It was an awesome show! Izzy Escobar was great! I did feel bad for her because there were people in the back who were talking while she performed, and continued talking even after she kindly asked them to stop for her last two songs.
Eric Hutchinson always does an amazing show! He played so many of his great hits! As always, he is great at involving the audience to sing, dance, and laugh throughout the show. He and his band are so fun and so talented as well. Whenever Eric Hutchinson is in town, I will be there!
The venue doesn't have parking, so parking is free, but you may have to walk a few blocks. Not bad!
Absolutely amazing! His voice live, gives me chills. You can feel the strength of his voice resonate inside. At the same time he sounds so vulnerable with his songs. He is such a talented person and I’m so grateful to have seen him perform. I wish he would’ve performed longer as I can listen to him all day. We got to meet his mother who was just beaming from watching him perform!! Can’t wait to see him again. He’s also so down to earth.
Love venue as this is my first time it Venice West. Cool spot, great vibe and bartenders where fast and cool. Greyboy All-stars never disappoint. Much love and respect to all!
Lissie was awesome! Her and her guitar was the perfect performance. Venice West is a great venue with helpful attentive wait staff right up to the start of the show.
What can I say other than breathtaking and emotional. I grew up going to Hawaii so hearing John Cruz perform live here in SO Cal is a very heartfelt treat for me. His albums "Acoustic Soul" and "One Of These Days" are must haves in your collection. 😊🤙❤️
Well crafted songs, skilled musicians, and a welcoming venue made this Particle Kid show a memorable night. Locals and visitors alike enjoyed themselves in a friendly atmosphere, playfully rocking out to music suspended on the edge of chaos.
Amazing show by Blastmaster KRS-One and his crew. The energy was incredible and the setlist was fire, just like the freestyles.
Fedro Starr from Onyx pulled up for the show.
The venue is very nice. Allows proximity to the artist and brings the people together.
Eilen was great! First time for us seeing her ! Keep in mind that general admission at this venue means that you will be standing for the entire event! Absolutely No options for a seat anywhere unless you had dinner reservations prior to the show. (I guess that’s how it works) I’m not disabled but have had hip replacement surgery and am a senior. More than 3 hours on my feet is not too enjoyable for me with consequences lasting into the next day or two.
The Crane Wives are a great band. The Venice West show had them taking a few songs to gel, but once warmed up they delivered with dexterous guitar interplay and the soaring 3 part harmonies which are their stock in trade.
This show was incredible!!! the venue was intimate, with great sound and lights. The music was phenomenal. The band went on for two hours, and I was dancing the whole time. The harmonica sounds amazing, and so does their voices, music, and lyrics. the bass mixed in is precious. This is a must see and a treasure of a show. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.
Amazing, fantastic...pub was jammed packed with all the Dog Town legends celebrating Sully's 50th birthday party and I loved seeing them all there. People dancing to the music, and rocking out to some of the rock n roll songs ...with an occasional punk rock song creating a mosh pit in the center of the dance floor thrown in for fun, with special guests stars playing in the band (Jerry Miller from the Untouchables, Jenny Bomb, sax player). Everyone in good spirit, bartenders making big tips (at least from me).
Jeremy always makes for the best MC on any stage too.
Happy Birthday Sully!!
Jenny and the Mexicans are amazing! They put on such a good show and the Venice West is the perfect venue to see them. I highly recommend seeing a show there. If you get a chance you should check it out.
Great band , the venue is good too
I believe the sound was not loud enough but I guess it's City regulated or something
I meet the band and get merchandise signed
I did not see this particular concept but have seen them dozens of times over the years. They are a spectacular band with beautiful harmony and talented musicians and wonderful people. This band is like none other!👍❤❤
I wasn't there and but I know for a fact Keller left everyone feeling real groovy, as he always does! I wish he could tell more often instead of one night once in a year
Always a pleasure 2 get back 2 my roots, but when the living legend Poncho Sanchez is the orchestra himself. Well it'sa surprise I'm not doing daily. His music makes it easy to be with my roots...
Gracias Hermanito 🙏🏻
See you in Montebello
These guys were nothing short of magical. Their set was perfection, with a sprinkle of the police and bob marley to their own incredible songs... couldn’t have asked for better. Incredible energy And so much fun. Nasri is a charismatic frontman and held the crowd in the palm of his hand. Can’t wait to see more
Super tight band full of energy. The Greyboy All-Stars always bring their A game and this show was no exception; everybody was on the beat, well crafted solos and dynamics and sounded great. I never miss one of their shows, always a favorite.
Stone Foxes are amazing one of the best rock bands in the last 20 years. They got high energy great tunes to sing along. They are very intimate Shannon the lead singer comes out to the crowd you can see the band having fun unlike other bands that look like unhappy & treat it as a job. I never heard someone who was their first time seeing them said that they are just ok they are alway blown away great band they would say.
What a great night of real Irish craic at The Venice West, watching Dave Nihil and his funny warm up act. This place has fantastic food, a great layout and vibe. The Young Dubliners last Friday blew the roof off there. Carl Roberts is the engaging Master of Ceremonies, a Dublin-born charmer.
