The Old Church Concert Hall

Trace is a superb and unique guitarist and very charming as an entertainer. The Old Church venue was a perfect place to see him and we will be back.

THIS WAS INCREDIBLE. The venue keeps getting better each season. Mr Gripper showed me what beyond beyond next level playing looks like, inspiring for sure.🙏🏼

I should have posted this long ago! Jean-Michel is a remarkable musician, he and his 3 accomplice.. all so sweet and incredible talents on their own. This show was incredible and will be remember for all time for my son and our family. After the show Jean-Michel and the rest of musicians came out to do a meet and greet. To my sons surprise (11yo), Jean-Michel walked up to my son and said, "you must be the youngest person here, do you enjoy this kind of music?" To which my son replied, "yes, I am learning to play the cello".. Jean-Michel then asked my son to walk and talk with him as they made their way to the merchandising table. There, Jean-Michel grabbed a copy of (Audabades) sheet music book, signed it and handed it to my son. All the other musicians also signed the book with inspirational notations. Truly an amazing moment for anyone and who got to witness it. My son was astonished and has now taken up the piano. He has been truly inspired. Next time Jean-Michel comes to town, we are sure to go again. Audabades is an incredible album. Contemporary/ classical/ beautiful. Thank you Jean-Michel for inspiring my son. 🙏

Incredible harmonies. Emily has an amazing voice and is a great songwriter. First rate show and venue.

So good. The opening harpist was unique and haunting. Eydis is amazingly talented. And her comments between songs were warm and enjoyable. Highly recommend this artist from Iceland!

I flew up to Portand from California to see Kris Allen and his band perform. I have always loved his shows. He is so humble and friendly and has a fantastic voice. The Old Church Concert Hall has unbelievable acoustics. Thank you Kris for coming to the West Coast! We missed you in this part of the country.

Heather was great as usual! I had not previously heard of the duo of High Tea, an Indie Folk band consisting of Isabella DeHerdt and Isaac Eliot. Their vocal harmonies between them was amazing and the acoustics of The Old Church Concert Hall was perfect for this type of performance. Heather mostly sang her newer material but included some older favorites like Dirt and Stardust, Let Me Stay, Enigma and the Joni Mitchell cover Woodstock. It was pure magic!

It was amazing! I wish I could have witnessed it in person but streaming it was well worth it! I loved the song arrangements, the venue was kick ass, the addition of the bass was incredible. I loved every minute of it 🖤

Simrit and band outdid any of my expectations. I listen to her at home consistently. In person and in The Old Church was so much more.

Jordan seems to be a very likable person as well as a first rate musician. I've seen him play with Dream Theater several times, but on his own doing whatever he wants, he is phenomenal! The venue had a working pipe organ on which Jordan played some hauntingly beautiful music which was impromptu, and 'just because he could'. His performance included many styles; jazz, classical, rock and prog metal, and he surprised with a piece he wrote on guitar after having played the instrument (for one whole month)! What can I say - he's a prodigy, and whatever he plays sounds incredible. Jordan was even gracious enough to stick around after the show to chat with fans and sign autographs, even though I believe it was unplanned. An awesome performance, and I look forward to seeing another solo show!

I loved the Mark Barlow, he was great. My only problem was that Gable price was too darn loud. And John didn’t play Heart won’t Stop.

It was so fantastic to finally see Sarah Harmer live after being such a fan for some time. Great band, great songs & great night!

They did not disappoint! I hope that Portland was represented by our spirit and love for these two. I love Janis Joplin, Bette Midler, Cher, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, & Melissa Etheridge. I’m happy to say that Sarah Potenza and Katie Kaden have made my list. I can die a happy woman! By the way, the show surpassed all of my hopes and comparisons. A few of their own written songs brought me and my adult daughters to tears.

Only a few people can say that they truly have natural talent. Liz longley is one of those people. Her talent is seen, felt, and heard. A true musician, whose voice is accompanied by melodious tunes and expertly written lyrics. The music, like Liz, is down to earth, complete, and soulfully entertaining. The songs can pull you in emotionally and leave you feeling connected to something greater than yourself. Seeing her perform in person at the old church concert hall was a priceless experience. The vocals and venue left everyone in the room in awe and amazement. If there is ever an opportunity for you to see such an astounding artist, don't hesitate, just go. The atmosphere created at one of her shows is comparable to any of life's greatest moments. The birth of a child, or a proposal from the one you love. Her ballads help each individual's imagination increase in vividness and life. Liz truly has an angelic gift. And I am truly glad to have spent the time to hear her in person at the old Church concert Hall in Portland, Oregon on October 16th.

Worth the wait! She'll melt your heart with her lyrics and stir your soul with her incredible dynamic vocals. This venue was made for her, and couldn't have been more perfect. Liz is gracious and kind post show so be sure to thank her afterwards, she'll love it!

It had been years since I was at the Old Church and forgot how wonderful the acoustics are. Although when you have such talent as Naomi it probably wouldn’t of matter. I am so glad my sister introduced me to her music and I look forward to catching another concert of hers!

Absolutely amazing! I cried so hard, because of the simple beauty, and sheer eloquence, of his gifts. His performance touched me deeply, and I cannot wait until the new album is released. Thank you, Griffin! Anyone who gets a chance to see him, SHOULD!
