I sat in the front row and was treated to an absolutely wonderful concert. Karla is a fantastic songwriter and even to this day as a such a beautiful voice. I love how she interspersed stories of how she started as a young singer in LA and other stories about fellow musicians. It was a beautiful night.
Venue is great. Band is great but Lyles voice was quite raspy and breaking likely due to the long tour and this being his last show on the tour.
Amazing to see a person of 91 perform with boundless energy. However the lyrics were weak and redundant. But that's just the way the old blues songs tend to be.
He was absolutely awesome as usual! Love how each series is always changed up and new. But of course have to have some of the classic favorites. ❤️👍
The show was great. I ran into Conrad and and Louie this morning at the at the hotel. They are very outgoing people. I've known Louie since my East LA days. 40 years plus these guys are the best. Very very gentleman. Like they'll take a minute to talk to you, which is great
I believe it was a full house! I think it is her first time to Tucson! I hope she comes back again. Her dialogue was witty and fast!! I laughed so hard I was crying with joy!
One of the best concerts I have ever been to. The sound quality was on pointe. The banter with the audience was interesting and funny and engaging. Harmony was beyond angelic. Definitely want to see them again
Absolutely THE best!! Every bit the hype and they delivered! Brad's buds really warmed up the audience to get the belly muscles loose! They will be part of my mainstay for years to come! If you let a chance get past....start kicking yer ass now....like Jesus in a narwhol pool with cephalopods!
Small, clean venue downtown Tucson. Event was very organized and not a bad seat in the house. Night Ranger performed on time and delivered a super high energy show that rocked the house for an hour and a half straight. Plenty of parking within 1/4 mile of the venue and plenty to eat and drink downtown as well.
Excellent concert 🎶 high energy,fun & uplifting.
Especially appreciated the band for starting on time & giving an incredible show for 2 1/2 hrs plus with no intermission ‼️
Thank you 🙏
Years ago we were introduced to Jake Shimabakuro music. We considered him a most accomplished musician. Not only is he a most talented musician, he is the kindest most humble man. He truly embodies the Aloha Spirit and brings comfort and joy to so many…through his music and his acts of kindness. We have been attending Jake’s concerts for several years and he is now accompanied by bassist Jackson Waldhoff, who is also an amazing musician and so incredibly humble as well as the talented singer and musician Justin Kawika Young. They are such an incredible ensemble of artists. The Fox Tucson Theatre is an intimate and lovely venue. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
He was terrific ‼️ although I had a hard time understanding the words because the volume was too high . Possibly being in the second row wasn’t a wise choice of seats 😱
Melissa & her band are on FIRE 🔥 w: the opening week #SummerTour2023 !! This sold out show was fabulous at the beautiful historic Fox Theatre 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Terrific performers but TOO LOUD! The great voices and the work of the uber talented players of all the instruments were transformed into noise. What is wrong with the sound people!? Rumours is one of the best albums of all times but too little of the music could be fully appreciated because of the volume. Instead of a 10 on every sound, maybe try an 8.
It was a B-. Could've been an A+ with all the talent on the stage.
Excellent show. Smaller, intimate venue that allowed Jakob and the band to interact with the audience. Jakob even overruled the Security who were forcing fans to quit taking pictures or recording, inviting everyone to do so and even to come up to and crowd the stage.
How sweet Lyle picked T-town for his first date on a super-ambitious summer tour! Fifteen men on the stage for a night I won't soon forget, including legends Lee Sklar and Russ Kunkel on bass and drums. Loved songs from the new album including "the bacon song" Pig Meat Man, Her Loving Man aka The Queen of Know, and Pants is Overrated.
We also got That's Right (You're Not From Texas), Penguins, If I Had a Boat and She's No Lady.
Luke Bulla on violin was wonderful again (he played with the band when we saw them at the Fox in 2019) and he did a solo picking number perhaps marred a bit by feedback. Nothing is perfect, though acoustics in the great Fox Theater are SO fine!
Long live Lyle Lovett and his Large Band!
Outstanding! We have been seeing Chris Botti for about 20 years, and every time is a delight. His shows are always fresh, and his talent and love of performing are always electrifying. Wow. Just Wow. He never disappoints!
The show was amazing! They sound better in person! They are so talented! The venue was perfect and the lighting just added to the experience!
Kansas lost might in Tucson Az was FANTASTIC!
They sound better than ever! Phil & Richard (the two original band members remaining) have really hit a home run with this group of extremely talented musicians! I can't find the words of praise high enough for this band. And the cherry on top, their lead singer Ronnie
Platt, can sing the heck out of all the old & new songs... almost as good as Steve Walsh originally recorded them!
can sing the heck out
It was great! The Fox is a wonderful venue. If I claim to be a wise man, then it surely means that I don't know! Kansas knows that we are mearly Dust in the Wind.
