I thought it was a good show, not a great show, most Pink Floyd tribute bands this year are celebrating the Pulse Tour 30 year anniversary, I had seen Australian Pink Floyd 2-3 years ago, I was disappointed then when they did an hour & 40 minute show at Thunder Valley Casino, I decided to see them again. APF didn't do many songs with heavy vocals, US & Them wasn't done this time like the last time, one sore point with me. The Bass player & lead vocalist shared lead vocals, the lead vocalist left the stage for several minutes at a time, this was very strange, this happened many times throughout the show.
The biggest weakness of Australian Pink Floyd (APF) is the lead vocals that goes along with the music, the vocals for a premium Pink Floyd tribute for what they charge is lacking, Brit Floyd's vocals & show is superior & the best Pink Floyd show going right now. The Mountain Winery is a nice over priced venue that was about 2/3 to 3/4 full, we had a good time at the show, it was over priced though & charge $25 for parking. The stage at Mountain is small & video screens used were not available for this show, hurting the experience.
I'm not willing to pay that again for APF again. They need a better David Gilmour vocalist, the lead vocalist singing Roger Waters does a good job, the change is necessary to keep demanding premium prices, not like what I paid to see Roger Waters in 2022 or Queen in 2023, these were once in a lifetime shows. I hope APF improves their vocals, I love Pink Floyd & this is one way to keep enjoying their music live.
I’ve been a berserker since 1988 Zakk’s first tour with ozzy anthrax and ozzy Oakland coliseum I’ve seen pride and glory and black label society probably about 9 times Zakk’s my favorite guitar player see him live he will blow your mind every time never disappoint showmanship guitar playing the best s.d.m.f forever !!!!!!
This was my first time at the winery. As for the walk up the hill...get over it!!!! It was not that bad.
This was the most beautiful place on this planet to see a concert. It was perfect! Definitely would come back.
Crowded House was of course awesome!
It was the perfect venue and concert!
If you have a chance to see a concert here, I definitely would do it!
10+*
The Mountain Winery was incredible; best venue I’ve ever seen a band play. Crowded House was my favorite band from the 80’s and Neil Finn sounded so good, and it was wonderful to see him perform with his son Liam. One of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you all!

Fantastic concert. The attention to detail in terms of reproducing what you hear on the actual Pink Floyd albums is outstanding, terrific performances from all musicians. The only weak point is the singing from the two male leads could be a little more
enthusiastic and edgier but they still did a fantastic job. Close your eyes and 95 % of the time you’ll think you’re at an actual Pink Floyd concert!!
What an incredible place to see a show! Yeah, it is quite the long and winding road up to the Winery but was well worth it. Views are magnificent. The sound was great in the bowl. The only thing I would recommend is bringing a seat cushion if you plan on sitting the whole time. The fold out seats are not super comfortable. I was dancing most of the show so it didn't bother me!
They still have IT! What a musical classic. These guys struck out on their own and continue to be an original and authentic band. Glad to see them together again!! Mountain Winery is the greatest venue! Such great seating, sound, lighting, stage. Everything is well run and clean. Great bands in a small atmosphere.
This show was excellent! Jason sounded amazing, as did the rest of his band. His voice was just like on all the recordings, smooth , hitting every note just right. We loved his set list, included 2 of our favorites, 24 Frames and Speed Trap Town. First time seeing Jason live and first time at this venue. Beautiful spot high up a hill, great views of Silicon Valley and we had a full moon that night. Perfect temperature. The drink special was "Cover me Up" after one of his popular songs, made with Jameson, lemon juice, honey and ginger ale. Even the opener, Adeem was funny and entertaining. Sounds like this show was far better than the next night at Hollywood Bowl, we got way more songs played at ours.
Jason did 3 for the encore, including, REM, The One I love, followed by Cast Iron Skillet.
The show exceeded our high expectations, would love to him again, and may go to another show at Mountain Winery, but its a bit of pain to get up there, one road up and down. We drove from Davis, but luckily got an airbnb nearby, as we would definitely not wanted to have driven home that night.
That was the best concert that my brother and ever went to. The groups were all headliner’s and a great selection, absolutely amazing night and the folks playing the instruments were excellent to.
Thank you all for a great night…We’re hoping you will make it back next year!
The show was great, and the venue it’s amazing. A beautiful amphitheater on the top of the hill. The sound was very good. The only disappointment was the show time: everywhere the start of the show was 8pm, but in reality the show started at 7.30pm, and we missed a little bit of it.
I was disappointed and honestly sorry for the money spent. I didn’t expect classical music concert and came to have fun, but it turned out to be primitive beyond expectations( both music and stage performance). There was nothing rebel about it. The band was good though.
We.love the music, but Daryl is losing the power of his voice. Daryl can sing the low registers but not the medium to high pitches. The concert was a disappointment. Love the guy and what he has shared. But live performances with Daryl Hall is not on my future calendar. UNLESS, he gets vocal support from his band or backup singers. THAT would be a game changer for the experience and not a shortfall.
Venue and views from it are great. As for the concert I enjoyed Elvis Costello and bands performance but was disappointed in Daryl Hall. It seem uninspired and unorganized with confusion on his part as to what the were playing next. Hope it was because it was on Monday.
This was my first Seal concert. He is so beautiful all around and his voice is impeccable. It's a beautiful venue although safe to say we were all freezing including Seal himself but he had a positive attitude and it just made the night warm and special. Definitely recommend and would love to see him again. Wish I could give that man a hug
I'd been trying for years to see this guy and could never make it due to conflicts, but I finally got to see him. We paid a pretty penny for our tickets, and when he first started singing, my husband and I both looked at each other because we thought the same thing: "Uh oh, he's lost it." He sounded kinda frail like many older singers start sounding as they age, but as he warmed up some, about halfway through the show, we could hear the Kenny Loggins we used to know. By the end of the show, he was back! Great energy, great sound and sweet stories. We very much enjoyed his show and were very happy we went. We even bought merch afterwards, and my husband never buys merch.
Kenny was awesome! He performed great, he seemed to have a ton of energy and his band didn’t disappoint! He’s had an awesome career and I’m sad to see him retire but I get it! My wife and I were celebrating 34 years together and couldn't have asked for a better night out; unforgettable!! The venue was beautiful, staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner was good but a bit overpriced. But definitely a 5 of 5; Kenny rocked it; best wishes to him!!!
So Happy happy happy to see Kenny Wayne Shepherd and band again!! It's been 3 years and that's just too long. Kenny was on fire last night! Just shredding!! Loved it ! Samantha Fish was fabulous. We have waited a long time to see her and she did not disappoint. The venue is a disappointment but not the bands!!
Mountain Winery is a lovely outdoor venue in the hills of Saratoga, perfect for an intimate concert like this was, after enjoying quality food and wine. The show included 14 classics and one new song "I won't stop loving you" from Graham's side project "G and the Jolly Cucumbers" https://www.gandthejollycucumbers.com
Alonzo Moore took the time to walk around the bowl to meet fans and say hello, or give a hug! I was lucky enough to get a hug and a sweet cheek kiss! Once the band got on stage everyone was out of their seats dancing! Amazing entertainers and musicians!! Love, love, love it!!!! Can’t wait to see them again!
