! Members from Leftover Salmon came on stage after break and they played 7 songs together! The venue also makes you have an enjoyable experience and the Orion does disappoint, from easy access off the highway to ease of leaving and everything in between!
Koe Wetzel is a modern day cowboy who owns the stage. This show had a mix of his new songs as well as some of his older greats. He also sang some songs that he had not sang at other shows in other states. Great lyrics and visuals equal a great show and this show was great. With Dylan Wheeler and Kolby Cooper opening the show, it brings a whole new energy to a Wetzel show. Definitely a 10 out of 10 this time.
If you are not familiar with Dylan Wheeler you should be. One of the best voices in the industry and songs that hit hard. Did not disappoint in Huntsville. With a wide variety of songs and music, Wheeler rocked the house and had chills up and down each arm with his range. To put it simple, the guy is a badass who just happens to be a great singer.
Foreigner show was awesome, i thought they should have headlined the show.
Now the venue seating was not good at all. I was on the floor and the seats and rows are so close together that you cant stand of sit strait ahead without rubbing shoulders with the one next to you. The guy and his wife wanted to fight me and push me claiming space...this made the show as well as the follow up to Styx miserable. The seating needs to have more room between the aisle and the seats larger for the cost of the tickets and comfort of the guests.
Lainey put on a great performance. I think her stage props were too big for venue. There were many songs that we couldn’t even see her (beginning with the very first song) because she was at the back of the stage on props. We know this was because of our seats, but we still felt the main artist should be in front of her band performers.
This was our first visit to the Orion Amphitheater and it was amazing!! The venue is so clean, there are more than enough bathrooms and drink stations, stairs, exits, elevators, parking, etc. We cant wait to attend another concert here!
Neil Young and Crazy Horse were in fine form. The highlight of the show was their guitar interplay on “Love and Only Love.” It was great to hear the lost verse of “Cortez the Killer” in concert. The Orion is a great venue.
My first time hearing these guys live ( and my first trip to the Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Alabama. What a great venue and a superb bunch of musicians! Go see ‘em!!
One of the BEST concerts I’ve been to yet!! I even cried twice 😭💜 so happy and can’t wait to see you again in Nebraska!!🥰💚 Bunnie Beautiful as ever!💋 Bailey Rocked it!🌈 struggle KILLED IT TOO!! Caitlyn Curtis has a BEAUTIFUL VOICE 😍
These guys were great. My only complaint is that it wasn't a Flatland Cavalry show, but a Parker McPopcountry show, so we got the first 9 songs of the standard FC set and a NGDB singalong cover to close it out. A FC show where they don't play A Life Where We Work Out somehow seems disappointing to the extent that a FC show could be disappointing. Please come to Huntsville as a headliner and play a full set. Leave Parker McGoldchains at home.
First time seeing Illenium and will definitely see them again! I wasn’t sure if I’d like them because I didn’t vibe well with their songs on Spotify, but hearing them live and mixed in with drum and bass and dubstep really made it everything I could’ve dreamed of and more! Show was beautiful visually as well! 10/10
Played a lot of classics for the blue album , Green album and Pinkerton. Momma was a please t surprise and Modest Mouse brought it as usual. I am a huge fan of Weezer. The Blue album was one of the first cd's I personally bought. I am a little.biased but it was still a killer show at a killer venue.
Weezer was fantastic. The sound was perfect. The set was top notch. I could have done without the opening bands, or at least would have preferred different ones. Having a pit was annoying. Would have rather seen dedicated seats in that area. Other shows I’ve been to with a real front row seat have been amazing. The disinterested, inebriated folks in the pit detracted from the overall experience.
Charles Wesley Godwin was amazing! The venue was great- I was 8 rows from stage- couldn’t have gotten better seats. Sorry I didn’t stay to watch Cody Jinks, Mama was getting tired ( she’s old) and I had gotten what I wanted, to see Charles Wesley Godwin again. Can’t wait to catch him at the Ryman Auditorium one day
The show itself was absolutely amazing, and the back drop/light show was great as well. But it was way too loud! Their voices are beautiful as well as their songs, but it was so loud that you couldn’t understand ANY of the lyrics. This was the first time my husband had listened to them, and it was so loud, that he had to leave before the concert was finished. Don’t know whether this was due to the band or the venue.
This man is SO talented. I'm thrilled to have had an opportunity to witness the magic he is able to exude from his piano, keyboard, and organ. He really looked like he was having such a great time doing what he loves. Thank you also to his band mates for sharing their talent. Together you sounded phenomenal. Matthew Whitaker puts on a show that you have to witness more than once.
Chris and company are doing exactly what God intended…Soulful blues meets honky tonk fun! With hands on a guitar and an eye on his Lovely Lady (Morgane is an amazing talent as well). A show everyone should hear…you won’t be disappointed! Nice new venue as well 😉
This was the second time I seen them I seen them in 2000 at UAB basketball gym they opened up for Jimmy Page and Robert plant it was awesome. Robinson came out on stage wearing yellow leather bell bottoms with green marijuana leaves all over them it being in the gym the sound was so good Page and plant played at least 10 Zeppelin songs and they were tuned in it was great this show last night was excellent Chris is still the entertainer he was from day one it seemed like everyone enjoyed the show if you can see him go see them
