Well, I had big expectations for this concert, it was alright, but the sound that was pushing out wasn`t that good from my advantage point in the Lounge row B. Not just the music, but the vocals as well, for the amount I was charged.

Absolutely captivating, it brought me to tears. The sound passed through you and wove its spell around you. We were lucky to get a glimpse of the new album without sacrificing the songs we have been waiting years to see. An incredibly excited audience at the news they want to return to Australia, but until then the memories of this concert will live with love in this fans heart
It’s like a Viking war cry, beautifully haunting harmonies , with natural historical instruments
it was truly mesmerising soul moving music, thanks mum 😘 for sharing your love of Norse music with me. It’s a night l will never forget
Powerful, incredible show with a great mix of well-loved and new songs. Audience felt as one, all mesmerised and fully engaged with the music. Loved hearing the instruments live and witnessing the energy and authenticity of Einar, Lindy-Fay et al. Can’t wait to see them live again!
Wednesday 6th November. A night l will never forget. EIVOR & HEILUNG. Acknowledging & embracing the culture of the land. Grounding, uplifting & cleansing. I truly feel blessed to have been in the room with all who were there. Thank you EIVOR & HEILUNG for sharing what you clearly love doing.⚔️🛡️🔥🛡️⚔️
My second time seeing Heilung live and I'll definitely be seeing them again. Another amazing show, incorporating first nations people and cultural significance into all of their performances is wonderful to witness. An extremely positive vibe in the room with music that brings people together.
Another superb performance! My fourth time seeing DSE and they keep getting better. Once again, they took me back to the best years of Dire Straits in the mid 80’s. I truly felt like I was back there. I shed a tear because they made me feel so happy. Thank you and please come back to Australia very soon.
Steve Vai is one of the best out there. His playing always fills out all by musical space, is always interesting, creative, technical and with great rock feel. Was a great concert, filled with the humour and audience call, response that Steve is known for,. Definitely would see him again
Ove seen her more tim3s than I can count, including twice on this tour already. Missy is captivating, warm, honest and hearing her live is an honour and a privilege. I guarantee she will not disappoint.
Missy and the band were amazing! A really considered set with very generous story telling.
It would have been nice to encourage audience members to just enjoy the moment and not record parts of the show on their phones. The phone lights screens were distracting for others around them.
The lighting of the show was an attack on the eyes in the first half with strong lights directed into the audience and harsh transitions between songs.
This was in the top 3 concerts I have attended in my life and I have attended hundreds, so that says a lot !!! Due to the opening act being cancelled, we were treated to an extra long 2.5 hour session but time just flew by as we were all mesmerised by the magic of Derek Trucks guitaring, Susan Tedeschis amazing voice and the absolutely mind blowing talented horn section, keyboard player, drummers and backing singers. Just one word - WOW !!!!
Amazing! The show was like being inside Chet Faker's bedroom as he went from the keyboard to mixer and back again. He sat down while he sang and even the guitarists that came in mid way, sat on the floor. It was a chill show. All of the songs were reworked and extended, so you didn't quite know what was coming up next. While a visualiser played for each song, which really added emotional depth and interest. Chet Faker is truly a master performer and singer/songwriter. He sang he each song beautifully. While every song was done so well, my favourite would have to be the new one - Something Like This. Really great remix.
The guy can perform and rock an audience. Seen him solo and in his band many times - pitch perfect voice and musically brilliant and super talented. Intimate gig which was so great to witness. Thank you Chris!
Third Oils gig this year for me and this was the best so far. Although Wednesday night might top it, and the final at the Horden in Sydney hopefully ices the cake. Was a great set list on this night and a rousing call for an encore was rewarded. Oiiiiiiiaaaaaalllzzzzz.
From beginning to end it was non stop happy vibes, everyone singing along and dancing to every beat.
The energy and emotion that goes into each performance was mind blowing. Amazing show Jungle you rocked the roof off the Palais
It was great to finally see Xavier play live again after such a long wait his new album is amazing as all his work is , love you Xavier keep writing beautiful songs thanks , Liz
Jon brought his “A” game once again to the Palais Theatre in Melbourne this week.
A continual crowd favourite who shares his LOVE of music and touches everyone !
A sensational playlist from his NOISEWORKS days and as a former lead singer of INXS following the passing of Michael Hutchence.
Jon’s powerful voice is arguably one of Australia’s finest and a fantastic frontman to his tight Band! The capacity crowd of (approx 3,000) rocked on and their enthusiastic singing and applause left nothing at home. 👏🏻👏🏻🎶🎶🎶
Jon Stevens always delivers an awesome performance. Great supporting act from The Black Sorrows. The venue is great. We were on the upper balcony. I'm looking forward to smaller venues where I can get up close to the stage and really see Jon's passionate expressions.
I didnt realise it would be about 6 six artists all in one show, I thought it was just Leo Sayer. Leo was great. But, unfortunately, for him, lol, he comes second to John Paul Young, who was excellent. I would say 'I grew up with JPY', as 'they' say. John, seems he has always been there, both in my youth and adult times. Leo was in my youth. The overall show was wonderful. I went on the 'spare of the moment'. 'Covid fatigue', life fatigue, but this was sure a 'pick me up' show. Kate Cebrano had equipment glitches but that didnt seem to stop the crowd from spurring her on and having a good time. 😍 😁 🙂 😆 Wonderful. 👌 👌
For a man who hasn’t been well this was a fantastic show; great (touching) new tracks blended with his classics.
My dad was disappointed he missed seeing JP the last time he was in Melbourne and expected he’d missed his chance, especially knowing his health issues.
It was a special night!
