I liked it, very positive.
Fun. Diverse. Vovtave are known for their 5 octave range, but there’s a diverse range of presentations. They drink their water too! Award winning quality. Jazz, classical, faith-based and just good old fun. So glad to see them reproduce their recordings live with great presence! Arranged all in house from their fearless leader. Great for families of all types. I will definitely go again!
Stella was wonderful. So good to hear a young artist keep the classics and jazz standards alive! Such a talent with an incredible voice. The Haugh Performing Arts Center in Glendora was a nice venue. Added bonus was getting to meet Stella after the show and have her sign her debut album. Thank you, Stella!
Finally got the chance to see them,it was awesome!
Fun show with awesome talent !
They were great, I loved how the lead singer interacted with the audience. We had a lot of fun, we would definitely see them again.
one of the best nights ever !! the show was so fun and silly and overall enjoyable for all ages !! i would definitely watch the show many many more times :]
Four-part harmonies are alive and well with the Manhattan Transfer! A great show celebrating their 50th Anniversary. See ‘em while you can!
I've seen Manhattan Transfer multiple times over the course of their career and they never disappoint. It was a wonderful show.
This was my first time seeing an act at the Haugh at Citrus College and I found the venue to be fabulous. Parking was a breeze. Entering into the facility and finding our seats was so easy. All of the staff members I came in contact with were extremely friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.
Show was good but the band was too loud, couldn’t hear the vocals. Made for a disappointing show.
As a choral/ensemble singer myself (#christianedition), I had discovered Voctave on YouTube and was excited to hear them live. They did not disappoint…to the contrary, last night’s concert was one of the finest musical experiences my wife and I have been privileged to witness. This caliber of singing, with incredible range, tone quality and blend is unheard of. In particular, the amazingly tight, gorgeous harmonies provided by director/arranger Jamey Rey, were executed exquisitely- they were a real gift that the group gave to the audience. Every singer was star quality, yet in unison as an ensemble, they were truly like one voice. The sound engineering was perfection through out the program and the musical selections themselves were a lovely balance of Disney, Broadway, lullabies and others that offered both enjoyable and often emotionally evocative moments. It was heartwarming to hear a little about each singer in Jamey’s introductions, offering the clearly engaged audience insight into what makes the group so special. They clearly LOVE what they do. In my estimation, the high point of the program was their encore: done up close and personal, without miked amplification. Spectacular…thanks Voctave!
I had never experienced their 'Holiday Party' before, and, as always, they were outstanding! The Haugh PAC is a perfect venue to see BBVD. Everyone was there, from under 5 to over 75, all sharing the same great time. So cool. I took a friend that didn't know who they were and we had a blast. She can't wait to see them again to hear all their non-Christmas songs. Thank you again BBVD for bringing it back to us. We'll carry it through the entire Holiday Season!
They were absolutely fantastic. I had THE BEST seat in the house. The Haugh is a great venue. I can't wait to see BBVD again, anywhere, soon. When they are onstage their music flows all around you, you can't help being swept up in it. A marvelous experience. One I shall never forget. Thank you Big Bad Voodoo Daddy!
