The Rolling Stones really rocked in Santa Clara yesterday. Like a fine wine they just get better with age. I will be savoring the memory of the sweet sounds of Keith Richard’s guitar for days. I highly recommend you partake in any opportunity to see them live:)
Possibly the best concert I have seen. Brilliant performance of a long song set. They perform with incredible energy and it is obvious that they are enjoying what they are doing. 5 stars for the Stones. Two stars for Levi’s Stadium. Parking setup is pathetic, traffic flow poor, stadium was not configured for the audience’s best viewing.
Mick still has it. Pretty amazing. They don’t play all their hits, but was an impressive show. They played straight, no talking to the crowd, no intermission, just 2+ hours of rock and roll.
Luke Combs was phenomenal! Saw him both nights and loved every second! 10out of 10 would recommend and see again!!!!!!
I give him five stars he always rock it out. I love his music his voice his stage presence. I would recommend him 110%
Ed Sheeran was amazing. And this made me realize GA for floor with eras tour could’ve had a better view at Levi’s than the seating they had. You could move around so you could always see.
Ed Sheeran Concert Review- Levi Stadium, Santa Clara, CA Sept 16, 2023 (4.5 stars)
Pre concert. Similar to Taylor Swift the merchandise van was outside in the stadium lot. We stood in line for an hour at 4:30pm, one half hour less than Taylor Swift. There were reports of Ed himself appearing at the van at 1:30pm and performing one of his new songs for those waiting to buy his merchandise before the show.
The concert started on time with opening British act Maisie Peters, who told the audience she had just released her second album. She performed for 30 minutes, with a 30 minute pause between acts. The second warm up act was RUSS, a rap artist that performed for 45 minutes. Sorry, not into rap. His songs about how tired he is of texting his girlfriend, and slow driving were maddening in repetition. He rejoined later to perform one of his songs with Ed later.
Ed started at 8:15 and ended his single encore at about 10:30.
The thing that distinguished this performance was how much of Ed’s back we saw. The only place Ed was stationary while singing was facing the other half of the stadium (west). When he faced the rest of the stadium he would step on a conveyer belt which would double time him in a circle until he got back to his original position. So it was very, very difficult to get a photo of someone in constant motion when you did see his face. Other artists facing the round give all audiences some song face time, entire song face time, not fractions.
The second thing that was different about this show was a back-up band during some songs. The band was split up into four corners of the stage…drums, keyboards, and two guitars….to give some sort of surround sound I would think. Ed Sheeran had previously made a name for himself as a one man show with rhythm machine.
The third thing that was different about this show was the insertion of songs a lot of the fans did not know throughout the show. Made it difficult for Ed to build momentum with his fan b
Unlike most concerts we attend, this one was an all afternoon/evening event and consisted of three parts: (1) the pre-concert lines, (2) the opening acts, and (3) the main event- Taylor Swift. The main even was nothing short of outstanding….read on.
The Pre-Concert Lines- Merchandise for the concert opened at 2:00pm. We arrived at around 2:15pm and waited for one hour and fifteen minutes before being served. This was set in the parking lot of the venue. They also sold merchandise inside the ticket gates, but given the demand and experience with other events there was risk of missing part of the event itself by doing so. After the merchandise, the line to enter the event took another hour after the gates opened at 4:30pm. At the end of that experience they gave you a wrist band that turned lights off and on during the concert throughout the stadium in which more than 50,000 fans were all trying to get in at once. The lights on the wrist band would go off depending on where you were seated. The third line was for food and beverage. After the first two lines the best offerings had really, really long lines. We have missed opening songs by main event performers by choosing food lines that were too long. One of the shortest lines was for cheesesteaks, so we got those…..what they really were was cheap nacho cheese sauce with canned bean-less chile on a hot dog bun…..for $16 each.
Opening acts: The opening acts reflected the bi polar nature of Taylor herself, the unhappy, but passionate romantic; and then the hell-bent woman who is determined to set right the personal relationship wrongs in her life. So there were two opening acts: (1) Tracie Abrams, and (2) HIAM. Tracie Abrams took the stage at about 6:25pm and sang for roughly 30 minutes. She sang mostly moody, passionate, melancholy songs such as “I’m Sorry.” (2) The second act, HIAM which is the Hebrew word for “life” was a three sister band whose songs sounded like they were all about how angry they were
Perfect. Prob would avoid floor seats if I was able to go again unless they were in first 5 rows.
The concert was truly excellent! Everything I enjoyed from him over the years, he sang, and even surprised me with a few old classics. He ends on a perfect note, and while we will miss his voice in person, he left us with a great legacy. Live On, Sir Reg, and Forever Traverse the Yellow Brick Road!
I was so touched by his genuine farewell.
many of his songs took me back to the first time I heard them. Your song, someone change my life tonight, Benny and the Jets
and others. This was my third time experiencing Sir Elton in concert, It was especially poignant because my daughter, 41, was with me. She knows all the songs since she grew up with me playing my LP's
and she was decked out to the max in sequins. Singing and dancing s/p hip replacement.
. When she sat down , I had to say "oh you need a break?" We loved it. Section 2 down in front and totally enjoyed the performance. A few times, tears but mostly pure joy! Today I'm icing my body as I danced all night and need new ones, but nothing could keep me down. Elton, thank you for your incredible talent and sharing it with the world. You have earned a break to spend with your beloved family. I saw you in Sacramento twice and each time was magical. Wishing you well, happiness and joy as you spend time with your family. Your career has been extraordinary. I am inspired to start my 4 year old grand son taking piano lessons. We love you Elton! Thank you with all my ❤️!

They had a really cool set with great visuals. For this tour they play a different setlist every night. I thought they had a really good mix of older and newer songs. These guys are super high energy and a great band to see live if you like their music.
The concert was good. It was well organized and Beck was fenomenal. Some classic songs from RHCP were missing like the Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie, Under the bridge, among others.
Beck was amazing and Red Hot Chili Peppers rocked that place! The food prices are a 2 star!! We paid $95 for 3 pizzas, 2 beers, 1 soda and 1 bottle of water..
Best concert I’ve seen in years! They were tight, the song choices were great, they looked like they were having fun, I know the crowd was!
These guys are still full of energy, sound great and put on a wonderful show. My only complaint is that it was too short.
Show was amazing! We sat far but we got a beautiful view of the city and the show. The only bad thing was the disorganized parking.
HER did amazing though the sound tech really needed to balance out the microphones better! Would definitely watch her again. Wish she had a longer set!
