The Smashing Pumpkins show at Truist Park on August of 2024 was amazing! They played all the hits from Today, 1979, Cherub Rock, Bullet with Butterfly Wings, and much more! I got there a bit late since they show started at 4:30 pm instead of at 6 pm like the ticket said! I missed the Linda Lindas and Rancid set but, I got there as The Smashing Pumpkins were starting their set. I heard Today through the loud speakers and by the time I got to my seat, they were playing Ava Dore. And I wasn't the only one who got there late! There were many others so, I'm mad at whoever set up the schedule!! Linda Lindas and Rancid must've played to an empty stadium!! Anyways, the Pumpkins were amazing! KikI Wong rocked the bass guitar like a pro!! Jimmy Chamberlin didn't miss a beat on the drums!! James Iha killed it on guitar!!! And Billy Corgan sang through so many of his hits I was in disbelief that so many others critizied him of playing off beat songs at other concerts!! Maybe I was lucky that day!! I loved the show and I wished I could have watched it from the beggining but one thing the Pumpkins did is made me want to watch them live again!!
FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!! Thank goodness I got to Truist Park early as the openers started sooner than the ticket said. I tell ya, these gals not only ROCK, but their lyrics are wildly relatable and mature. My current two favorites are "All in My Head" and "Oh!"
Bailey Zimmerman is amazing in concert! He sounds just like he does on the album and brings so much energy and enthusiasm to his shows! We are lifelong fans and can’t wait to see him every time he comes close by!
Steve Miller, Journey and Def Leppard all put on a great show and sounded fantastic. The view of the stage from our 8th row stage right VIP seats was completely obstructed by the ramp elevation set to allow walking access into the PIT seats. Terrible design flaw! We could only see individual band members that walked around the ramps over to our section. I never saw Jonathan Cain (other than on the big screen) the whole night. EVERYONE in our section felt so dissappointed & frustrated. Several asked event staff if they could be moved OUT OFF VIP SEATS to seats that could actually see the stage. They were told that the request for that move would have had to have been made BEFORE they entered the venue. Seriously?! There was NO heads up about this obstruction from tour management or ticketing. How could anyone have known until they were at their seat? Arnel and Sav (Def Leppard) did an incredible job of playing to and interacting with our section! They made it okay in the end. I still feel sad that I couldn't see the stage AT ALL. But Arnel was the best!!! Fourth time seeing Journey with Arnel as lead singer and he always is THE BEST! :-)
Love Love Journey music!! not so much the band lineup, they’re giving it their best shot, I guess!
The front man, kind of restraining at the end of the show, but absolutely
love Dean Castronovo, Jonathan Caine and Neal Schon 😌❤️
Lead singers for both Journey and Def Leppard could not hit or maintain the high notes like when they were younger. They need to sing the songs in lower keys OR play less concerts so they can sing them properly.
Also, the sound mix for Def Leppard was not the best. Was hard to hear some notes and many lyrics. Not sure if it was by accident or design.
Great venue, great sound, great show. The venue (Truist Park/Braves Stadium) itself was the most expensive I’ve been to recently. Loved the overall line up (Dylan Marlowe, Bailey Zimmerman, Parker McCollum, & Morgan Wallen) - everyone was amazing. Merch pricing was in line with other artists recently seen - no sticker shock there. Overall, the sound quality & performance outweighed the venue cost.
This is my first Bad Bunny concert and it was amazing!!! This album hit from the first time it was released throughout the whole summer of the year , yk I just had to enjoy this live! Sadly we didn’t hear “Andrea” but it was still great !!!
This was the most fun I’ve had at a concert EVER! When you see your favorite band for the first time, and Thundercat is an opener, what’s to complain about? Absolutely stunning experience and I got to visit my brother who moved from Reno to Savannah. Can’t wait to go back!
Really entertaining. I removed a star because she needs to be more aware of visibility issues. At the beginning she was located in an area of the stage that made her not visible to an entire side of the audience. Other than that, good show.
The crowd sucked...
28 years since I've seen them originally , they put on an awesome show.
We could have had more but the crowd didnt help energize them.. What a shame cause they have so much more ...
Top notch show and professionalism all around. Massive downpour during most of the show and they didn't shy away or cut the set. In fact it ran over the normal 11pm that 99% of all shows adhere to nowadays. Band sounds great, covered most of the biggest hits as well as adding in some new songs. Class act.
Def Leppard was nothing but stellar....all the hits you want to hear plus some of the newer material....they never lost an edge. My 3rd fav band ever. (Ratt and STP respectively)
Well it was good to see the Crue boys back...however it was not their best performance...Vince mumbled through most of the songs and forgot some lyrics here and there...and Tommy played a bit but was replaced by another drummer because he broke 4 ribs...I can't fault him for that though. Overall it was great to hear the classics...I'm assuming they will get better as the tour progresses...it was their first show in about 7 years so overall I gave them 4 stars.....Rock On!!
I'm not a big Poison fan but they rocked the house, I have to admit.
Joan Jett rocked too...she is incredible...been a huge fan since my first 45 record back in 1981 was "I Love Rock n Roll"
The concert was the best I've seen in a long time. Def Leppard was awesome even in the down poring rain. Poison was the next best with Motley Crue tying them. Long and hot and wet but all and all great day out. Felt like I was 17 again!!!!!!!!!
Luckily I was able to see Poison and Motley Crue. I missed Joan Jett d/t parking issues and getting to the arena with my walker down 2 large hills, and then had to leave after Motley Crue d/t mom falling and getting injured while I was at the concert. She told me to finish the concert, but a huge thunderstorm with lightning hit right after Motley Crue, so I really don't know if Def Leppard got to play. I was happy to be here though, because I was also at the farewell concert in Greenwood. The bands were great as usual. I still listen to the music in the car. Great memories from high school and when I first saw them at Monsters of Rock in Germany when Faster Pussycats opened for them.
I wasn't able to attend but I was able to look at it other ways and my God he rocked it poison was so fantastic and I know they were technical difficulties but you know what nothing or nobody is perfect did a fantastic job beautiful and Stadium my God all the people I know he and poison appreciated it well done Brett absolutely well done wish to God I could have been there maybe sometime not giving up much love to you!!!🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️😎🌟🌟💯💪🙌🤘
Terrible sound but great performances! We were on the fourth level which may have played a part but the voices were hard to hear and understand. We still enjoyed ourselves but disappointed we couldn’t hear/understand everyone clearly. They need to rethink the smoke bombs as they just blocked your view and smelled bad which wasn’t a great effect in our book. Despite the heat and rain storm everyone had a great time.
Poison along with Def Leppard put on a great show! Bret Michaels was fired up and truly makes his fans feel like part of the show. I've never sat this far away, but still felt like part of the show. GREAT TIME!
Each individual act was great but way too long in between acts. Last act stated extremely late after it started pouring rain. Bought raffle tickets for the guitar and had to leave before the end because of the downpour
