Great show. Took my son's. They were really surprised to have such great seats.
Big thanks to Moon Taxi for coming to Winston Salem.
Gavin was great but the was nicely redone but the stage is way too short you could barely see over the people in front of you
Great venue and a great band!! Art and his band really listened and really got to know their fans during the meet and greet!! Such a great guy!!
Sound was muddy where I was standing. Red Fang were good, but not at their best. Still, really glad I saw them and I hope they come to the Triangle soon.
I've been attending concerts for over 50 years -- over 600 shows from small clubs to 250,000 attendance festivals. I've seen the legends of Rock History -- Led Zep, Pink Floyd, The Who, Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Clapton, Stevie Ray, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and Judas Priest. As well as the Prog Rock titans -- Yes, King Crimson, U.K., Kansas, Camel, ELP, Rush, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Opeth, Radiohead, The Pineapple Thief, Riverside....the list goes on and on. But note for note, and riff for riff, the Dixie Dregs and the Steve Morse Band is right up there with the elite of the elite. For 3 straight hours, Morse and his bandmates literally had the crowd in a trance, jaw open and baffled at the sounds they were creating. These musicians have not missed a beat from the first time I saw them 45 years ago; and, with Jordan Rudess joining them for the first time since the mid-1990's, I felt like I had stepped into a time machine and gone back in time 30 years. I implore any music fan to run, don't walk, to the closest venue left on this tour. Trust me...you will not regret it.
Fantastic Show,
Flogging Molly was in top form, a great mix of new and older material, Couldent have asked for a better set.
The opener was Gen and the Degenerates. First time to see them and they were more fun than a bouncy house. Highly recommend if you get a chance to see this tour, Go!! You wont regret it.
Cash Bash 2024. Great time. Super venue at the Ramkat. Thanks to the amazing Richard Boyd for making this happen every year!!
Lettuce is such a amazing band! They have cultivated such a tight sound! The Ramkat is a great venue! Congratulations to the owners for creating it!
They get more and more polished every time i see them. The music had taken a turn towards funk, which is an AMAZING match to their improv based alt country sound. I like being on the balcony and watching the crowd lose their minds when these guys lock in and blast off. I hope to see them at least 15 more times this year. If you have any doubts, just GO. You'll be glad you did
I've lived her for 30 years but this was my first time at the Ramkat and the staff were welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere at Gas Hill was casual and friendly.
The Arcadian Wild were all that I hoped for an more. There was a synergy between them and the audience, a full sharing, of us welcoming them for their first time to Winston Salem and them welcoming us into the living room of their hearts through their amazing music and stories. I am so very glad I went and took others with me. I will go to see them again and will likely return to the Ramkat, too.
The venue was intimate and the audience was very engaged throughout. The sound was great and Mr. Stamey was spontaneous and vulnerable. The set length was just right and the setlist struck a balance of the old, the new and the obscure. And the ticket price was quite reasonable. More! More! (Just one request--ditch the music stands.)
My first time seeing Ace play live and it was fantastic! One of my childhood hero’s on stage in a small venue
Ace’s voice was spot on for his age, fumbled a few of the lyrics but that didn’t matter, guitar wizadry was amazing… I cut him a little slack due to his age
As always, these guys brought it. They are EXCELLENT, I catch them as often as I can and every time I leave a little gobsmacked. Towrds the end of the show, when BJ starts talking, it takes a while for all the drunks to shut up, but invariably it gets quiet enough to hear a pin drop before "The First Year" starts. I have tickets for their next show In Charlotte and odds are pretty high I'll catch another one shortly before or after that one :-)
Another great show by the Wood Brothers In Winston Salem. They just keep getting better. I hope we get to hear the Muse in Raleigh
One of the greatest bands of all time! The comraderie between the bandmates was palpable; they were just as enjoyable to watch perform as they were to listen to play! Their occasional banter was downright hilarious, which is part of their charm. But it's their musical range as musicians that is just astounding. They can take any song from any genre and make it into a funky, soulful gem of a tune that they just blast out of the auditorium. They played in perfect sync with each other and made it look effortless. I can't even pick a favorite song because they were all so beautifully performed. I had the great fortune to meet them after the show while they tended the merchandise stand, and they were just so delightful. Really down to earth people, doing what they love and sharing their love with the audience. It was incredible! I will see them in concert every chance I get. Truly one of the finest bands around! Some of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet, and supremely talented. If you're considering seeing them live, do NOT miss the opportunity! You won't regret it.
Hey, You gotta love Seth!! He plays to the audience like an old friend just hanging out in your living room on a Friday night. Songs are touching but not sappy. Words hit home in every instance and his art changes with the issues at hand. The only thing I wish is that he had been the headliner and played my favorite song. The always upbeat and timely piece, “Turn this thing around”. Keep going Seth!!! You’re the real deal!!!
He's the best! I've seen him 3 times with Zombie and that was my 3rd with the creatures! I'll go everytime he's close 🤘🤘🤘
The show itself was great but getting in took so long that we missed Shadow of Intent, one of my husbands favorite bands. Whitechapel and Cannibal Corpse were great.
For some reason it’s not letting me give this a 5. I’ve been wanting to see them for decades and finally the stars aligned. The bass lines are still tight. The guitar work is subtle mastery and Jerry was Jerry!! Most underrated band in history
