The band was great, especially the singer Romeo's voice, but the acoustic was not right at times. But overall a very great concert
Once was never going to be enough!! I went to the Melbourne Sideshow FATN and did the VIP thing - and it was beyond amazing! I couldn't believe that this band who have had all this success in the USA, especially since dropping the album Blackout - struggled to sell out 2 small room venues - with shitty sound and crappy lighting. So after being at this first Australian show in Melbourne - and there were still tickets for their Sydney sideshow - I jumped at the opportunity to go and see them before they flew out of Australia to home for the holidays.
I had never been to the "Crowbar" before, so that was new for me. The stage was small. The band were yet again - amazing and the VIP was again, they were gracious with their time, the Q&A, having photos with their fans, signing things for their fans and they were kind and they were exhausted after the travelling to Australia - but doing the 3 festival shows in 3 different states over 3 days - is a lot of hanging around in airports - waiting for terrible domestic services here and then going to the venue - sound checking - playing their sets - back to the airport.
There is a "home time" rivalry" for Melbourne and Sydney. Always has been, always will be. Matt B went on to say that this show in Sydney was "top 3" of his career - so that was exciting to be part of.
They had technical difficulties, sound issues, they were melting on the tiny stage but still performed like motherfo's!! They have promised to come back in 2025 and grow their Australian fan base - and I can't wait for them to return to our shores!
If you get an opportunity to see these guys - anywhere - don't miss it!! They are dynamic, fierce, friendly and wat to have a great time with the crowd!! Hurry back to Oz guys!! We miss you and thank you so much for the long haul travel to Australia... I value and appreciate the bands that do this - it's a long way for them to come!
Pretty good, got bullied from where I was standing though, there was also an old man twerking on me most of the night so I was uncomfortable. Good concert though
Best night of my life. The Struts are everything! Venue was disappointing with rude staff but the boys made up for it tenfold.
Slip from start to finish, flawless and fun. Sergio playing a Fender Jaguar instead of a bass was the only downside.
Absolutely brilliant. Enjoyed every second of the show. Met the guys and they are so down to earth with the respect they have for there fans. It's a night I will never forget. Thank you metal church for a brilliant night. Hope to see you's back here again 🙏
Ripping show, a privilege to hear them live. 5 stars to the mixing desk the sound was perfect.
Hope they return and I'll be there again.
Alex was phenomenal however the venue really sucked! Unless you were in the first 5 rows you couldn’t see her and the side doors kept opening so you could hear the pub music from next door! Different venue next time please!!
Was absolutely wicked! Could not be anymore happier with the line up, the crowd their involvement just the whole vibe was perfection! Also Starve was dope! Shout out to Jordan for the pic!
Great beands before them, great music.
Only wish they would’ve last longer and play more of the new stuff. Fucking love them tho
I was in heaven, will definitely see them whenever they come to Sydney. They didn’t play my favourites but that’s ok because they’re so damn good
Brilliant, as always, not a hint of ‘rock star’ attitude, a real punk band in every sense of the word, great crowd, no macho bs, just a bunch of rockers having a blast, we need more bands like these Gentlemen 😂, until next time! Cheers 🍻
Jeff was brilliant as always…my wife and I even got to meet him after the show, which capped off an incredible evening🙏!
broken noses, concussions, bathroom smelt like cookies, i jumped off the stage and crowdsurfed, I got a drumstick, and met some lovely sweet girls who took care of me
Was a killer gig.
1st up Alchemy put in a worthy showing with some straight forward no frills death metal.
2nd Wraith handled a nice mix of hardcore and deathcore to get the crowd warmed up.
3rd death metal Titans Defeated Sanity shredded from start to finish with some ultra technical, progressive brutal death madness.
Of course I purchased a defeated Sanity shirt and CDs.
Then Disentomb, pummeled our skulls with that mind bending musicianship and impossibly brutal vocals.
Was a Sikk gig all around. 5 Stars
Without doubt the Neptune Power Federation are the best live band playing in Sydney at the moment. A band comprised of musicians with the hard won skill earned through a lifetime of rocking deals out a feast for both the ears and eyes. Riffs that we all thought were forbidden are wielded with joy and crunching power whilst the Imperial Priestess Screaming Loz Sutch aka The Rat Queen presides above it all; mocking the heavens, defying hell and laying waste to any mere mortals foolish enough to stand in her path.
Killer night! Comacozer and Arrowhead were both very worthy and cool supports. When CoC hit the stage a though the roof was going to fly away. Great set, all the bases were covered!
It was amazing! You guys are phenomenal and the effort you put in to your shows and meeting all of us is incredible! One of the best days of my life.
The show was amazing! Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, both Remington and Emerson came out to meet us. Such a special and intimate night!
