Loved the show and the venue. The Boys are very soukfoul and Amazing Grace brought me to tears.
We enjoyed every minute. The opening act, Shemekia Moore, was perfection; her voice, lyrics, and band were fantastic. And The Blind Boys were everything I hoped for and more! I loved their music, their passionate message, and the spirit they brought into the theatre. The night was truly unforgettable!
Great show. Her voice is incredible. This was the perfect program. She said she wished Dylan was there to sing them instead of her. I thought, "I like her version of every song. VERY different feel. She definitely makes them "her own", and "her own" is fantastic. Maybe she'll release a cover album of Blood on the Tracks. I'd love that.
One of the Quartet members was kind enough to allow me to attend the August 10 dress rehearsal since I was leaving Santa Fe the morning of August 11. It was an exceptional opportunity to see these world-class players "work" at their artistry with technical brilliance, comaraderie and deep commitment to Bartok's music. Watching the rehearsal was a great privilege and I am deeply grateful to the Quartet.

Fantastic! Ray Benson never fails to, and his supporting cast, as always, produces. Great Bob Wills tribute. I hear this is their last touring year, so I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it.
Neko Case is phenomenal. Her show at the Lensic Theater in Santa Fe was gorgeous. The new songs she and her band played were so beautiful (spider webs!!!). And her band! So excellent. I love seeing her live so very much, I am such a fan girl. I love her weird songs (to quote her), and how they touch on so many things in this world that matter to me, and that I can feel and relate to. She is singular - no one else comes close to her. The Lensic Center for the Performing Arts is a beautiful space, with great sound.
Fantastic performance, exceptional Spanish guitarist, great band and beautiful dancers. A Benise show rivals any Vegas show. Go see him if you want to experience a high energy production and virtuoso guitar playing!!
Absolutely wonderful. She gave a question and answer talk before the concert that was extremely interesting. During the concert she brought out a new young female bassist who knocked it out of the park! Jam packed house and the acoustics were amazing. She played songs from her Black Bottom playlist and it was really fun.

Back to the Mavericks, my favorite band to see and enjoy every minute!! They played all my favorites, but then again, they are all my favorites!! The guys brought their A game to Santa Fe again!!
Opening act was great!
Mavericks were good as usual but this is the second show ( went this summer to the Oasis in Alb. show. ) where it was too loud.
The Oasis show was so loud my 80 year old mother took out her hearing aids and even then we left early since she was so uncomfortable.
The show at the Lensic was not as loud but would have been more enjoyable if the decibel level was lowered a bit.
As always, The Mavericks put on the best live show! We got great music, humor, a little crazy, and dancing!
Jack White always delivers…never boring or the same…always creative, different and professional. Also, a huge shout out to the incredibly polite crowd at the LENSIC in Santa Fe. Great show!
What a great show!! Positive messages in his songs and very uplifting. He's a happy guy with a big smile. Loved every minute of the concert and would go see him again. He is a great showman.
Fantastic show! Sarah and her band were great. I absolutely LOVE her music. Rick Robertson was an awesome opening act, too.
Chevel's performance last night was stellar. Wonderful song choices and her voice is mesmerizing. So open and kind to everybody during the Meet and Greet reception signing merchandise and doing FB shots with all. Her father, Richard Shepherd, was also fun and thoroughly enjoyed the many antique Chevelles parked in front provided by the Santa Fe Antique car club.
The opening act was beyond awful. That’s coffee shop fodder. Jose came out and did what he always does best. Sing beautifully and play beautifully. He is sublime, his music is sublime. But we all could’ve done without the opening act. Two chord-change songs with cliche’ lyrics. Jose Gonzalez can hold it down alone.
