Eventim Apollo

Awesome to finally see Finneas live. The Apollo is the most perfect size venue as you feel connected to the artist rather than watching them on a big screen in the distance of an arena or stadium with +20,000 fans screaming lyrics so you can’t hear the artist you paid to listen to! Great atmosphere at the Apollo. Finneas is so sweet and funny and engaged with the audience. I wish all concerts could be this size. Loved every second of it!! 🤘

What an awesome experience! Michael was of course just sublime. The band of 10 or so great sounding vocalists and musicians were a perfect match. Sounds, lights, audience (MK's fans are just the best ever!) were fantastic. The mood was great and made an extra special night even more amazing. MK played all the right songs and blew us away with perfect renditions of everything we know and love. Such a modest and laid back artist who's created some of the most enduring tracks which simply need to be heard live.

It was fantastic in London eventim Apollo... I come back... What a fantastic show in London. It was more than worth flying to England to see Ali and the band... wonderful... I love you so much...💖💕🥰 It was an absolutely fantastic reggae night with Ali Campbell, Uncle Frank, Bitty McLean, Adriano Rossetti-Bonell Ali delivered another world-class show for me. His fantastic voice with so much feeling is wonderful... I've been listening to his music for ages. Ali Campbell, is UB40 !!! WITHOUT Ali Campbell it's not UB40 that's crystal clear to me !!! I could see him four times this year and it was always fantastic. I come from Germany and flew here to London for him and the band. I love so much to see, hear and feel his shows... Ali is a master at what he does... The show continues next year...🤙I love you so much...❤️💕💋 In Big Love my Ali❤️💛💚

Testament opened up this epic night - and what a fantastic show they delivered for us. Guitars were, unfortunately, a little bit too low in the mix (sitting in circle block 5), however, the performance was absolutely incredible. No low points, a relentless, powerful, mesmerizing show with excellent lighting design and pyrotechnics. This level of a performance would be a hard act to follow for anyone of a lesser caliber than Kreator and Anthrax. For the venue - it would be a good idea to offer tap water / position a drinking fountain because the queues to the bar were very long and - I purchased two bottles for easier drinking - everything has to be poured into pint cups (which makes it difficult if you don't want to drink it all at once)

Teddy absolutely raised the roof. My 4th time seeing him and he didn't disappoint. He was amazing. Great to see him and the band enjoy themselves with lots of old and new fans. We sang and danced all night. Amazing venue too. But the whole night was spoilt seeing so many people turned away because they had unknowingly bought tickets from scammers so couldn't get in. One couple travelled all the way from Germany and had paid 600 pounds for 2 tickets. Thankfully although I was also scammed too I managed to get 2 tickets at the box office for the circle. Should have been in the stalls, but was happy just to get in. Please make people aware of the sites that sell tickets at extortionate prices and then don't always deliver real tickets.

It was almost unbelievable. Here I was up close and personal to Alice Cooper and his band. Worth every penny paying the extra for the front row section seats. Alice and his band put on an amazing show. Lots and lots of favourite tracks played live. I won’t run though the set list but old, not so old and a few newer numbers thrown in. I took some great photos. All the theatrics were thrown in the performance. It was certainly a rare experience to be so close to the stage. This concert will stand out in my memory. I have seen Alice live a good amount of times but this was definitely 💯 the best.

Incredible. From start to end the entire performance was brilliant and despite being row V in seating and therefore far back, I could still see it all. She’s an amazing performer live and the vibe of the entire concert was amazing and consistent. She has what some performers lack, and that’s the engagement with her audience but also the enjoyment of her own concert. However it was disappointing that we absolutely failed the silent challenge but besides that, wholeheartedly enjoyable and recommendable.

Jill Scott did better this time round at the Eventim Apollo than when I saw her perform here last time, at least there wasn't numerous sound checks. Although when she previously performed she had an opening act this time it was a DJ who could've played better songs and got the crowd pumped and jumping while we waited for Jill to come on stage at 9pm, instead the bars at the Eventim more than made their quota of sales. Also this time she missed the opportunity to sell her merchendise but at least that saved me money, while last time I bought her t-shirts. All in all it was a good night, the vibes was good and mellow, the dancers on stage was phenominal and breathtakingly awesome but their performances didn't quite correlate with the songs that Jill was singing but you can't have everything. Even so I'd say it was money well spent only because this time I could actually say that I heard Jill Scott sing and sound live just like I always imagined she would.

So Happy. Daryl Hall was amazing what a voice. Looked so happy and relaxed atmosphere great. Been a fan since 1976, hopefully he’ll be entertaining us for years to come. My husband has been a fan of Todd Rundgren for about the same time...this concert was a match made in heaven. Thank you Daryl, Todd and the brilliant Daryls House Band. See you soon, Great Venue.

This wasn't the bands fault at all but, the venue or promoter VIP ticket holders to be there for 16.30hrs. Which we all did. I think it was 18.45 when we were finally allowed in. We were expecting an acostic performance but the band were really poorly. Instead of having a plan b they just didn't b other. So the VIP consisted of being allowed to stand in front of the stage and ask a handful of questions. Oh, we were also given a landyard. Being registered disabled I wasn't even allowed in to use the toilet. I explained this to security and they weren't interested. I was expected to walk in to Hammersmith and find a public loo. Which, I couldn't do as I had been standing there for hours and could barely walk. The band themselves are true show men. Even feeling like death as Sebastian put it they pulled it off and you wouldn't have known. These guys deserve to be massive. I don't think the word Awesome even covers it!

