Aurora and her band were AMAZING! What a voice and show, I can only hope to see her again! The loss of a star though was for the venue. WAMU was not very ADA-friendly. You get put onto platforms that are far away from the stage and that are maybe a little over 1 foot off the ground. People would lean up against the platform railing and make it nearly impossible for seated ADA folk to see, and since security was doing little crowd control, my friend and I could only see bits and pieces of the show… 😔
There are not many artists who will get me out to WaMu Theater but Conan is one of them. He was amazing and beautiful, his voice, emotion and range so impressive!!! His connection to his fans is heartwarming. He puts in a great show! This venue, however, sucks and is my least favorite in Seattle….
Absolutely stunning, Omar and his enter crew put on incredible performance, hearing him sing live is such a wonderful experience and he sounds incredible! The crowd interactions are spot on, the whole concert is honestly such a unique time in space. Can not wait to see him live again, please yall go to the concert! 💞
Great show, great band, great crowd. They put on a fantastic show, the crowd gave a lot of energy. The band had great stage presence, easy to see they were enjoying their time on stage and the crowd was too. Definitely recommend going to a show, I was a casual listener, going to be adding their songs to some playlists after this show!
Had a great time watching these guys on stage, every song was electric. Wasn’t going to mosh but just had to stay in the pit the entire time because of the band’s energy. Third time seeing them and they have never disappointed. Fantastic theatrics as well wasn’t expecting it, very fun touch.
Definitely their best show they’ve ever done! They said that they think this tour was the best in their touring history, and I believe it! MIW has never disappointed me, and I’ve gone to many shows! So much work, though and creativity went into this show. Nothing to complain about.
I just started listening to Motionless last year after hearing Masterpiece and decided to see them in Seattle. I'm really glad I made the drive up to Seattle to see them. They really put in a lot of work to make the best show possible. I loved the touch of adding the Cherry Bombs dancers. I will be totally seeing them again.
Melanie did great but the crowd was one of the worst ive ever been too, from filming a girl who fainted to the venue staff not communicating and having us stay in the blazing heat for a longer period of time. Hopefully the next time I get to see her she opens up more showing and has a lower limit of those who can go because 9000 people in wamu is a bit ridiculous.
How can you go wrong with this band! The only thing I have to comment on is the venue. WAMU is not really suited for this type of show and it was so jam packed. Also, they ran out of alcohol by the time The Smile hit the stage.
But the music was so worth it.
Such an amazing show. The last time I saw MIW, was when Motionless In White and Beartooth came to Seattle in 2020. This is the first concert I’ve been to since, and I am not disappointed. These guys sure know how to put on a good show.
Black Veil Brides didn’t play much music off of their new album like Motionless In White did- which I loved. I want to hear the new stuff that they create, and not just the popular classics. I’ve heard those many times before. Other than that, great show!
Jauz absolutely killed it @Boo!Seattle! Dropped all the bangers 🔥 Plus he handled that person who threw that water bottle at him like a straight G 😤 my squad and I were so disappointed in that dude for representing us like that 😡 hope he knows my friends and I truly appreciate him for continuing the set after something like that. Memories I get to keep with my homies forever, thanks Jauz 🦈
Jack Harlow is the most smexy man alive. The mosh was somewhat rough to hangout in, it was shoulder to shoulder most of the show which is to be expected at a rap concert. Multiple fights broke out in the crowd over pushing to the front, though security handled it skillfully. Jack himself stopped the show multiple times to get people the medical help they needed which is very great to see from an artist so lots of respect to him. Other than having to navigate the rough crowd the show itself was incredible, Jack puts on an amazing performance. LOVE HIM!!!!!
Amazing show!! One of my favorite artists of all time and everyone there was super friendly including stuff and the fans. We all vibed out together and there was no pushing or shoving near me and I was towards the front in the middle. Overall really great experience and hope he comes back soon!
awesome show. would love to have seen gojira have a longer set. Sound was decent but a bit blown out on the low end. Venue fine, plenty of space. Parking was a complete nightmare thanks to Mariners and Sounders game at same time !!!
HOLY SHIT!!🔥 Last night was unforgettable, Subtronics is absolutely amazing and his production is outta this world dude😍 What a fucking night!!😁
Also Boogie T b2b Dirt Monkey , Doctor P b2b FuntCase , Level Up , Neonix , and Phonon were all SO good!!
I cried so hard during Kings and Lionheaartat that moment I felt I missed out on a huge blessing back in 2012. The whole crowd in front of the stage was covered iridescent blue and red hearts during most of the time. It was like some kind of love offering to someone, or something. I loved the birthday son and wishes to the piano player it was nice to see and feel part of their lives if just for that moment.
Thank you :)
The Soul Rebels always deliver an amazing big band performance. The people of Seattle were amazing also. The venue was lacking substance! It was in the WaMu theatre and it was just a large auditorium. The worst part of it was the alcohol barrier. If you wanted to drink you had to watch the show from behind this barrier. We went to the Anderson Paak show the night before and we watched the show from behind the barrier, it was fine, but for The Soul Rebels and Wu-Tang, we knew we had to be in the crowd to feel the energy!
Wu-Tang was amazing, the energy, the set list, all exceptional. I can not say the same for the WaMu Theater @ Century Link. It was by far and away the worst sound set up I have ever heard. They couldn’t hear their mics, they asked for the music to be adjusted but either it created feedback or the music had to be so loud that the inability to hear their own vocals caused them to be ahead or behind the beat. Some of the best parts were when they simply cut the music and rhymed without a backing track. Truly gifted MC’s. I wasn’t expecting a theater show, but it’s really just a section of the stadium sectioned off from the stadium, surrounded by drapes which absorb sound waves and ruin acoustics. I would have rather them perform anywhere even the Tacoma Dome, Seattle is closing the Showbox, but even an outside venue would have been better. Legends of hip-hop and their life long fans deserve better. Despite that they performed an amazing show. Wu-Tang Forever!
Loosen up people !! Pit was small but everyone there was energetic enough, if you weren’t close it was stiff people all around... band sounded good but no interaction with the crowd but also the crowd didn’t give any sort of feedback to the band. overall good for me
