Great show. Johnny Irion was good. Dillon Fence was fantastic. Thought The Connells played with good energy. Surprised at some songs they played and some that were left out. Running Mary was awesome. The whole encore was rocking. Travelled 12 hours to see them after having been a fan since 1991.
I loved the show, the rain may have delayed it, but took nothing away!! Her energy, her voice and that it is a family affair! I wish she had more time!!
It was a perfect evening. The venue is lovely, and the opening band was surprisingly good. The other surprise was Andrew Bird's voice! I'm very familiar with his music, but it was my first time seeing him live, and what a gorgeous voice! It was a memorable concert. It was one of the best I have ever attended.
Boney and his band never disappoint! Maysa & Kenny Lattimore were excellent too! Great line-up and venue for a Summer concert.
I like Wynton and I know him and have done workshops with him and his father in the past. Years ago. I have great admiration for him and his family.
The musicians he brought with his were spectacular and they were very seasoned. Overall, I thought the show was too short and he didn't cover the depth of arrangements I had anticipated hearing. I guess because it was so good, I wanted more.
--- I hate he didn't come out to mingle with the audience afterwards. He would have remembered me and my girlfriend. now wife...
Kurt Elling deserves his extraordinary reputation!
Confident, inspiring, joyous, and empathetic, he and SuperBlue had the crowd hooked and rocking in the first two minutes.
And the entire group of musicians were obviously having as much fun as their so vocal fans. Nothing could dampen the spirit of the clapping and whooping crowd, not even a several minute downpour. Out came a sea of umbrellas, and the swinging audience just stayed with their Pied piper.
Thank you, Kurt Elling - you and your
so-spirited colleagues!! And thanks to the wise young ma who, after years of dreaming booked you into the NC Museum of Art amphitheater.
There are not enough stars available to adequately describe Brian Culbertson’s performance at the North Carolina Museum of Art! He and his band not only put on a show, they made the audience leave with a smile on their face and a warm feeling in their heart! Brian and the band played for nearly 2 hours never missing a beat and playing a mixture of his old and brand new songs! If you’ve never seen him perform live, take my word for it, you will NOT be disappointed. Take it from a 4 time show attendee in the past 2 years! He’s worth it!
So great. Perfect night. Have seen them many times and they never disappoint. Seeing them next month in Wilmington. Can't get enough!!! And amethyst hiah was also good. Wanted to check out her merch table after the show but they had already packed up. Already had 2 scr shirts and pre ordered the new CD so wanted to spread the wealth.
Samara was absolutely fantastic! I have seen her perform live four times within the past year and hands down, this performance was stunning. To witness the growth in her stage presence and delivery of songs has filled my heart with joy!
The concert was awesome. Her voice is amazing!! So glad they moved the venue inside due to weather. As Samara continues to mature her voice and performances will only get better!!
The show was amazing! Her voice is breathtaking and beautiful! Her stage presence was awesome! The vibe and atmosphere was great! The whole evening was so therapeutic. I can’t wait to see experience her in concert again!!!
Band was fantastic. I’m tempted to physically follow the band and attend multiple concerts. The only negative part about of the show was the constant chatter from the other concert gowers surrounding us. I don’t mean singing- singing is great! It’s as if the groups of attendees were surprised to find themselves at a concert and the music was clearly interfering with their commitment to carrying on a protracted conversation. Please, please my fellow concert fans, be mostly quiet and listen or stay home and talk. Put on an album and chatter away. Conversation during a concert is loud and distracting, Wood Brothers are wonderful and deserve our full attention for as not to miss even one well crafted note.
With the exception of the rain it was a great night. This is an excellent band that combines musicianship, style and an eclectic catalog of music to give the audience a memorable night. The Mavericks are a must see. Raúl and the guys are a pleasure to listen to and watch perform.
Third time seeing them. Even with a storm delay and some rain it was a great show. These guys are awesome. Amazing jam session. Maggie Rose provided a great start. Already looking forward to the next time.
Great show. Rained for about 2/3 of the concert but they rocked and the crowd responded
Only negative was the show was postponed 30 mon, but the gate didn't get all the people on on time.
I only gave it 4.5 because of the rain, but I do know the Mavericks cannot control the weather…. Other than that, the show was fantastic! Can’t wait to see them again!
Great to see Bruce and band enjoying themselves, great jams, fun new interpretation of old songs. Great venue, wish Amos Lee played a few songs less, knowing Bruce had to stop at 11, and the start time had been pushed back. Probably missed a great encore song, but we'll never know thanks to Raleigh's curfew.
Such a beautiful person and fucking best guitar player that ever lived 😍 thank.you fir coming to NC, USA CB band!!!
They were great as well as Chatham Rabbits.
My only concern is there needs to be more access for seating for those that are not members . Just my two cents. We heard them but did not see them. Still, it was great hearing them live
An amazing performance from start to finish. Great venue and Jenny Lewis rocked the house as the opener!
