Star of the Desert Arena

2nd time to see this tribute band perform! I was as great as the first time! Very entertaining and talented band!

The event it's self was very good. The atmosphere and the crowd was awsome. The venue was crowded but the crowd was very low key and respectful. Everyone was upbeat and understanding of the circumstances. The only thing lacking were the acomidations. The rooms at Buffalo Bill's were satisfactory. However there were a few glitches. I booked two rooms at Buffalo Bill's. On arrival we were early and asked if our rooms were available. They had available rooms at the Prim and sent us there. The Prim looked abandoned and neglected. The rooms and hallways were totally rundown and looked like a tweeker hotel. We promptly complained and in a hour or so we're changed to rooms at Buffalo Bill's. I believe because we were early we were accommodated but by the time we got our rooms the lines at the check in were very long and I believe we're were very very LUCKY to have our rooms changed. Now imagine how crowded Buffalo Bill's was. Cucos Mexican restaurant was maybe a 3 out of 10 for food quality. The lines were long at all the available food spots. After the concert we stood in line at the Pizza spot and after about 30 -40 minutes were advised they had run out of Pizza dough. Next we waited in line at Denny's after about 30 minutes we were seated and ordered our food. Service was good except they were just over extended, not enough employees to properly accommodate the crowd. It took approximately 30 minutes for our food to arrive and some portions of the food was cold. By the time we had waited in two lines and got our food it was 2 plus hours and we were ready to call it a night. The manager at Dennys comped the meal with the cold food so that was nice. Like I said service was about a good as you can get for the circumstances. But it was taxing and tiring. Rooms were about 180 a night after taxes and what they call a casino fee, which was BS. Until they rectify the conditions of the rooms and food experiences I would not choose to attend another event there.

Musicians were great but the production lacked effort.
