IT… WAS… AMAZING! My first Metal Concert, it was excellent. The opening acts (Carcass and Cannibal Corpse) did not disappoint. The sound was good and the lights were awesome. Meshuggah knows how to put on a show with insurmountable force, precision, and did it effortlessly. Jens Kidman’s voice is so powerful and always compliments the instrumentals from the colossal sounds of the guitars and drums. It is practically a religious experience. The venue was very well kept and organized, and even though my chain was not allowed, they accommodated me with holding it in coat check without fee. I will forever remember this show and the venue it took place at. MESHUGGAH. ONE SYLLABLE. ONE VOWEL AHHHHHHHH!!!
BRUTAL. Just BRUTAL.
Meshuggah is one of my favorite bands and they did not disappoint. From the moment they stepped on stage to their finale, everything was insanely awesome. Their set was BRUTAL, their stage presence was BRUTAL, their heaviness was BRUTAL, the staff at Masonic were BRUTAL, the mosh pits were BRUTAL.......you get my drift.
The only thing that wasn't BRUTAL was the parking situation. I paid for a parking pass at the venue but I still wasn't allowed in because it was full. I must have driven around San Francisco for almost an hour trying to find a spot which made me miss Cannibal Corpse unfortunately. But at least I got to see Meshuggah tear up the city from the ground up! It was well worth it.
STAY METAL MY FRIENDS 🤘🤘💀💀
It was ok. Key songs were truncated, half the time the stage light aimed at the audience were blinding, and there just seemed a lack of energy.
I know I should not compare them to the Sisters of Mercy I saw when we were all 30 years younger, but it's hard not to.
I'm glad I went, but this will be the last time
Venue and organization was great.
It was extremely kick-ass that I got 2 see them 4 the final time live & it happened on Cone's Birthday Which was Very coool!!!!,I got 2 mosh & crowsurf as they Performed Sooo many songs that included new 1s off of their final album "heaven & hell" & The interrupters were Awesome as well which happened 2 be my 1st time seeing them live!!!!
The show was a 10 ! The mixture of new and classic songs was spot on.
I have been a huge Pretender’s fan forever. The music has always resonated with me and many songs are in my top 25. And, I love the core of the band which is to rock n roll and kick some ass.
Thank you for enhancing my life !
I've seen much better Babymetal shows (Warfield for example). They had a white light on stage that would periodically illuminate and it was blinding. They also should have done more with the screen behind them, how they used it paled in comparison to Dethklok, who provided a lot of content to show on the screen.
One of, if not THE best concert I’ve ever been to! Aqua are so good to their fans, they made me feel really special in the meet and greet and interacted with me throughout the show too! All of your favorite hits with some awesome remixes. I’m still on a high 2 days after! Dont miss this show!
Aqua brought so much energy to the stage! They were so connected to the crowd and music it made the experience so memorable for everyone. The way they updated the arrangements for some of their songs but still kept the same sound was so surprising to hear as well. Hopefully they will come back to the states again.
Well, I’m a die hard Liz Phair fan from the early 90’s and, to me, it seemed like she didn’t take the time to re-learn her guitar parts on her own songs and chose to close out her finale with that song that was a big hit of hers - don’t know it because I stopped listening after “white chocolate space egg” oh, uncle alverez who’s portrait is in the hall… anywho, glad she is having a well earned and deserved victory lap - just wish there was still some of her signature girly sound grit still in her performance… exile changed my life 30 years ago and was why I started writing songs… and helped me through my recent divorce. There is so much truth in her early work
Great venue. Set up nicely. BLG brought a ton of energy. Blended songs together to play alot of their catalog plus a few covers. Great interaction either the fans which couldn't have been easy on a day their bus broke down and put them behind with no sound check... overall we had an incredible experience
I felt as though I was sitting in the living room getting reacquainted with an old friend. One who also played the guitar exceptionally well. Frampton played tunes I have never heard live before. Tunes that he wanted to dust off and share once more within the live element. He still can rock out, yet he still rivets your attention in the quieter moments. One of the best set lists I've seen him perform.
The show was dedicated to Sinead O'Connor who was announced deceased earlier in the day.
SETLIST:
Little Earthquakes [fitting song for San Francisco]
Crucify
Ocean to Ocean
Girl
Bells for Her
Flicker
I Am Stretched On Your Grave (Sinead O'Connor cover)
Three Babies (Sinead O'Connor Cover)
Purple People
Siren
Mother Revolution
Spring Haze
Take to the Sky with I Fell the Earth Move (cover)
God (encore)
Waitress (encore)
The venue crew didn’t seem to know what the heck was going on especially with VIP but both bands were fantastic!! Such high energy, so much crowd interaction with the artists!! I’m sorry but Pierre is by far the best frontman I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to a lot of concerts/festivals. And honestly Deryck was right there with him!!
Absolutely killer show. I was super excited to see Magnolia Park live since they're based on the other side of the country, and they did not disappoint. I was a little bummed that they didn't play my favorite song of theirs but being the opening act they didn't have a ton of time and they played their most popular songs (and one well-known cover that was a massive crowd pleaser) so that's understandable. Plus I got a shirt that's sold out on their merch site that I had been wanting so it was a great night all around.
I had my doubts all the way to the day of because it was the KMEL House of Soul concert, not just SiR. I put that aside and made the trip and it was absolutely worth it. SiR put on an amazing set and based on crowd reaction, you could tell that we were all there for him. I can’t wait to see him live again!!
I didn’t get front row I got balcony 5th row but the concert was amazing. I feel like everyone should have a chance to go. This was my first ever concert for them and ever and I almost cried 😂 because they are my idols. They always have good energy when they perform and everyone should experience it. Like I’m a quiet person and when I listen to them, I don’t CARE if anyone is looking. I will scream their lyrics out. And that’s what I did at the concert . And next year if they come back to SAN FRANCISCO, I’m already saving up for M&G because I gotta meet my idols.
So Are The Fromt Row Tickeys General admission Like We Have To Stand In
I specifically went to see blackbear but Harry Hudson was one of the opening artists and to be honest, the dude got me in my feelings. I’m really into his songs now. He did so well. After his performance I saw him right behind me watching blackbear play and of course I took a picture. He’s a great artist and his guitarist did amazing (loved the neon green electric guitar). I also started scrolling through his Instagram and found out that he had cancer five years ago so congrats to him for recovering from that.
It was amazing first kpop concert their one of those artists that they sound just as amazing as the ablum. I really hope they come again and their so sweet and funny. And they tried really hard talking to the audience in english even if they knew very little or if it was in broken english for the fans . I hope they come again soon.
This rating is strictly based on Korn's performance and nothing else. It would be unfair of me to dock stars for things that are completely out of their control.
There's nothing like hearing 3,400 voices all screaming the same lyrics together. The setlist was fantastic, unlike any of the others they've played in the last decade or so. I'm glad I didn't miss it.
Killer crowd and of course a great set by Korn. Venue staff did a great job letting people mosh and crowd surf, but were a little overzealous keeping folks out of the front section. I understand the safety need of course, but at times it seemed silly. First time I've been to a rock show at this venue, but was not disappointed. Acoustics were excellent and overall I liked it better than fox/Warfield/Orpheum. My only complaint is that there was just the one long merch line instead of a couple tables around.
