Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever

I have really liked John Grant’s music for at least a decade. I was very excited that he was doing a US tour again, so I bought my ticket immediately back in December 2024. The venue was really great! A large but intimate space where you could actually see the performers. The sound was perfect as was his setlist. And major shoutout to his opener Arny Margret. Beautiful voice and songs!

Such a big, mature voice at only 19! Great energy and spirit too energy✨️ I'm glad that we caught what I think was her 1st show in LA!

The show was fantastic, He is a talented artist and with his cello and violin ladies, it was angelic music. Hope he comes back soon.

It wasn't what I expected because I enjoy songs like Plain Gold Ring and Good Intent, but I wasn't totally unfamiliar with her newest songs from The Reckoning. I loved that she talked about her life, how she creates, what her struggles are. The music was soulful and contemplative.

JOHNNYSWIM's Valentine's Day performance at the Masonic Lodge was pure magic. Seeing them live for the first time was an unforgettable experience. Their music filled the intimate venue with love and emotion, and their undeniable chemistry left us spellbound. Amanda and Abner's voices blended seamlessly, delivering soul-stirring melodies that touched our hearts. But what truly made the night unforgettable was witnessing their genuine love for each other, both on stage. It was the perfect date night, fulfilling a bucket list dream.

Beautiful show. Stripped down from the original band format, but it still works really well as a duo. Shaun has a great ear for sound and this was the first live show my ears could tolerate without ear plugs in a long time. Great stage production for the small venue. I'm hoping for a little more visually on the upcoming tour, then this will be top notch. They managed to leave a lot of my favs off the setlist which is weird cuz it's not like they have a ton of albums, but I still stayed dancing through the whole thing. Looking forward to seeing them again very soon🙏🏽

An intimate concert venue in Hollywood with free parking in a lovely bucolic setting seemed too good to be true, but that's exactly what the Masonic Lodge in the Hollywood Forever Cemetary is! Hearing M. Ward made the evening complete. I look forward to coming back for more shows.

Great show!!!! Love the energy on stage and the drummer is next level. Went to their previous LA show. Side note to the sound engineer….The Mic levels were a little low making it hard to hear the vocals.

Emma, her voice, the piano, guitar , plus Patrick’s saxophone and the amazing acoustics in the venue created an ethereal experience. It was very moving.

Loved Anaïs and band as expected, as well as opener Samantha Crain. Great show. Very impressed with the small, comfortable venue- my first tome at Masonic Lodge/Hollywood Forever, but it won’t be the last.

The perfect place to see the atmospheric Lo Moon play! My new favorite venue. Reminds me of The El Rey back in the day. Lo Moon is fantastic live! I can totally seeing them play SNL one day.

They put on an amazing show! Played for nearly two hours! So much energy and emotion. It's my second time seeing them and won't be my last. Also, the new album is excellent. They play a good mix of new and old.

Richard was gracious and personable as always. His talents as a musician and songwriter were on full display; a couple of nice surprises, too, from his early days.

I haven't seen Phil play in 12 years, his artistry has only become stranger and more powerful in that time. it was a fantastic show

Energetic. Cinematic. Triumphant. Caspian always kills it and this was no exception. Can’t wait to see them again in Richmond and DC. Easily my favorite live band of all time.

Always a blast to see The Velvet Teen! Excited to hear what they are working on... the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever was beautiful, intimate, and had couches! Loved the experience, but the bands all looked super cramped on stage haha
