Herb Alpert has not lost a step. I honestly don't think he could have sounded any better if you saw him back in his prime. The whole band are phenomenal musicians, who each have their own innovative style. Their improvisations are literally out of this world. Herb Alpert's wife, who was with Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66 back in the day, has an amazing voice. If you get a chance to see this "legacy" act, don't miss it. It is well worth your time.

About The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts

Whitney Hall, A 2,377-seat, multipurpose concert facility, can accommodate everything from the most elaborate touring Broadway extravaganzas to the more modest requirements of a chamber music ensemble.
Bomhard Hall with 619 seats is an ideal facility for musical performances and smaller-scale dance and theater. It also serves as the home for Stage One, Louisville’s family theater. Steeply raked aisles provide a clear view of the stage from any seat.
The MeX is a simple "black box" with a maximum seating capacity of 139. A space as unique and versatile as the imaginative artists who perform upon its stage. It's has become a favourite venue for local arts and theater groups, providing a blank slate for original plays, innovative productions of the classics, music, dance and literary readings.
