I feel like the boys were feeling it.
I was. Amazing energy, dope set, the Siren in Morro Bay is always a great venue.
After 30+ years these guys still play the shit out of those Instruments. If my hangover wasn't so bad I'd probably be in SB for the pre-party!!!!
Mad Caddies keep on Skankin
Such a great gift we got at last night’s KANEKOA Aloha Jam band gig at The Siren. These 4 guys bring some of our favorite songs to life with a twist of killer ukulele’s and strong cajon grooves that just make me smile. Jam Band lovers, this band is a must see!
Sixpence was great in this small seaside venue. Acoustics were a problem because of the large “standing-room-mostly” crowd muffling the sound from reaching us in the back, but otherwise the band shined and played excellently.
The staff were very efficient at getting people checked in, and they were very welcoming! Both the opening band, Bitterwater Road, and the main show, Braxton Keith, were such amazing performances. Overall, great venue and fantastic experience!!
I ve been to alot of punk shows. And they don't compare to a death metal show. And being GOATWHORE, come on man. Fucking awesome.
The last death metal show I went to was
NAPALM DEATH, mid 90s. Too far and in between, sad to say... Again
FUCKING AWESOME!!
Paul and his band are the best! His interaction with the audience is the amazing. You feel like you're sitting in his living room listening to his wonderful stories but then he sings a song and you think he's better than Elvis!
Superb Performances, how ever the venue hours were kinda lame, missed half the show commuting 3 hours away. Small area for a metal show at the siren in morro bay. Capacity was maybe 200 max at the stage, separate from the table and bar. Walked in on Midnight and caught Exciter, still had a good time though despite missing HellW/Wraith. Wouldve 5 starred had the show started at 7pm.
Epic! Mickey, Izzy and DJ Mackey put on an amazing show! Old Songs, and new Songs, all of them on point.
And the connection with the crowd was so electric with good vibes and positive energy that’s it felt personal to be part of.
I left an even bigger fan than I already was.
Leslie Stevens was great, second time seeing her….The Siren in Morro Bay is a nice bar/restaurant but it’s problematic because some of us were there to see the band and everyone else was there to drink, chit-chat, pick up, etc., and they had no regard for those of us there to see and listen to the bands….so yeah, Leslie Stevens was great, but I would think twice about coming to The Siren to enjoy music.
Walter Trout was excellent at the Siren ! We saw Walter a year and a half ago on the Keeping the Blues Alive cruise in Greece. He had a completely different band . Walter always puts on a great show and had great stories about his life trails and tribulations he’s a survivor and that’s Why he can play the Blues and Rock so well! 🎸🥁🎹⭐️😎
Great Show and Tallent by Taj Farrant, great opening and support by Nathan Bryce and the Loaded Dice. Great Venue! Nice surprise to stay over and learn about Morrow Bay!! Rock and Blues is Alive!!
This show rocked - my ears are still ringing! The Aquadolls were a super fun opener who I had never seen before. Save Ferris killed it, as usual. They were energetic and fun, and playing a great mix of songs. The Siren was an awesome venue for them!
This band was thru the roof!!These ladies brought the thunder.Heavy Metal with alot of melody, all were ferocious on their instruments..the two guitar players were killin it.I have to say these ladies were very easy on the eyes, the singer was just tearin it up...very crazy good voice...i didnt want the show to end as i was havin a great time.If you get the chance to see them...don't pass it up.
It was top notch. Dave and the Guilty Ones were on fire. They celebrated the last show of the tour with a greatest hits collection! The joy they expressed in their glances at each other were evidence of the great time they were having. Glad to have witnessed it.
Vincent, his band, and the opener, Logan Ledger, were all incredible. Down to earth people who deserve much success.
The venue was the perfect environment for such an event. The sound quality was impressive.
Would highly recommend that anyone who has the opportunity to see these guys perform do so.
First, the awesome - Ballyhoo was fantastic! I've followed them for years, and this was the first time I've seen them on the Central Coast. I hope they return! I always enjoy shows at The Siren - the whole experience (drinks, food, venue, music) is always solid. My one, big frustration was that I was not able to find a time table anywhere about when each act went on. I reached out to the event on FB, and got no response. I checked my ticket and bandsintown - no info. I tried calling The Siren and got no response. More transparency there would be helpful.
Great venue to see one of the best songwriting bands up close, and the band didn’t disappoint. No airs and graces; just a joyous, melodic and thoroughly enjoyable hoe down.
This was an amazing event! All of the members of the ALO band are accomplished musicians who obviously appreciate each other’s musical talents and expertise. They sincerely enjoy each other’s company and work together seamlessly to create musical magic. Zack, Lebo and Steve’s interaction with the appreciative crowd make everyone smile and feel as if they’re a part of a big happy family.
Dave Brogan’s command of his drums and cymbals is simply awe-inspiring and is a driving force for this band.
The Animal Liberation Orchestra, a.k.a. AOL, rocks and rules!
Best concert ever! Mike and band played longer than expected. I guess they were having as much fun as everyone in the audience. Fun seeing his son play dueling guitars with him too.
Thanks Mike Zito.
Great energy, great singing & cool stories in between the songs! Would love to see her play at Fremont in San Luis Obispo, because the acoustics would sound great!
