I’ve always been a fan of the Guess Who and Burton Cummings IS the Guess Who. I’ve been waiting for him to come to NY/NJ area for a while and we are so glad we got the chance to see his show. He and his band were amazing. The crowd was so into it. It brought us back to the 70’s era. I hope he keeps doing shows so everyone gets the chance to enjoy his music.
Always a good time seeing these 2!! Definitely a highlight of 2024! The set was AMAZING, the crowd was so intense and having so much fun. I'm so glad I finally convinced myself to buy a ticket.
Another great 'hometown' show (Jerry Gaskill is a NJ Native and legend imo....).
The band was on point from the first note. There was some audio drop outs here and there which I thought at first might have been just me but I did confirm this with other fans who were located in completely different areas for the show.
Lovely venue from an aesthetic point of view and organized well.
Great crowd of my fellow X-heads enjoying the boys doing the new material but also breaking out some old unexpected classics as well. For three guys they can blow the room up with sound but in the next minute bring it down to single notes. Awesome.
A short comment on handling emptying the venue though. Read the room. This was not a rabble of drunken frat kids or anything of the like. The "ushers" such as it were acted more like bouncers on a power trip. I understand you have to get people out but this was not some rowdy herd of unruly cattle to be stampeded. Especially if the merch table is still open in that front area (I have no problem about emptying the stage areas etc). The rush to push everyone out was not handled well. As corny as it sounds, learn a lesson from Roadhouse "Be nice" (the original movie, not the laughable remake). They even harassed some people I know that are connected to the band, a bunch of ladies no less, as if giving them 5 minutes (while the merch table etc was still popping) would have been the end of the world. I was not the only one who got this impression and it really put a damper on what otherwise was a spectacular night. Be better Vogel..
72 and still a most rocking punk ! The slow songs were beautiful too
Can’t Hurt a Fool alone with price of admission !!!
But what a band what a night
the ultimate way to see Pretenders in a small venue sweat and great songs
Paul Anka is one of my favorite Singers of all time. He is genuine, talented, and one of the greatest of all time. They don't make them like Paul Anka anymore. I have seen him perform over 10 times and I cant wait till the 11th time..
Mike & Rosie, Holmdel NJ
Always great to see Al Stewart! I think this was my 4th concert. I do like The Empty Pockets and remember when they opened for him but didn't play with him. I miss AS's more acoustic sound with more folk and less rock. But it was still great. Wish it had been a bit longer!
Excellent for both him and Rick Springfield. The only thing we wished was that Richard Marx did even more of his older hits that everyone knows but over all it was a great show.
Southside Johnny & Jukes tore down the house at the Count Basie theater! Fab experience, best way to celebrate New Year’s Eve, SSJ Never disappoints! VIP pre show was great too. What a blast to party with Jerseys best band !
Amazing Show!!! Beautiful venue!!! It doesn't get better than this!!! I have watched many videos of Eric and you have to experience it live! You will not regret unless you miss his show.
The best guitarist you’ve probably never heard of . TRULY a gifted soul. Absolutely phenomenal musician/singer with a great accompanying band.
He has more feeling than any other musician that I’ve ever seen live.
Some musicians give you chills or goosebumps, Eric makes your brain stem tingle, then you get chills.
I’ve driven hours to see him perform, glad this was so close.
Truly in a league of his own , it’s not his equipment, it’s all him !
If you appreciate great music, do not miss him!
This show was FABULOUS !!! Justin, Mike, Julie and Karmen provided a phenomenal show. I was surprised and very happy the concert was a little different than I saw in Richmond, VA back in June. Justin's voice was stronger than ever at this concert. It is very evident Justin genuinely cares about his fans and is truly a class act. The small venues in which he performs provide an intimate evening of enjoyable entertainment. I am looking forward to seeing Justin and his band next year.
We have been waiting for you to come to NJ. My daughter wen to School in Glasgow Scotland for a year. Just as her year ended you came there the day after she left. She was soooo mad.
Now coming here. One of the best concerts I have seen in a long time! You put on such a show! Your band and back up singers were all fantastic! You had this place popping! I can not wait to see you come into the States again. Please come back soon! BRAVO!!!
The show was fantastic. The venue was easy to find, parking wasn't a problem. Might be on the weekend though. I was not disappointed and had a great time.
We have been traveling to see Martin Sexton for the last 20+ years. This show was great. We chose the venue for its smaller crowd and more intimate setting. We were so happy with both the venue and artist. The 1 hr 30 min drive was well worth it!!!
Quintessential Martin!
Always a great show!
If you like his music you have to see him live! The supporting sounds that he creates with his voice and guitar are truly amazing! You’d swear there were multiple players on stage with him from a drummer to a horn section
Love how he hits those highs and lows!
What a fabulous range !
Already have my tickets to see him in Asheville. Maybe I can get him to play
Boom Sh Boom and 13 Step Boogie for my wife’s birthday!
Concert was awesome!! The whole band performed flawlessly. The energy was amazing. The only bad thing it was too dark, no spotlights on band unless the house lights were on.
Amazing show even better than I would have expected being the first time John and Mike have played together in about 12 years. It was emotional and John ripped it up way more so than in a dream theater shows of which I’ve seen most of them since 1998. Who played most of the first to solo albums that he has put out with some nice jams. Unfortunately the New Jersey audience was very small and it was depressing and embarrassing but I know the New York show tonight wasn’t much more sold. Did not seem to matter to the guys who had a blast and played their hearts out
The Wallflowers did not disappoint. Jakob was super sassy that evening. Joking with the crowd and attentive to the young kids that parents brought which was very sweet. The Wallflowers bring together people of all ages which is nice. Great to hear them play a few Tom Petty songs. All in all a great show at a fun venue.
Kiefer, accompanied by Marc and Rocoo were amazing together. It was very nice to hear songs from the first and second record played with acoustic instruments for the first time. It was also exciting to hear Kiefer play songs from the newly released album as well. Rocco and Marc are very talented musicians and were great additions to the show.
Great show! I wasn't familiar with Kiefer's music at all. Only saw 1 video before the show. His singing is great & he told interesting stories about each song before playing each one. It's rare that I would ever go to anyone's show without knowing the music. Great night out. Thank you, Kiefer! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
