Played an array of songs. Marshall and his band were amazing. Such talented artists. Will see him again next time around.
Excellent!! They worked so hard and played so well. Seamlessly melded songs from Steely Dan, the Dead and others. Had a great time!!!!!
What a tremendous performance! Finally, it was my first time seeing Bobby Mohoney & The Seventh Son LIVE. I definitely like the older songs, but the new album doesn't disappoint. Support local music!
Johnny and the boys always deliver. Have been going to dramarama shows since 1984 at the green parrot in Neptune, have never been disappointed. This band is part of my life, love them.
Fastball at The Wonderbar was a fantastic show. The band is known for late 90's hits, but they continue to deliver outstanding and well-crafted songs 20 years later. Live, they play a ton of songs and no two shows are ever the same. They never dial it in like some acts. A Fastball show is always full of great surprises. Don't miss these guys! They're as good as ever, if not better.
You have to pinch yourself, when you in a venue that holds tops 325, and are standing in front of these super talented musicians that have a huge catalog of hits. The venue was super cool, the opening artist Diana Demuth's vocals & emotionally charged performance was just awesome! Fastball was just off the charts amazing! Got to chat with Miles & snap a pic. Super cool dude! Yes a great evening!
So much fun!!!! The bar was empty because everyone was on the dance floor. Come back to Asbury Park Yacht Lobsters 🦞🦞
This was the best live performance by Fake Pockets that I’ve seen! The Wonder Bar team does a great job with the sound. But the entire band played and sang with a high level of energy. Devon’s vocals and the harmonies were all powerful. Everyone looked they were having a great time, smiling and laughing. Devon’s energetic songs got the crowd moving, Cara Introcaso’s scorching guitar solos brought mid-song cheers and the solid rhythm section drove the peppy beats. Go see Fake Pockets!
Amazing show! Mr Tickle Hands was an incredible opener, Octave Cat was sooo good and even had the Ocean Avenue Stompers join on horns!
This band was amazing. Transitions were great and they have a great blend of different genres that really gives them their own unique sound. They're someone I can listen to on repeat but honestly, hearing them live brings their sound to another level.
If you're looking for a feel good band that best be described as folk -n- roll, then Adam Ezra Group is for you. Their infectious, eloquent, tunes will have you dancing one moment (OK, more than one monent) and reflective the next. AEG's followers are a band of brothers and sisters, ensuring that each show is a party, and an extension of the (com)passionate community fostered by Adam himself. See this band!
She is so incredibly talented and versatile - several electric and acoustic guitars, even an electric ukelele and electronic drum pad. Total professional!
They've got some bops and play alright, but they need more experience and practice. Their guitarist is surprisingly talented and does some interesting things with cords and sound manipulation. The lead singer has a strong stage presence and owns the show by engaging with the audience and making said audience in on the act, but the voice lacks. They will have something sooner than later.
Meg Myers was astounding, aside from the many and I mean many, technical problems that interfered with a smooth show and good quality audio. Were these on her audio engineers or the venue? We will never know. On top of that, the venue is incredibly small, so the sound quality isn't that great to start with. But she persevered and gave a great performance, playing both a guitar and a drum board at the same time, all while singing.
The show was a lot of fun, Alexandra Kay and even her warm up put on a great show keeping you attention the whole night
I’d give these guys 10 stars if I could. They are just incredible song writers and performers. Absolutely go see them if you get the chance!
The Adam Ezra Group brings TONS of energy along with their extraordinary musicianship. Though Ezra categorizes himself as a folk singer, the band's performance crosses musical genre from rock, to country, to folk rock, to ballads. Much of the performance includes danceable music...and the crowd responds. The 3/10/23 performance at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, NJ, exemplified ALL of this.
We have been fans of The Wonder Bar, pre-pandemic, especially enjoying the quality sound system there. The 3/10 performance, however, left a lot to be desired in this regard. The bass, in particular, sounded tinny throughout the concert. Though Ezra thanked the sound engineer, the problem was obvious.
The Adam Ezra Group was outstanding! Awesome show! They have so much talent and honestly they are my favorite band to see! They are wonderful people who have fun performing and bringing smiles to their audience faces! They are seriously incredible! My wife, daughter, and I had the BEST day of the summer so far being at The Wonder Bar enjoying The Adam Ezra Group experience. We hope to see them again soon. 😁✌️🎸🥁🎤
Saw they were playing the Wonderbar in Asbury Park when we planned our vacation , listened to them to familiarize myself with their music, and they put on a great show, easily winning my wife and I over as new fans!!
Had a blast at this show.....Nothing compares to seeing one of your favorite singers live and putting on a kick ass show. Cannot wait till the next time I go and see Diamante live
