No stranger to Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts. They always blow me away. Have seen them play 90’ sets eight times the past few years yet have never seen the same show twice. Other than the songwriting, the vocal harmonies are always mind blowing. Two- and three-part harmonies support the leads. Following that, always so impressed when their talented utility-player breaks out the oboe or baritone sax. The band is very approachable. Lead guitar player Dan spent 30’ chatting with me and my guest before the gig. Was able to talk to each of the band members to get a vinyl cover signed. Miles stopped by my table after the show to thank us for supporting him. He has always been generous with his audience. Besides that, this was my first time at the venue, The Law Office, despite having moved to Yorkville two years prior. Intimate and sounded great. Was concerned about the tin ceiling but the the crowd provided enough sound buffer that it wasn’t a factor. Was easy enough to get a drink and move around if you needed. Mix of high top seating, bar stools, and standing patrons. I try to catch Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts anytime I can, but now I’m gonna add The Law Office to my list of favored venues. Excellent show. Great atmosphere
