This was a great show by a great band. I was glad to learn that the stupid death growl is not nearly as obnoxious live as it is on albums. I would definitely go see them again. The venue is a strange place, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it!
First of all I have to commend staff member Sabrina for making this an incredible occasion...I'm handicapped and she made sure that I was taken to the proper location, ensuring I didn't miss anything. Sabrina, I love you!
And the show...what can I say? He was AMAZING. I've been a fan since I was a teenage guitarist and he was one of my biggest ifluences, and the show was everything I dreamed of and more. I loved his new stuff, I loved his older stuff, I just was blown away. Everyone who has the opportunity to attend one of his shows...don't hesitate! Go go go! What an incredible experience!
Sleep theory was a great opening act. Veil of Maya was not impressive, unfortunately. Wage war was the “co-headliner” and was second to last which was disappointing as they are by far the best act on the bill. Either way; they killed it as always. They always have so much energy and stage presence, and they always sound better live.
BFMV was amazing. Both opener and OMAM were great!!! Loved their energy! The 3 styles blend well and really work you up to the main act.
BFMV were very interactive and loved the crowds energy! We even got an extra Encore song. Crowd surfing was in full swing lmao and the PIT was awesome. Great fans and a great vibe!!!
This event was great. Great entry, very smooth and quick. You're able to sit on the steps and wait which if you're early is awesome. A few bars a lounge and great bathrooms.
Super amazing show. Pierce the Veil and the Used!!! I know it was going to be a great show! Honestly both bands exceeded my expectations. They both opened with the perfect songs!! The venue has a big/little intimate feel to it!!! I hope Pierce the Veil comes back soon!!!
I really hate to say this but the show was...ok. There were bands I didn't give a shit about and there was a point where I was legit getting BORED, which is something I NEVER want to say about a concert.
The songs Pierce the Veil performed were good. Mosh pit went crazy, WAY crazier than I thought tbh.
Maybe I'm biased cause I haven't heard their new stuff too 🤷🏾♀️ but man...I don't want to say I was disappointed but it could've been better.
Overall it was a great concert. I thought Gary Numan put on a really good show. The mosh pit that started when they were playing N.W.O. lasted the rest of the show and was wild. Encore was only one song.
Wow Just Wow is all i can say!! One of the Best concerts I have been to in a long long time!! felt like i was in my 20s again!! keep on rockin' guys!! the younguns got nothing on ya'll!! you showed them what it really means to rock your faces off!!
My first time seeing Third Eye Blind and really enjoyed the show. My only complaint is it was a hard to hear the vocals at times and they didn't play one of their hit songs that is my favorite.
If you haven’t seen Elle King, what are you waiting for?? Truly one of the best live performances you will ever see. Great interaction with the fans (thanks for the shoutout on my galElletines sign)!! I never liked country before but now I’m a believer in this #afreakinmen
AMAZING! Being I am a OG 3DG fan... and attending many concerts in NOLA etc. ( especially now getting to show my bestie being … -8Yrs my age) how amazing this experience is, was EPIC!!! 🤘 Thanks for Everything, Guys! I can relate in so many ways and appreciate how you have helped me through So Much! Don't Ever Change!!! Much Love from Louisiana!!!!❤⚜
Amazing! The Warning was phenomenal. I thought it took a lot of confidence to have a band that talented open up for you. It reminded me of when I first saw Van Halen open up for The Rolling Stones when they were an unknown commodity. I was familiar with The Warnings music before the show. They surpassed my expectations. Halestorm took it to the next level when there didn't seem to be the next level. The Warning's harmonies are war cries. Lizzy Hale's voice is preternatural. I was with my daughter, the tickets were my birthday present and I totally didn't cry when Lizzy sang Dear Daughter, okay maybe a little, must have been the smoke. Will see both bands again. New Years Day was also exceptional.
FANTASTIC!! Finally got to see them perform alive and i couldnt have loved it more. Tons of energy, lots of fun. Huge crowd. The Fillmore may want to see about having that floor reinforced after all the jumping around wr did. Zero 936 was AWESOME! I became an immediate fan!
The band was great. The concert on a whole was great. I’m disappointed because I paid for the vip package, and my son and I weren’t able to see the band during the vip time. I received my receipt for the vip package via email to my regular inbox. Apparently the email with the meet and greet time went to my spam folder. I had no idea that I was supposed to get this email. Nowhere did it state that I should expect a second email on the website or on my email with my receipt.
Of course, this isn’t the band or the venue’s fault. Soundrink should have stated somewhere to look out for the email, as it may get sent to spam folders. Soundrink also refuses to be accountable for not letting people know to be on the lookout for that email. My otherwise great night was marred by this poor communication from Soundrink
Absolutely fucking incredible boys, keep that shit up. And thank you so much for playing my favourite old shit song ,The Final Episode. Also, the most emotional song that helped me alot back in the day, New World. Love you guys, you fuckin rock.
I am completely lost in the Fillmore’s lack of knowledge of lights and the experience of working with lights! Other than the getting blinded directly by painful punctured of lights!
Anywho- maybe I am getting too old or I am just so spoiled I had to complain that- freaking sucks- never in my life and I am bit older than Jerry- fucking blinded constantly
It was our third time seeing them and it was great to see them again. Unfortunately during the break before the encore, some idiot ran up on stage, jumped off and clotheslined another group of fans. One girl was hurt and removed via stretcher. Claudio came out and apologized for having to stop the show, but they were shaken up by the whole ordeal. Stinks that we didn't see The Liar's Club but I respect the band for their decision.
The sound was horrible for the first song or two, but was corrected. The place was packed so I was happy I had a reserved seat even though the lights overhead were too bright. The lights took away from the intimacy that the lack of phones provided. Jack was amazing on guitar as usual. It was cool to see him play keyboard and run to his guitar to finish the song. Although The Raconteurs is my least favorite of his bands, it was still worth the price of admission. No pics due to locked phones. I appreciated it and the unlocking was super fast at the end of the show.
Probably the best show I’ve seen in a while, that solo that Jack played during ,”Blue Veins”, was absolutely amazing. It was the first show I felt like I was really apart of. I just wanna thank The Raconteurs for putting on a mind blowing show.
First time at the Fillmore. Very nice place. Meshuggah killed as always. First time seeing them with Per Nilsson in Fredrik Thordendals place. He did not disappoint.
He actually personally handed me his guitar pick. The rest he just threw out in the crowd.
Finally got to meet Marten. He was super nice. I had been messaging him online days before the show and told him that I would be wearing my Chaosphere Jersey and when they came out on stage he pointed at me and smiled. I was given a show specific poster that was reserved only for VIPs. Someone came up and handed it to me as the lights went down for the show to start. I got one of Tomas' sticks. The 4th I've gotten from him. My first since he switched companies. I also got a setlist which like my others is framed and on the wall.
BDM also did a great job. Trevor came up to me and my friends after the show and thanked us for being up front and supportive. He was also super nice.
