Joey was awesome. Loved the turning stage. Love his new album. So happy he sung "Please don't go, girl". It makes me emotional every time I see him perform it. That song is my favorite, and what started it 37 years ago.
Third time around!!! This was another great show with Logan. He played with more of an acoustic feel this time around, which was awesome for hearing the pureness of his voice. Will be going to see him again in May on his solo tour.
I have read bad reviews on ticketmaster about thier concerts. (Too short, bad sound, etc)
Maybe we got lucky here but they crushed it. They engaged with the audience, went for well over an hour (I think almost an hour and a half), they were positive, sounded good, etc. Had the whole place hyped up. I'd seriously rank the concert I saw a 9 out of 10. The openers were a little bland but most hip hop show openers are when they are unknown.
The venue & security was fantastic, so was the crowd. Everything, including the merch table was swift. Cavetown & Frankie Cosmos were a blast & I hope Robbie tours here again sometime!!!
It was so nice. He jus took a long time to come on but the show was cool when he was there. He had two separate djs opening for him n they was pretty good. One of the djs played sum of x's music. It was rly nice.
The venue is perfect, but lately groups use the place to socialize and chat vere loudly interfering with the performers sound. I don't think I can continue patronizing music events in this kind of venues. No one tells these party goers to shut up and listen to the CONCERT.
She has SO much great energy. I had never listened to her or seen her and I was blown away. Hilarious as well, really knows how to keep her fans attention. Her opener Brittney Spencer was also phenomenal.
The show was fn great. Ben had laryngitis so the rest of the guys killed it (per usual) and stepped up/in on the vocals…my guess is they probably all have a little laryngitis this morning. Nobody sings like Ben but man it was still so so good. I hope they come back to the southeast again AL/GA/MS/TN so their fans down here can see them. Next: The Venue. I’ve been here many a time. They need more security and better “flow” through the crowd upstairs maneuvering to the bar/bathroom. You got people sitting on the stairs and blocking entrances and exits. You have people 5 and 6 deep in front of the sound and path to the bar. It’s just not smart safety wise.…even though this was a sold out show there should have been plenty of room for us all while still being “a crowd”. I’m going to blame the weather for them being understaffed to handle the flow and a better setup. The bar and the door were well staffed though and quick as always!
3.5 stars. Hate that Ben was under the weather but the rest if the band picked up awesomely. Now the venue. This was not 1st time there and not the first one listed as sold out. But it was way more crowded than I had ever seen. And alit drunk and rude. And the people vaping made it difficult to breath. I finally had to go to back to get fresh air. Cause with asthma it was to much.
I bought tickets, got dolled up, half way there, and turned around and went back home. Decided I wasn’t in a gregarious mood. Sorry. ☺️ Givin em five stars and the benefit of the doubt anyway.
This was a cozy but adequate venue on 22nd in Birmingham and I parked (probably illegally) right across the street! Funny—I was the only one who thought of it.😄🤪Iron City Bham is a bar with 1200 persons capacity and was filled with Fleetwood Mac Fans of a wide age span who had a really enjoyable evening together with Rumors ATL, a Superb band!! 💃
The vibe was electric! The band was amazing and the venue was just small enough you didn't feel too far from the stage! They them selves, being this is the first time seeing them live, had an amazing performance. It sounded so good and definetly made it enjoyable. If I have the choice I will definetly go see them again.
Always a bit nervous about the set list when seeing DBT because they can't possibly play everything I want to hear because there's so much of it. I was pretty happy with what I heard, especially from Cooley. Didn't get Zip City, but did get a half dozen of the bangers I would have asked for, which is great, all things considered. Probably the best Sunday night show I've been to.
Summer salt was the bomb. They only played about 10 songs, but they were some of my favorites so I'm really happy with how the show went. I hope they headline a show one day, the crowd didn't quite know exactly who SS was I think (was this a boy band concert? I've never seen so many rabid college girls)
AWESOME! Metal as fuck, gave good breakdowns and the mosh pit was fire 🔥🔥 They sound super good, absolutely insane. Definitely recommend ❤️❤️ it was a good concert for a tuesday night lol
It was AWESOME! My bestie and I ate at the Iron City Grill first then the show. I loved opener, MacKenzie Porter too. The atmosphere was great with all the kids and families there. Walker interacted with them and his own kids. I would ABSOLUTELY go to another show😁😁😁
The show was everything!! At first I didn’t think it was going to be all that b/c I did the meet and greet with Wale and he didn’t seem to like he wanted to do it. His demeanor was like hurry up let’s get this over with so I can go. I guess I was expecting him to be a little more welcoming to his fans. So in my mind I was like “ahhhhh man....who pissed him off that he’s in a bad mood before the show?” But I know there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes and something could’ve happened right before he came out. I’m just happy that it didn’t affect his performance because he was AMAZING!!!!!! Loved every minute of his set! When he did “Sue Me” it was everything that I imagined and more because the entire crowd was into it which made it magical! Hands down one of the best concerts that I’ve been to here in B’ham! Would live for Wale to come back again soon!
Andy is a performer that will not disappoint! He was so personable and actually looked to be enjoying the crowd. The venue, IronCity-Birmingham, AL, is fabulous. His entire band owned the crowd. He started the set in the audience (see picture of us a foot away)! With his song, Naive and he continued to be high energy, smiling, dancing and playing keyboard/guitar until the end. Nightly, the warm up band was lit too.
The venue was amazing. The security was super nice and thoughtful. The size of the place was perfect. I will definitely come back to this venue again. I had great seats and could see every single band perfectly for my height.
