As good as it gets! Band is fantastic all at the top of their game and Nicholas Peyton was a treat!!
An uplifting, spiritual experience. Lakecia's energy is infectious and she plays with great intensity, as do her bandmates. She also took time to meet, sign records for and take selfies with fans after the show. I will see Lakecia Benjamin anytime she is in town.
Such a talented performer with excellent stage presence. His dad even made a surprise appearance to add some saxophone to an already powerful sound. So much fun to see!
Wonderful poise and a great voice. Will be a real pleasure to watch her career continue.
Over the top talent on stage tonight with Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway!
Absolutely amazing! The depth and breadth of her talent continues to grow. This is a can’t miss show for jazz fans, movie fans and just plain music fans!
If I could give it 10 stars, I would have.
It's always a joy to be in the audience. She is so talented.
The space is amazing, and the show was fantastic Milton showed his entire repertoire, with incredible vocal power support from the band!! It was unforgettable!!!!
I went to this show knowing that the great Milton Nascimento’s voice is not the same as it was during his best years. I went to express my gratitude to him and hear his marvelous music in his company one last time. The band was terrific- great accompanying voices and players. He was ever present, singing what he could and clearly gave his all- I enjoyed the evening greatly.
Absolutely incredible. JP always puts on a flawless performance and having Mike Portnoy back made it truly special.
Amazing display of musicianship on a very special night at Berklee.
Just freaking wow!
It was a pleasure to see John, Mike, and Dave grooving and shredding azz. Their virtuosity exploded, then got dynamically mellower, while always staying edgy. And seeing them at Berkeley with its great sound…
Hope to see them again
Last night, Louise and I were both quite literally transported to other places, listening to this man’s compositions. He was very soft spoken, but engaging with all of us, and kinda funny. He spoke of it being his second live show since Covid, and that he so missed the “conversation” of a live performance. Our voices were all sampled, and included as part of one of the pieces. It was all quite sublime. I’ve followed him since hearing his music in the movie The Hunger Games (thanks #Shazam!) It’s not for everyone, for sure. But hearing him live on a grand piano, several keyboards and computers, with a cello, viola, 2 violins, drums, and some sort of muted upright piano thingy that at times he played and at times became automated and played along, with a minimalistic but also grandiose light show that was in sync with different aspects of each piece, it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I’m definitely seeing him again. ❤️
🙏🏻 many many thanks to Amadou and Mariam, and The Blind Boys of Alabama. This show was a gift, a blessing and a honor to experience.
Thank you so much for sharing your music with us. Be safe and live in grace.
Everything I had hoped for! Fulfilled a life dream to see them live. The Blind Boys of Alabama where fantastic a true American gospel group.
The venue is ok, good sound, no frills, seating ok. It’s be nice if they added monitors for the further seated audience. The stage sits later low so the far back seats see tiny people on stage. The crowd was so into though it never matter if you could see well the music just took one away!
Great show, this guy is the real deal.
Would have given 5 stars but for Christopher Cross making multiple comments about blue vs red states, how much more enlightened people from Boston are vs Texas, was very negative towards Conservatives. Left a bad taste in our mouth days later. Everyone else was great!
More than I hoped for. Fun-filled Xmas ridiculousness at it's worst. Let's do it again!!!
