His voice is absolutely magical (he is gifted — not everyone can sing that high and so well, even with training), and he’s a good instrumentalist. If you know his songs well it is even more fun!
Superb as always. They never disappoint. Very talented musicians that stay true to the art of Tom Petty. They are tight and right on!!
This is a must see show. The Play was so beautifully done and the excellent talent of singers and musician on stage was simply amazing. Thank you all for all the time put in to produce this wonderful Play. I thoroughly enjoyed everything. YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS SHOW TO BROADWAY/ON THE ROAD!! (PARTICULARLY - HOUSTON AND ATLANTA). Also, this should be a field trip for every high school choir group. This is a teaching tool!!
Looking forward to next year.
Great show, great performance, awesome venue. Boney James has been my favorite jazz musician for over 20 years. It was nice that he had an expanded play list from prior albums. He also included songs and stories from artists that influenced him, and made the night feel like you were spending time with friends. A very intimate performance!
Great show. Intimate and felt like a conversation between friends. Certain songs they just get scratched into your soul...
Show was great! Each musician was masterful. After all these years Richard is as strong as ever.
Only disappointment was wishing they had played "Shoot Out the Lights" and "Wall of Death". Oh well... Mellow, appreciative audience (sporting a lot of gray hair!). The Fitzgerald Theater is fabulous; thank goodness for renovating these beautiful old theaters.
Absolutely hilarious! They filmed this for a Netflix special, which was exciting, so we can't wait to see that.
The show was astounding! The artistry of Gillian, David and their bass player was mind-blowing. The friend I brought to see you for the first time asked if I would like to travel to one of your upcoming shows to see you again.
We loved seeing the Tenors once again. I saw them twice before the pandemic.
What we would like to see is that they return to Mystic Lake Casino in Shakopee.
It is a much nicer and larger theater with better aucoustics.
The Fitzgerald is old and difficult to navigate, no elevators and parking is a nightmare.
We had 3 generations at the concert, the oldest being 81 and we were in the balcony.
Please bring them back to Shakopee and maybe 2 nights, we would gladly pay for the
great music and night out. They fill our souls!
Sincerely, Valerie Duellman and family
We were there, and it was an honor. One of the most powerful concerts I’ve ever seen. You were everything, Mimi.
Amazing show and we did the meet and greet. They are the most sincere down to earth people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
We've seen Mat several times, including the Minnesota Zoo and the rain out at the Basilica. We thought that this was his best. He just keeps getting better and his performance is accentuated by the stripped down, acoustic delivery.
Marc Scibilia was the perfect pick to open. Mat was full of energy and his passion for the performance was genuine. Can't wait to see him again.
Absolutely amazing!! A spiritual experience all around, particularly Ocean!!!
John was super engaging and very thoughtful. Never a good concert, always a GREAT concert!!
Wow, unbelievable. Thanks for keeping me company for the Pinnacle part of 3 decades. Looking forward to the next 3 with WyoU. 🙏🤘❤️🤙🎉🫠🥳🫡🤯🤠😎🤗🎶✌️🧑🤝🧑🪑💺
Whereas some groups are great on recordings but disappoint live (I'm looking at you, RHCP), TMBG exceeded even my wildest expectations. The Johns' voices haven't changed a bit and brought me right back to 1990. The rest of the band were phenomenal. That trumpet! All the classics from "Flood" mixed with a host of other material made for an extensive setlist and a wonderful evening. I also deeply appreciated their respectful request for folks to wear masks and the vast majority of the audience for doing so. In all, it was worth the three-year wait (bought tickets in November 2019, then waited patiently as the show was rescheduled thrice) and I can't wait for them to come back to the Twin Cities.
The Del Amitri show was everything I hoped it would be; a night of familiar songs to sing along with and do some toe tapping and head bobbing. They're as polished as ever and played a great set.
One of the most amazing concerts I have ever been to. Every superlative would be deserved. They sounded so good, played together so well. And the switching of guitars was well choreographed.
Mat is just so darn great! Music is always top notch and you feel like he’s a buddy of yours by the end of the evening. Vienna the house dog was awesome too!
Hearing him do Angelina unplugged was amazing. With all of his stories and humor and good music, I could have listened for hours!
