First time Spike and the Gang have played Belfast and boy did they Have a Ball .
With it being December it was the season for Christmas Punk so expect a few festive favourites from Slade and Wizzard along with Gimme favourites like Rocket Man , Country Roads , Straight Up and the usual few Show tunes .
90 minutes of perfection folks all controlled by the best front man in the Swinging Utters and Punk 😉
Great fun! The band were on point. Paul brought the usual mix of wit, energy and great live vocals. Set list was a nice blend of classic and tracks from the new album. Excellent 👌
Full on energy from start to finish.
SKAROBICS playing Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners and other classics.
I lost about 4 lbs from dancing non stop for 90 mins.
😎
Incredible show, super high energy all night and a few people got to meet the band after the show, although i had to leave before that. Would love to see them again
The gig was fucking brilliant. One of the best gigs I attended and I had them many. Thanks to the atmosphere of Limelight club, but of course mostly thanks to the Cavalera guys a special Max and his stage energy and charisma.
That was fucking brilliant gig.
One of the best in my life and I have seen many concerts. Thanks to the atmosphere in Limlight Club, but of course mostly thanks to the energy of Cavalera guys a special Max and his stage charisma made the experience of that concert unforgettable for me.
Absolutely brilliant! The band was clearly pleased to be back in Belfast after a really busy and successful time on tour, promoting their debut album and reaching new fans. They looked so relaxed and happy without losing a bit of professionalism. I can't wait for their next gig!
Met Miles before the gig and he was lovely, got pictures with him… daughter didn’t get into the gig due to international student card not being accepted for identification!
DPS were unreal. They played their heart out even though it was a tiny venue for them, and really interacted with the crowd.
Brilliant concert. Great to see them free of the controlling label and doing their own thing again - you could see it in their energy and enthusiasm. Come back again soon!
Incredible show. Great wee venue, crowd a bit chatty but y’know…Belfast. ;0) Noah is an absolute powerhouse on stage and we had an incredible time dancing and jumping and singing along to his upbeat stuff and borderline sobbing to his own personal brand of reflective and beautifully melancholic downbeat songs.
Great to see a Belfast show for first time in 13. Stay loose as a goose and on song. Love the Scottish flair and consistency xo Regards - Patrick
Absolutely brilliant!! First time I have seen them they exceeded my expectations. Skip was fantastic getting the entire crowd going great value for money superb venue, been to the Limelight twice now can’t wait for the next one.
Self Esteem at the Limelight last night. Fabulous sold out show and easily the best gig I've been to since Wolf Alice in 2019. I've never know anyone who has such an emotional bond with their audience. They truly love her. A mix of music, dance and performance art. I can say I was there.
Truly. great gig, mix of classic BSR songs plus a couple of ,"Thin Lizzy" songs " Don't believe a word" and "Jailbreak". Also couple off new album "Wild horses" and can't remember the other one. (So shoot me). Ok.!!!. Loads of energy from Ricki and the band on anthemic BSR classics.🥃👍😎
We went to the dublin show the day before snd it was excellent, but belfast had a special energy. ..
Thank you Therapy? For 30years of inspiriaring Rock !
Awesome gig, even played some oldies I thought I wouldn't see live, Days of no trust, Wild Swan and Kingdom of madness. Superb!
Sounded great & full of energy. Took a star off for the Roe vs Wade rant from the singer. You're there to showcase your music not your stance on world events or politics.
First time seeing The Dualers and was not disappointed. The are enthusiastic and made for a great gig. Will definitely see them again. Thank you Tyber and co xxx
The Band were excellent but I won't be returning to this venue any time soon. Had to show proof of vaccination to gain entry then ushered to a seat. These seats were just foldable chairs so close together that I was rubbing shoulders with the person next to me. Very uncomfortable and
hardly social distanced. What was the
point of these? Seen someone told off by staff for jumping out of his seat to applaud. Went to the bar pre gig for a pint. Ordered three different types of larger of the barman who came to the table as not allowed to order at the bar (which you could do at the gig) The beer came in plastic pint glasses and the lad had no idea what type of larger was in what glass. Unable to access the bar after the gig.Told by staff member I had to exit the gig then go back into the bar from the front. Far to many unnecessary and contradictory rules for any real enjoyment to be had.
