DANNY ELFMAN The concert was…..interesting. A 45-piece band with a choir brought beautiful and sometimes confusing music. The giant screen visuals were often disturbing with beauty weaved in. The Oingo Boingo music brought back memories and had pretty much 22,000 people bouncing to it. The film score music was gorgeous, but a bit short for my taste. I wanted more! The solo album stuff was bizarre, and kind of a “Big Mess”. All in all, it was enjoyable and eclectic, like Danny himself. At 71 years-young, Danny is very fit physically, and vocally. His singing is still spot-on and his voice is fabulous. I love poppy!! I love that she doesn’t overdo her performances! She’s one of my favorite artists! Can’t wait to go to her next concert! It was an excellent performance! I wish it was a longer set, and also I wish she would have more light effects or other stage effects like AFI did. I understand she was an opener but I don’t understand why one opener had more effects than Poppy and KennyHoopla maybe because it was in the day their performances, anyways, the main reason I wanted to go to this concert was because I wanted to see Poppy live and she was amazing !

AFI have been my favorite band for well over a decade now and they literally are better and better every time I see them live. Davey’s interaction with the crowd, especially at this show was incredible. I wish they had been the headliners because a 45min set is not nearly enough but as always they were phenomenal!

Avril always sounds and looks amazing but honestly, she has such low energy on stage. I’ve seen 70 year old dudes rock out on stage with more energy. But she is our punk rock princess and we love her no matter what! The 3 star rating isn’t for her. I’d give her 4 stars and the venue 1 star. Worst venue experience of my entire life!!!! I’ve been to several hundred concerts and I’ve never experienced such a ridiculous parking situation in my entire life except for the 3 times I’ve been to shoreline. Shoreline is consistently the worst venue. Every time. And I can’t even think of a close second because no one compares. I will say that I’ve had mostly good experiences with the actual staff inside of the venue. But something needs to be done about that parking situation… it took me 2 hours to park and almost 2 hours to leave the parking lot after the show. So I spent over 6 hours in my car for a one hour show since I missed all of the opening acts even though I left PLENTY of time to get there, or so I thought…. And it’s crazy because I’ve been to venues with much smaller and fewer parking lots and they seem to have it down. This venue has like 10 parking lots and they’re huge. I think the breaking point for me was when I finally broke free of the parking lot crowd trying to exit. There was a totally empty and available exit that I went through that no one was directing traffic to. There were people directing traffic and the exit I went through was perfectly available yet no one was using it… probably could’ve saved everyone HOURS of their lives if they opened all available exits… I’m sure that wasn’t the only one. Getting in was even worse!!! I sat front row at a red light right by the parking lot for 4 cycles as they let all other lanes/directions go FOUR TIMES before I had to just go. I’m a very peaceful person and I was ready to run the guy over who was directing traffic and almost did lol. I don’t care who is playing, even if Kurt Cobain himself rose from the dead and played here, I will never go back. It’s just not worth it.

It was fun and awesome getting to see Avril so close. She was an absolute angel. Her background and props were cool. Her backup guitarist and drummers were good too. Royal and the serpent was amazing live, I loved her vibe so much. All time low was fucking amazing live too. Definitely one of my best concerts too date!

only went to see BMTH and it was so worth it. my favorite band since i can remember and seeing them for the third time was just as good as usual. i love the way oli interacts with the crowd, he will forever be my favorite musician. (also, he was going OFF with his screams btw, so crazy to see his talent in person).

Janet did not disappoint. She brought her A game and was on point. Going back to Shoreline Amphitheater was an awesome feeling and the excitement to see her perform and the energy she brought was everything. This show brought back so many memories from when I first seen her perform @ this same venue back in 1990 for her Rhythm Nation tour. The catalog of hits that was performed was like no other. Every act took you back to a certain Janet Era. Definitely one of the only few performers left that put on a show like no other and give you that live concert experience of seeing an iconic legend perform.

