Lowther Pavilion

Excellent as always. Some of the songs were actually better than the original!

First time we’ve visited the Lowther Pavilion and it’s an ideal intimate venue for these concerts. Plenty of leg room etc. As for Gareth John and the SOS Swing Band what a performance. It was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Full interaction with the audience and the performance from the whole company from vocals to musicians was nothing short of brilliant. Thoroughly entertaining and fully committed professional orchestra. As for the songs whilst paying tribute to the various artists it was made better by being in his style rather than trying to imitate them. Would definitely recommend seeing this show and will certainly book again when they are at Latham in the future. Well worth the hours drive on a Friday night in winter.

Great show, very funny, love you mark

Came on at 9pm and finished at 10.10pm. Mic and guitar problems for the first 15 mins, couldn’t hear it and vocals were really muffled. It could have been a fire emergency and you wouldn’t have heard the announcement. Once sorted, the band played continuously with their hits and favourites. Good sound, great tunes and lots of happy faces. The audience interaction is limited but the musicianship and energy is very good. It was my first time as a long term fan to see them live - I wasn’t disappointed and look forward to seeing them again. 👏🎸🎶

A fabulous evening with old songs and new. The new album is lovely and Tony has still got it ! Recommend

Great show in an intimate environment. Laura Oakes was a fantastic warm up act and Ward Thomas delivered the country goods as expected. Outstanding British country delivered with pure voices and simple musical accompaniment played to perfection.

Best live group I have seen in years.Excellent musicians.

Beautiful songs, voice and playing. A wonderful evening of music in a venue with a great crowd. I will spread the word.
