The show was great. I had seen Tayla perform 15 years ago when she was a member of the trio Stealing Angels. I was excited to see her after all this time and I bought tickets for my mom and Grandma who will turn 96 on Monday. This was a birthday/Mother's Day present to them as they're the major influences for my love of country music.
The show started at 7pm. Tre & Tayla started of with a duet of Louisiana Woman/Mississippi Man then each performed single hits of their respective grandparent. Between sets I handed one of the band members, who I later found out was the tour manager for the band, a letter I wrote to Tayla about my grandmother turning 96. Midway thru the second set Tayla read part of the letter then came down and sat with my grandma for a bit chatting with her. It was a surreal moment for me and a special one for her, though she's not one to want all the attention she received during and after the show.
Tayla & Tre continued switching off singing hit singles from Conway and Loretta mixing in one more duet before closing out the show with each of their signature hit songs to bring an end to a wonderful show. My only complaint is the show wasn't longer with how many songs they could've covered along with Tre and Tayla's original songs they've recorded for a new album. I would definitely see this duo again and highly recommend you go to a show if you have the chance to see a personal tribute to one of country music's greatest duos of all time.
When I first encountered The Harp Twins feat. The Volfgang Bros. on YouTube, I wondered what metal music played on a harp with accompaniment by the Volfgang Bros. on Viking drums could sound like. The Harp Twins are as beautiful as they are talented. The Volfgang Bros. are very talented percussionists and drummers; they make their drums and other instruments.
I don't understand why someone like Nightwish, Camelot, or Avantasia hasn't scooped them up to accompany them on a world tour.
The comedic banter between the girls is hilarious. And the Volfgang bros. are identical twins too.
The best performance ever …. Totally down to see them again! Perfect combination of price , time management, few jokes and of course meet & greet.
Knocked it out of the park as usual loved the new songs
Another great show! Loved the new songs...looking forward to the next album whenever they get that one made.
Lissie was in top form, there was a extra energy coming from the stage.
The band was into it and the opening group Reno del Cide was 1st rate.
They have a CD release on October 4th.
Lissie put on a great show and should be seen live by anyone who loves Great music.
Lissie played a great set. She is high energy and kept the place rocking. Reina Del Cid opened and played a great set as well. The lead guitarist, Toni (sp ?) was stellar. She played both sets, one acoustic and one electric.
She put on a fabulous show as usual!!! The band was great and Toni is a awesome lead guitarist!!