Amazing way to start off the SF Pride weekend! Halsey is an incredible performer!! After seeing her live, I went from liking her music to loving her as an artist. She was very passionate when she talked about her inspirations for her music & jumped up down and all around the stage... Also, the concert was on the day after they tried banning abortion in the states & changing human reproductive right laws so she on a whim- changed the last set of her performance to show her support for body autonomy & all of the women at the venue... I will never forget that night. She's an inspiration.

Going to a Sammy Hagar & The Circle show is a good time. Energy from the first note to the last. It's a Rock & Roll show. The ladies were dancing all around our area. I wish they would have played longer, the show was about 1hr 40 minutes. The band sounded great. Sammy, always makes sure that everyone who attends his show has a good time.

Incubus was amazing! Way better than I imagined! Even with Brandon sitting they were able to project a great energy level. And I loved the lighting and effects. Super groovy and fit their music really well. I was fussing about going all the way down to Mountain View but it was so worth the trip!

Garbage was fantastic. Shirley is always awesome. Love her fighting spirit. The venue is okay. Decent options - pretzels way too salty and tacos way too tiny but there are plenty of other foods. Alcohol is expensive, but the frozen vodka lemonade drinks are very good. Had some very annoying issues with people around us during Alanis's set, but luckily not during Garbage. (I like Alanis, but much more into Garbage, so at least I got to enjoy the set I was more interested in.)

Alanis - great. Fantastic singer, great songs, fun personality, excellent stage show. Some of the fans - not so great. Unfortunately, the people around me and my friend were pretty obnoxious about it. I'm pretty tall, but with the people in front of us deciding to stand the entire show with their hands up holding their phones above their heads it made it annoyingly difficult to see anything. On top of that, person behind me was slow clapping as hard and loud as they could, and kept doing it right by my ear, and the people in the seats next to me kept moving over *in front of me*. I get bumping me sometimes, cause there's a lot of people, but is it so hard for you not to move completely in front of me when you have your own damn seat space? The venue - it's alright. Nice layout. Fair amount of food options. Staff is friendly and helpful. Alcohol is expensive but the vodka lemonade drinks are very good. Tried a pretzel and it was the single saltiest thing I have ever tasted in my life. If you don't have an intense love for pure salt flavor, avoid the pretzels or be prepared to scrape it off. Tacos are very, very tiny. Decent flavor, but not at all worth it considering how little you get. Too much stuff is labeled as vip, overpriced, and barely gets you anything. Luckily the vip tickets (at least the 'crystal' vip tickets) for the show itself came with a pretty sweet merch package that's supposed to have a bunch of cool Alanis stuff, but it gets mailed out some time after the show. Plus a much shorter line to get in.

Alanis was simply fantastic. I was fortunate to see her twice during this tour and I can say that I enjoyed her this time much more than the first time. It had nothing to do with Alanis, but more of the setting of the place. Shoreline Amphitheatre is clean, friendly workers, easy to navigate, and has a better layout. Also, it was the last show of the tour so it felt even more special. Can’t wait to see her again!

