The North Street Cabaret

The show was amazing! I have been listening to him for 10 years and I finally got to see him. His music was sublime, the stories behind his songs were enlightening, and his subtle humor is infectious. David Francey is a Canadian John Prine. His songs are full of the same depth of feeling, clever turns of phrase, and profound sincerity. Additionally, as if the afternoon needed anymore, Mr. Francey introduced us to the beautiful and immensely talented Terra Spencer and the charming and guitar wizard Christopher Joseph on guitar and supporting vocals. The venue was absolutely perfect. It is a lovely place with an excellent staff, and a place to which I will return. Lastly, the crowd was beautiful - it was obvious as soon as the first note was played that I was among kindred spirits. That Sunday afternoon is by the far the best in I can't remember how long. I sincerely thank The Mad Folk organization, the great people of the North Street Cabaret, the beautiful crowd, Terra & Christopher, and especially the great Mr. David Francey.

Amazing high energy show all four musicians very accomplished great selection of a variety material and engaging songwriting. Vocal harmonies are sweet.

The young Asian Pianist was lights out while the rest of the band was great as always.

I can’t express enough how incredibly crafted their art is. An intimate duo that is tight in their sparse moments yet can get impressively hug, all while telling captivating stories. I’ll always be a fan of these two!

Their musicianship is outstanding! This was a great time! I can't wait to see them again!
