I have been present for every Boney James concert here in Detroit for the past 15 yrs and Please believe Boney never disappoints. I am truly a Boney fan girl. <3
Fantastic show! Always a good time seeing one of the Backstreet Boys, and Nick is no exception! He did a great blend of his solo stuff, BSB favorites, and some classic 80s. His voice was fantastic and I love all the little asides chatting with the audience. Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of Nick or BSB!!!
The show was absolutely incredible. Nick’s voice is so good and his stage presence is captivating. The energy was high. You don’t need to be a Backstreet Boys fan to enjoy the show, as he incudes a lot of covers and makes it fun.
Absolutely amazing! Such a great mix of his songs, Backstreet Boys songs and concerts. Nick is a true performer, and you can tell how much he loves it. I would absolutely hop at the chance to attend one of his shows again. 🥰🤩
Kenny G and His Awesome FamilyBand Share a Nite that You wish it would Never End … a Beautiful and Outstanding Nite!
I have gone to many of his concerts over the 30 years that he has been performing. He always puts on a great show. His talents with the trombone and piano are amazing. His band also has amazing skills playing their instruments. I'm looking forward to the next time he comes to play.
This was my first time attending a concert at the Sound board theater. This is one of the nicest venues in Detroit and the Soundsystem was absolutely amazing. Lita Ford sounded great, and Warrant stole the show. I was really impressed with warrants replacement singer Robert Mason. Highly recommend spending your harder money to watch these guys rock out.
BNL always puts on a fun show for the crowd. Great holiday hits as well as some of the classics. The band always engages with the fans and makes it fun.
Deon did NOT disappoint!!! He came and conquered the whole audience. Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was good energy and by the end of the show my jaws were a lil sore from laughing so much! Absolutely amazing and just what i needed to cap off my week!
OMG, Jon B. and his opening act, J.Brown, was FABULOUS!!!! I've loved Jon B music and soul since he came out, and I will always be a fan!! Please come back to Detroit soon the both of you!😍
Amazing as always! Rick never lets us down ❤️ The venue could have had better seating arrangements. Some people were stuck on the far end of the aisles and it didn’t seem like they had a great view.
Phenomenal performance by Avery *Sunshine!! I have been a fan for years however this was the first time I saw her perform and I could go see her over and over again.
Eric was wonderful. I loved that he shared himself with the audience. He is a beautiful soul and his vocals are phenomenal.
My husband and I absolutely loved the show. We realize last night that we've seen Layla Hathaway perform seven times now and we have never been disappointed.
Girlfriend with her back up singers and band came and rock the house from start to end. So soullllllllllllfullllll! And Detroit showed her all the love back. She got a fan for life. Gone girl!
Damien was excellent as always! Pure excellence! However, the seating was not great at Soundboard. In todays climate of COVID and other illnesses you should consider separating your seats a bit or at least consider unlinking them. The person sitting next to me took up half of my seat making it impossible for me to scoot over. It was also very difficult to see in front of me, so I ended up standing up the entire night which likely blocked the people behind me that wanted to sit down. Sound Board please figure out a better seating/viewing layout. (note I was sitting in section 120 for reference)
This was my first time at a concert at Sound Board. Patti's concert began at 7:30 with a very good singer at 7:30. He played and sang songs until 7:50. The audience waited for Patti for about 30 minutes without any entertainment or reason for any delay.
Patti came on at 8:20. She sang covers for songs that I did not recognize. She sang her signature song "If Only You Knew". This made the whole show. She sang until around 9. Her backup singers and band members displayed their talent. When Patti returned she sang a few songs. She ended with Lady Marmalade around 9:40.
Patti's voice was strong and excellent. The concert was good, Patti connected with the audience. She invited audience members to come on stage and dance to hers songs. My only complaint was that she did not sing many of her songs that we love to hear!
She was good this time considering I had fallen coming into the venue. I messed up my leg shoulder and hip. A freak fall. So needless to say I was in pain
Good time. Easy in. Easy out. Nice place. Would go to another concert there again. Englebert was awesome. So glad I had an opportunity to see him.
The show was great. Finally got to see one of my favorite R&B groups. Sisqo delivered his energy. It was great to see Jazz singing with the group. The band sounded great. The group performed well. Wish the show could've been longer. We had fun.
