The Bear Club

First time at an Alice Armstrong gig, and was blown away by her voice, which is amazing. Such range, power and dynamics. Everything from delicate, moving style (not ashamed to say ‘Can’t write a love song’ moved me to tears) through thumping bluesy numbers -awesome! The guys are fabulous too, which was no surprise, having seen Kev (drums) before during his stint in Catfish.

As usual, another great gig by this terrific band. I think it might even be better than seeing them at Ronnie Scots.

What an awesome venue! I am amazed at the quality of musicians playing at Grass Roots. But do not take my word for it Listen to the voice Listen to the keyboard Drummer played with the Spice Girls

The Bear Club is one of the coolest little venues. The bar staff are so friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The sound is fantastic, and Connor and the band were on a different level.
