49 Winchester is in my top 3 live performers, and they aren’t number 3. They sound so good live and the performance they put on is phenomenal. Far Out Lounge as a venue is really cool. Not big enough to feel over crowded and too far away from the stage, but enough room to pack in a rowdy crowd. We had a great night and hope to see 49 Winchester and go back to Far Out Lounge very soon.
As a huge Zeppelin fan, I never go into a venue thinking that any cover band will be able to do the original band justice, but these guys were fantastic. Specifically, the guitarist was mind blowing-ly talented. I truly wish they had played twice as long as they did. Can’t wait to see them again!!
Well the show is mostly staring at the back of her t-shirt but it was amazing music. The crowd was revved up for “Dancing With Ghosts “ which was also my favorite moment, and one of the only with lyrics. Someday I hope to see her in a dedicated show, as the third-act in the line up did not lend to a crowd that was her own. Unjust, in that regard.
Just phenomenal, so loud and beautiful. I’m beyond pleased to have had the opportunity to see Drop Nineteens with Ringo Deathstarr and Slowdive.
This band really does a great job recreating the Allman Brothers music. The main singer (I forgot his name) sounded so much like Gregg Allman that when I first heard him, I looked around to make sure he wasn't lip-syncing... HE WASN'T!!! The rest of the time I just happily sang along to all the great sounds they reproduced. GREAT JOB GUYS!
I didn’t get to go but I know they went nuts!! Placeface if you see this come back soon by yourself you don’t need all those guys!
Great energy. The band sounds great and are playing really tight together. Love the way the songs from Data Doom sound live. Trying to talk myself into catching some more shows when they return to the states in June.
Was not a fan of the opener at all. Other than that, it was fun! I just wish there had been more food trucks and little pop ups at the venue like it was marketed online.
Mike Dillon and Punkadelick put on an amazing show. They played for over three hours. High level of musicianship and creativity.
Big Crumb fan, love them. Venue was great. I understand the weather delay, but wish they would have played, "Locket". Maybe next time.
Fantastic performer, didn’t know many songs, but now I want to know them, he was just recently sick, so he wasn’t able to perform to his best, but who can blame him
Very interactive with the crowd, played popular and not popular songs, had a great energy around him, and was entertaining to watch!
I can’t wait for the next tour, I might even have to take a flight to wherever they’re playing next
I was pleasantly surprised by The Black Tones. They were very impressive. The music was original and fresh. The bass player was absolutely Incredible. The band was extremely talented. My only complaint was that the guitar amp was too small and quiet which made the drums sound too bright. Had they used a 100w amp with 4x12 stack, I think the band's sound would be drastically improved. That being said, however, they really were fantastic and highly recommended.
Couldn’t make the show at home in Chicago, so we came down to Austin. MFGG has yet to disappoint. Such a fun time as always.
The venue is now one of my favorites in Austin.
The bar staff, food trucks and bathrooms were all something that other venues should strive for. I’m on crutches or a walker and everything is VERY accessible.
The show exceeded any expectations I could have had. ALL of the musicians obviously liked each other and put on such an AMAZING show.
I knew of some of the artists, but I’m so glad to add more to follow and support. I can’t wait for NEXT year…..
This is my favorite band so I may be biased. The band members and the person who works at their merch booth are kind and funny. Their songs are short so they end up playing a lot of them in a 1 hour set. I will always jump at the chance to go to any of their shows.
The show was amazing! So glad I got to see them this time. The only thing was, I was at the front and the sound of the vocals were lower than the instruments which drained out Tarek's voice. Either way I was still stoked to see them.
Awesome. These guys are so great. Brought it every song. The venue is always perfect and the boys nailed it.
This band has such an amazing energy and vibe! Great to dance to! You have to get up and move when they play their honey made jams! Definitely will be following them from now on!
