It was a terrific show..I waited to see Peter Frampton for 40 plus years.. he's older.. has medical issues.. but he still has those eyes and his voice is exactly as i knew it to be. He's always going to be one of my all time favorite singers! The venue was very nice.. last time I was there it had long tables.. you had to look down the table to see the performer. They changed alot of things at that casino. But all in all.. it was a fabulous show... looking forward to seeing him again!
Daryl and his band did a crowd pleasing show even though he seemed to have problems with sound crew. He can't hit the high notes but still puts on impressive show with band. "I can't go for that " always a crowd pleaser. Daryl Hall can still do it at his age.
As always, Toad was FANTASTIC and put on a great show! The venue was lacking, unfortunately, and really wasn't a place I'd recommend to see a band live (Soaring Eagle Casino, Mt Pleasant, MI). Didn't stick around for Barenaked Ladies, but they're typically a great show, too.
Artist was amazing. Seating was abysmal. I was redirected from the Soaring Eagle site to purchase "available tickets" at an exorbitant upcharge, FOUR ROWS front and center up front by the stage were EMPTY during the entire show. All were marked as"sold" online.
This was unfair to the performers as well as us. R1 section on Soaring Eagle site showed us to the right of the stage, second row in front of the right ride of the stage.
In reality we were behind the sound pit and couldn't see much of anything. E e
Rob Thomas never fails to put on an amazing show. Smash mouth, & Degraw are very great artists too, But when I had a chance to see MB20 at a small venue again! I drove 3 Hours north, from downriver Michigan-Trenton, to do so AGAIN! Just saw them in Toledo, Ohio at Toledo zoo amphitheatre, and man they rock a crowd with there amazing music! Been a fan for 28 years! Keep being you Rob, your genuine self! Great words last night my legendary artist, God bless.
It's a beautiful, blessing you give the world with that voice!
Thank you, a fan,
Lurleen
1st time at Soaring Eagle outdoor venue, very cool. Huge stage with giant screen background of the band. Crystal clear resolution. Repeat, very cool. Lynyrd Skynrd put on another great show. We've seen them before and they still sound great. If your a fan go see them again and again. We will.
The band was fabulous!!! over the top!! My husband and I had a blast!! Great selection of all your songs! (......We did missed "don't go away mad").
I am so glad that you guys bring rock back to life and in such a way! your way! we were in exhilaration! I also liked to see a lot of young people in the crowd!
I liked the venue, very well organized. We were back in the grass and sound was great.
The only down side was all the trash left from people at the end, we seriously need somehow to rise awareness of it, it is disappointing.....
Thank you for an amazing show! :)
Godsmack put on a great show! Loved the set choice and the smaller audience. Went to the outdoor show at the same venue last year and this one was much better. The band was able to show us just how musically talented and versatile they are and the show felt much more personal. My husband is very critical of most rock shows since many bands just make noise. This show won him over and he has a new appreciation for the band. Hope they do more like this one in the future.
I saw the band in Bay City Mi. last August.what a show. NO WAY was I gonna miss them in Mt. Pleasant. I always liked Grand Funk, but the wrong band opened. Foghat was clearly the better band. Nothin against gfr, just foghat was better. Keep on trucking fellas!!! Foghat rates 5AAAA.
Frampton was phenomenal! Three solid hours of him & his superb band, no warm up act. His voice is as good or better than ever & his guitar playing is second to none. So glad we got to see this legend in person! Do not hesitate if you get the chance to see him.
This was a great show. I have never heard their opening act (I prevail) before, but now that I have, I am a fan. The only bad thing I can say about this concert is that it wasn't long enough, I guess the soaring eagle casino had a curfew.
Voyage was good with Hugo really taking on Steve Perry well including his movements. The singer for Double Vision seemed to be on something and was kind of erratic. He didn't sound like Lou or Kelly for that matter.
The food and drinks were horrible and not worth the time.
It was excellent The screen behind the band was awesome. The songs chosen were awesome . Everything was great. Megan and Scotty were great as well. The only complaint I have is with the arena itself. The two side screens should be larger.
The band themselves was FANTASTIC. Giving a 4 star due to the crappy crowd that came with the concert. Everyone was there for godsmack.. but no support for from ashes to new OR bullet. Not sure if I'd go to soaring eagle for a metal concert again.
Great set, Adams voice was awesome. He sang Saint Asonia songs, a couple Three Days Grace and the song "I Don't Care" he sang for Apocalyptica. It was great they were opening for The Resurrection Tour, but I was left wanting more. I can't wait to see them as the headliner! 🤘🤘
As always, Spectacular. I have never been disappointed by Alice in Chains. The only downside was it got very cold outside. Was also very impressed with Plush. And Bush was amazing!
What an incredible concert. I have been to several Country concerts in 2022 and this one was my favorite. Justin Moore did an incredible job opening up for Blake. And when Blake took the stage, he put on an incredible performance singing all kinds of his hits. There was a surprise guest, but I won’t reveal who that person is because I’d hate to ruin your surprise if you re lucky enough to catch Blake in concert. Such a wonderful evening here in God’s Country!
I'm 22 and I LOVE Collective Soul. My favorite band FOREVER. This was my 8th time seeing them and they only get BETTER. I think this was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. They're rock and roll gods up there on stage, especially Ed Roland who can work up any audience with his charisma, excessive energy, dancing, bright smiles and entertaining stories. He is the ultimate showman. Even at shows like these where majority of the audience was just there because of the casino concert perks and only knew "Shine", Ed was able to get these people up and standing, bopping their heads and smiling all around. The rest of the band is SUPER tight as well. Jesse is an absolutely professional rocker on the guitar, and he knows it. He stands in that "rock star" stance where his legs are bent and his guitar is flung high in the air- the audience can't help but be in awe at his shredding.
My favorite thing about Collective Soul is that they always try to do something special for the audience. At this show, they passed out SO many guitar picks to the audience, keeping everyone engaged! I got one before the show even started because the band knows me :) They also handed roses to everyone who walked up front at the end of the show. It was SO SWEET. I've never been handed a rose by a band before, let alone my favorite band! Will, their bassist, handed one to me and said my name! I pressed the rose and framed it along with my ticket, the guitar pick and a few other goodies from the show. They are so incredible. Plus they are the most humble southern gentlemen you will ever meet. I got to talk to Dean, their rhythm guitarist (Ed's brother) for one hour after the show in the casino! They are sooooo super chill, fun and cool guys to hang out with! Granted, they know me, but they are this sweet to everyone. Trust me! They are a band worth seeing and getting to know!
What a Damn treat this was! Intimate semi acoustic performance! If ever a guitar can make a bands sound it is the great Mark Kendall. Was able to meet him, get a picture and was given the pic he just played once bitten with right after they finished! One of those great nights your blessed to have! Romans 10:13!! Mitch sounded great on vocals and Audie, Scott and Michael rocked! Great rock show!! Anytime, anywhere!!
Soaring Eagle Casino has such an awesome stage, all the lights and Plenty of fire and kick ass, Shinedown came with it loud and hard, God Smack is as heavy as ever, lights Fire, melted my face and Sully's famous matching drum solos and bongos are Back! Great show!