The Chicks did what they do best. Rock harder and better than most. You don’t have to like country music to appreciate the raw talent that these women posses. In fact, if you can’t get passed that you don’t like country music, your missing out on some real talent. You cannot deny that from production to every musician on stage, it’s hard to beat The Chicks live. Many have tried. I have seen hundreds of bands live during my life as a tour manager and now as a spectator. Bravo ladies! Not many bands can 20 years later have a crowd of 20k+, all ages, most born long after most of your records were made, singing every word to every song. It was absolutely amazing. There is a reason. That is not luck! It must be just as amazing to be that song writer who’s songs touch so many for so long. Now for the dirt. It was a Live Nation show 🤮. I checked the Shoreline amphitheater official website before I made the long drive down there for information about what’s allowed. Did I need that clear bag that is so freaking ridiculous and makes 0 sense? And absolutely nothing was said about needing one. So when I arrived there were signs about the clear bag policy. And a place to check your purses. When I told the live nation representative that there was nothing on my ticket or the venues website about this ignorant policy (which benefits no one except live nation profits by short staffing for less inspection needed, Laughable since they didn’t look in the small non clear bags in the clear bag) I was told I looked at the wrong site. “Ummmm I looked on the VENUES WEBSITE Where THE EVENT is being held” He said “they are irrelevant, this is a live nation event and you should have checked their website” yep irrelevant was the term used. Which fits perfectly into the egotistical greedy executive model that Live Nation is run. So I promptly took my things out of my purse stuck them in my pocket, put my purse in my jacket pocket and went in. No one inspected anything I brought in. So yeah that clear bag thing is a great idea and works wonders. Then I put my stuff that no one inspected back into my purse and went to my seat. My purse didn’t misbehave and no one got hurt. I’d rather pull my eyeballs from my head with my own hands than go on the live nation website and now really considering never attending another Live Nation show. Live Nation was created by the losers who couldn’t be an artist and find self worth in how much money they have, so they instead exploit artists and overcharge the the artists fans so they can feel relevant and powerful. Just a little message to the executives at Live Nation who think that profit is the goal of life and charging fees to people for absolutely nothing in return is ok and no big deal and not killing the whole reason for music in the first place. A convenience fee? Seriously? And the saddest part is you have no idea what your doing is wrong and deceitful. You think you are really a big shot. Sad, Pitiful and so wrong. But fear not, You are still a loser, money doesn’t make you taller or better looking. And your partner has to hold back the barf when you touch them and wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. No one actually likes a greedy pig. And you can’t put lipstick on it to make it pretty. Money will never love you back. Sorry to have to break the news to you but NO ONE really likes or respects you. They are paid to. Guess that’s what the convenience fee is used for? When the people who need music the most, like a kid or a hard working person who makes minimum wage, has to miss shows because the cost has gotten so out of control, but the not so hard working executives paychecks keep going up and can afford more than they deserve, we have lost sight into what is important and the whole reason we need music in this world. Thanks for destroying the music Live Nation. You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time. But you can afford to pay for companionship. Yay you. I’d rather be broke than ugly inside and out! And the Shoreline amphitheater executives keep in mind that Live Nation has trained its representatives that you are “irrelevant” so when that executive is kissing your ass because he doesn’t have a venue to exploit he actually thinks your irrelevant. I would make them irrelevant and cut them out of your venue. Unless of course you are willing to be irrelevant for $$. Music heals and needs to be accessible to all again. Look around this country. It’s sick and getting sicker. Ask yourself why.

The concert and the lineup was fantastic. We had the best time. I had never seen Loverboy and it was quite a blast from the past and so much fun. REO was great, they really rocked and STYX was absolutely amazing. We have seen them so many times and the show was as good as ever!

Their stage presence is simple and very connective, no extravagant outfits or outfit changes. No dance routines just them and their audience. The energy and the on stage visuals were beautiful. The things they spoke about and the fact that they made sure to talk about bodily autonomy is fucking amazing. I love Halsey so much. Definitely would love to see them again<3

They sounded great. I was disappointed due to them performing most of their new album then interspersed the hits. Many of the attendees, myself included, were not familiar with the new music. You could tell by the muted responses (clapping, cheers) to the new material. If you see them on this current tour, 'bone up' on the new material. Oh yes, Suffer the Children was sang by the lady that does backup vocals. Great voice but not what we were there for. I guess they needed a break. Have fun!

I'm a HUGE Cage the Elephant fan. Seen them 7 times since 2009. They've come a long way and Matt always has the audience in his palm. LOVED that Brad broke some strings on Aint No Rest for the Wicked while in the crowd, then chucked his guitar like 20 feet back to the stage. Kudos to that roadie for catching Brad's flying broken guitar 😂

John Mayer and Otiel bring powerful energy to the Dead and Co. This tour marks strong rhythms and tempos that challenge tradition however set this band off on a never ending path of continuous improvement and success Whoever thought the first night was slow missed the mark. The band is tight and so are the loyal crowd who bring positive spirits and energy happens. John is jumping and Otiel’s face paint a sign of the serious deadication!

I was a little late when I went to see them, since I was watching Black Veil Brides set first. The last couple of songs I got to see were really good live and I enjoyed it a lot, but I do wish I was more in the crowd up front when I saw them, to bad I saw them to late. On the bright side I got to meet them after wards, that was amazing
