Grand Theatre

Absolutely great, loved them the first time I heard them on the radio. Then loved them on you tube . But to see them live was fantastic. Great night 11 out of 10

Excellent musicians faithfully recreating Eagles classics. The band built a great rapport with the audience. The was one downside. Because the Eagles didn't write enough well know songs to fill a two hour show there were a lot of songs which were not familiar. In particular the Illegal Eagles played Hotel California for the encore ( which went down very well ) and then played another song, which none of the friends I was with had ever heard of, as the last song of the show. This was bit of an anticlimax. There is no easy answer to this problem but the song selection and running order needs careful thought. If you are a hardcore Eagles fan with every song they recorded this issue won't be a problem. I'm going to see the whats left of the original Eagles next month. I note that they have solved this problem by having a support act.

As usual, the Illegal Eagles put on a great show that was well-received by the capacity crowd. If you enjoy the music of the original Eagles, you will enjoy this very talented group of multi-instrumentalists with great vocals. It's the fourth time I have seen them at the Blackpool Grand Theatre so, to summarise, a great concert in a magnificent theatre.

Amazing show, the more we see this band the better they are. Loved the show.

Excellent, it was to hear some of the classics

Played some classic tunes, but none of the new material, some crowd favourites missing from previous shows and the banter between the band just didn't happen. In previous shows, between songs the banter flowed, this time it seemed to be a bit of a muted performance. Couldn't point to a reason but the performance wasn't as good as previous years. But it was still a good night out, live music from a very polished band and we will be going to the next performance.

Elkie was great as usual, but show was ruined by people taking flash photos & filming

This was the fourth time we had seen the illegal eagles at the Grand theatre and they certainly dident let the audience down, a perfect set list with trevor explaining about the origins of the songs and witty little story's, the second set built up to the climex of hotel california to finish the night off and for us this was possibly one pf the best shows ive seen by them, loved the added musical backing tracks too, a fantastic night and looking forward to a return show next year already.
