I was at the Bonamassa concert in Seattle. I have listened to this artist for many years and love his work in the blues and rock. No question he is a great artist and I admire that he has control of his work and concerts. Having said that, this concert was a disappointment because the volume was so high that there was lots of distortion, my ears were ringing and it was uncomfortable. We had seats in the back which may have increased the distortion. I am a senior citizen, but in my younger days, have attended concerts with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, James Taylor, Eric Clapton and others but it has never been this loud. Respectfully, please turn it down a little, so we can enjoy your fabulous talent. Thank you.

Joe is fantastic. His backup band is terrific, his singers are fabulous, and you can never tell what guitar is coming out next. They had fun on stage and that makes the show much better. There are musicians whose shows are primarily pyro displays and stunts; that's not what Joe does. He's the real deal--no drama, just great music delivered enthusiastically. And he is at the top of the list of today's great musicians even while Clapton's hanging in and Buddy Guy's hanging on. Those elder statesmen have made huge contributions to the blues but Joe's the one touring relentlessly, making new music, and collaborating with other great artists (listen to his solo on Mindi Abair's "Pretty Good for Girl": it's a 40-second break that will knock you down). He's the king of the blues--see him when you can. I'm going to call out Climate Pledge arena for a cheap, uncomfortable folding chair in row 1 on the floor. This was a pricey ticket and the venue is responsible. We were packed in--when one person moved, the other 39 moved too. The nosebleed seats were more comfortable!

Phantogram’s set was stunning. Each & every song delivered the full vivid intensity that makes their music so special. Sarah’s emphatic, captivating vocals and stage presence dovetailed perfectly with Josh’s complementary vocals, wry smile, and high kicks. We only wish their set could have been longer. Our GA pit tickets made for an unforgettable experience. We were first in line when the doors opened, and only ended up behind a couple rows of fans who’d bought VIP tickets with early floor access. We didn’t stay for the Kings of Leon set, opting to keep Phantogram’s performance freshest in our minds. Glad we did this. Hopefully Phantogram returns to Seattle soon after their new album is fully released. Next time Phantogram has a headline tour, we will probably try to attend back to back shows in Seattle, Portland, Spokane, and Vancouver, BC.