Absolutely stunning show! These guys know how to get a crowd going and getting them hyped. A big shoutout to security at the Eventim Apollo as well. They had their work cut out for them this time round, but they did a great job handling it all. Also, a big round of applause to Theresa from YONAKA for noticing the people signaling her from the crowd and getting security to deal with the people causing trouble. Massive respect for her. TLDR: Cannot wait for when Palaye Royale comes back to London for the next tour, and cannot wait to find out when YONAKA is playing again!

Palaye Royale have grown exponentially from my first show in 2018 and my god, they just keep getting better. Remington was really sick but still managed to put on an insane show despite feeling like crap. When Palaye Royale are on stage, it’s impossible not to notice how brilliant they are, both as musicians and performers. I screamed, I sobbed, and I loved every second of it. Palaye Royale are really something special and Sebastian, Emerson and Remington work so hard to make sure there is an overwhelming feeling of love and acceptance in their shows. Their music has been an anchor for me, and when I see them live I can’t help but be reminded why I’m still here. I never feel so alive than when I’m at a Palaye Royale show, and this is truly what I live for.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. Only issue was that I had standing originally but when the venue got change I was moved to seats, I ask why I was moved and apparently it’s because they had sold out of ‘standing’ which was not the case because as Friday came along the released to the public a ton of standing tickets! So most of the people who had standing was moved to seats and people who never had tickets before got standing! I felt that the whole situation wasn’t dealt with professionally or fairly! But at the end of the day I had an amazing night! Hopefully I’ll see them at reading and when you guys tour again in the UK! (Considering I was at the back the view was pretty incredible! Not so much on camera but real life 10/10)

I thoroughly enjoyed the band but was surrounded by drunk females bashing into me and my daughter at the back of the stalls. They were also singing very loudly ruining the experience for us. I know they were just enjoying themselves but had no thought for anyone. We were near the bar and people were constantly pushing passed us spilling drinks on us as they fought there way back into the hall. I do t want to be a stick on the mud but serving drink all the way through the gig just created problems for us

Incredible - I’ve been waiting for years to see her perform live and it was worth it. The cancelled trains and four hour trip there and five hour trip home were worth it. An incredibly complicated performance disguised as something simple. Her band of two cellists and a percussionist are top level musicians - somehow managing to play, loop and sample and sing background vocals all at the same time. Visually stunning too with cameras and prisms projecting a kaleidoscope of imagery of the band performing live behind them. Bring on the next album and next tour.

I couldn’t love The Mavericks any more than I already do, so they automatically get two snaps and a circle, but oh, were they on fire at the Apollo Saturday night in London! Before the show started, in honor of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen, they arranged to have “God Save the Queen/King played, and the audience went wild with emotion…everyone stood and sang and cried all at once. It was very appropriate and enthusiastically and gratefully received. The show itself was phenomenal, in true Mavericks fashion, with everyone’s energy high and in tip top form. They played every song the fans wanted to hear, and then some! They just kept going! In the middle of the show, Raul offered a heartfelt moment of reflection and tribute to the late monarch and offered sincere condolences to the mostly UK audience. Not a dry eye in the house. I noticed they sang three songs in a row about the moon…(Blue Moon, Amsterdam Moon, and Harvest Moon)…was it a full moon?!? They played three songs for their encore, and really brought the house down. To top it off, they even stayed on stage for quite a while afterwards,and shook hands with as many enthusiastic fans as they could! I was one of them…so happy to have had the opportunity to meet Mr. Malo in the flesh! I waited two years to fly to London just to see this show, and it was worth every second! I brought a date too…who now can be counted as a brand new Mavericks fan! Thanks to Mr. Malo and his amazing band of fine musicians, for throwing the best party we’ve ever been to!

What is the deal with no phones? Talk about pretentious. What about people who have young kids and need peace of mind that the sitter isn’t trying to reach them? Jack, get off your high horse and relate to the “real” people. It may have been a while. Plus, the venue sucked. No one needs to see any show at First Bank Arena. No one. Ever. Besides that Jack ripped it. Even if I had my phone I wouldn’t have been on it. Worry about putting on a great show- not about me filming you or what ever you don’t want me doing.

There’s a reason why I connected with this band from their very first single. Every single track resonates with different parts of my life. Apologize came out just before my son was born and every track thereafter has punctuated my life milestones. Flawless vocals last night in London Eventim Apollo and they kicked off with Kids, which blew the roof off. The best live vocal I have ever heard and the talent and passion of the entire group was evident. Thank you OneRepublic for making last night another milestone in my life.

The difference between recorded music and live music is the effort of the artist being visible to the audience. Tash Sultana gives her all, is incredibly talented as a musician and performer, seems to enjoy herself and it radiates to us, her audience. That is a self fulfilling loop as the feedback from the audience was electric and the atmosphere incredible. An amazing night, which will remain in the memory for a long time (if not forever)

So much more than simple pop. SIGRIDs songs have an undelying depth . Her personality also shines through against the bland souless competition. And then finally there is this physical presence that i really cannot describe. I cant decide if it is vamp best mate , drinking buddy or cute girl next door. Whatever it is i just love it and those silver trousers omg. Its pure , its raw and its honest
