Nicole and her band are incredible. The album was incredible but there performances exceeded that. I took my wife for our anniversary and we were both pleased with the experience. I was very shy about it, but it was so nice getting to meet her, she took pictures with us and autographed the CD as well. I will definitely be attending concerts of hers in the future. She is an Incredible musician but even greater person.
This was a fantastic show. She is awesome singer and hopefully she will be available for other venues in New York City. I have been listening to her on YouTube - Wow , trying to get friends to drive to Philly to see her on July 26 & July 27. 👏👏👏👏
I've seen Mike Stern many times over the years and always sounds great and fluid. He's a living legend.
This was a spectacular event for my wife Brenda and I since we have followed Wendy after the voice tv season. She was even better in person having front row center stage seats! The highlight of the evening was that she went oof script and did Blue Bayou for us personally! It could not have been any more special. Thank you. Brenda and Alan Cole
As gracious and moving as Stella Cole’s online presence is, seeing her perform live takes you to a different dimension. She has a powerful, comforting voice and is able to transition fluidly within her skilled voice range. She brought good humor and a magnificent presence to the stage! Time flew as she performed on stage.
Stella Cole was accompanied by a three-piece jazz ensemble, making the live music experience even better. Special shout out to the pianist Michael Kanan whose skill, confidence, and cadence carried the night forward
Such a wonderful show last night! The ensemble played an hour and ¼ long piece from start to finish that encompassed ideas from every member of the group. So novel and so exhilarating. You have to see this show!
Phenomenal performance. Desare personifies the term “hands flying across the keyboard.” I’m looking forward to seeing him at Carnegie Hall in February 2025.
Amazing! Mike Stern puts on a tremendous show! Band was fantastic! The guy at the door tried to convince me that my tickets were fraudulent!
Show was great as expected. Like Mike said, "what a rhythm section!" Referring to Victor Wooten on bass and Dennis Chambers on the drums. All the cats on the stand were true to their virtuoso reputations. A special treat was to see Leonnie Stern (Mike's wife) on guitar. She held her own as well. I would have liked to hear her sing on more than one song, however. Next time I will by tickes for both shows.
Simply fantastic!!! Go see Richard Bona if you can. Not only world class musicians, but also very funny. The band was really good as well.
We had a fabulous time! Our favorite event while visiting NYC! An event you will love as the band was amazing! Will be back every time we are in the city.
The most amazing concert I’ve ever been too! Cindy is absolutely amazing and her band are top tier!!! I was blown away by their performance!!!
she and her band were amazing. such a great night of music. the bartender was friendly, cool and great at his job.
Tony DeSare was …and is ALWAYS …an excellent performer…gorgeous, smooth as silk voice…excellent piano playing…fantastic, jazzy repertoire of standards and his beautifully written originals…and interesting personal, musical stories he warmly shared with the audience:) His amazing guitarist is also always a soothing treat, and the talented bass player and amazing drummer rounded out the uplifting sound to sooth stressed out New Yorkers:) Also I just love Birdland as a venue, easily accessible, excellent talent and delicious food in cool, intimate, top notch “night out on the town” Manhattan atmosphere!
So, yeah, I liked it! Lol …I loved it!
Ricki, you still got it! Keep growing, exploring and playing music for all your long-time fans. THANK YOU!
Mike Stern and his band put on an excellent show.
Professional musicians getting down to some pure jazz , blues with a splash of rock.
The most amazing talent to come along in a generation. Emmet and his trio mates, Yasushi Nakamura and Kyle Poole show their jazz chops with new fresh compositions and take old standards to new and exciting heights. Every time you hear Emmet it’s as if you’re hearing him for the first time. He keeps it fresh and exciting and takes us on an unparalleled musical journey through his virtuosity and passion, keeping jazz alive.
Great venue, Birdland. The Elias/Johnson collaboration never disappoints. Almost totally Brazilian. I, personally, would have liked more of the American songbook. But that’s a small nit.
Ron Carter hasn’t lost his touch, and his quartet are all incredibly gifted and the collaboration, communication, and musicality on stage was truly a showcase of Ron et.al.
Sublime as usual. They played a short set, but covered highlights from their 40-year history. Life would be so much poorer without the Yellowjackets!
