Haymarket Theatre

Fantastic evening of beautiful Irish folk music from a wonderful acoustic band including violin, cello and bass with Cara Dillon sharing evocative memories which inspired her to write the songs. Another legendary Lakeman (her husband Sam) was on stage. Their current tour is over and it was a privilege to be there to give a standing ovation.

Cara Dillon and the band were stunning. Her extraordinary voice is sublime and the words and music were wonderful. Always a joy to see and hear her but this time was outstanding. The standing ovation was well deserved.

In this jubilee year, a new regent has arisen and he has earned his "Crown". Long live the King! Eric and his magnificent band was as always outstanding in this great little venue. Ably supported by the fantastic Dom Martin and his power trio who have also been added to the "can't wait to see them again" list.

Wonderful set, still an amazing voice and what a bonus to have Boo Hewerdine playing guitar for her. Terrific night, would definitely see her again!
