As ever, Eddi and the band were simply wonderful.
Eddi’s voice , the songs , her sense of humour and engagement with the audience is and has always been the reason why we will continue to see her at every opportunity.
We never tire of her stunning voice and the beautiful songs Eddie has produced since 1991.
What a thoroughly joyous evening

This was a 5 star show! Colin and his band rocked the night and the audience was mesmerized!!
Brilliant singer and songwriter, and charismatic performer and storyteller. Beware — Colin Blunstone will pierce your heart. You’ll never be the same after listening to his effortlessly sexy, divine voice and his kickass band. Blunstone picks the most holy of emotional songs for his shows: what Becomes of the Broken Hearted, Levi Stubb’s Tears, the gorgeous Hung Up on a Dream from the Zombies’ Odessey and Oracle, and Rocks with his original Just out of Reach. Just go listen to him. You will always be happy you did.
I went to see the Pete Roth Trio for Bill Bruford. In this, I suspect I was far from alone. One young fan was wearing the classic Boston Bruins hockey sweater with the "B" logo similar to the one on the cover of Bruford's stellar autobiography; Bruford's name was printed on the back of his sweater. Then there was the group of young friends who had travelled from Norway to Milton Keynes to see him.
Bruford played a basic acoustic kit, teasing out sounds with sticks, palms and fingers. As always, his solos and fills were welcome and inventive, but I think I appreciated the spirit of camaraderie among the three players even more. Because if I went to the show solely for Bruford, I was quickly won over by his colleagues, Pete Roth on guitar and Mike Pratt on bass, and how the three of them meshed together so well. They seemed to truly enjoy each other's company, and I believed Roth when he said they reinvented their songs at each performance.
From interpretations of Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, and Dvorak to original PRT, Roth and Bruford compositions, the trio created many sublime moments through their play, their interplay and what they left unsaid. No spoilers, but they had a knack -- as they say on their website -- of revealing the essence of a jazz standard only in the final moments of performance. They also gave space to the audience to recognize the thematic connections between songs.
Bruford has talked previously about how large venues like MSG are "death". I was expecting The Stables to hold perhaps a few hundred. To my delight, the room held only 80 people! It was an intimate space, giving us the privilege to witness creation up close. I would see them again and again.
A stunning performance of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway with Musical Box & The Knife as encore pieces. You could close your eyes & think you had been transported back in time to the Gabriel era of Genesis. All the band members performed with mind blowing accuracy. A real tribute to the original Genesis. If you get the chance, go see them, you won’t be disappointed.
WELL DONE! The Watch you were monumental.
Excellent show. WalterTrout obviously was enjoying himself and the music was great. He also introduced two musicians, one a youngish British guitarist with a great technique and vocal style, the other, Will Wilde (I think that was his name) a phenomenal harmonica player. All in all, a fabulous concert which I was sorry to leave just before the end, so I could catch the last train back from Woburn Sands station, as I hadn't been able to drive my car.
Simply stunning! The emotion of the evening and musicianship is exactly why I continue to enjoy live music more than ever nowadays.
Emma is always fantastic. I love seeing her play. Emily Faye was a brilliant support act too.
This was the first time I’ve seen this tribute band and I have already booked for next years show.
All of these musicians was simply brilliant.
The smallest in this seven piece line up was particularly impressive.
🎸🎸
Most amazing Tribute Band, they give it 💯 + %. Very dedicated, full of energy, go see for yourself!
For me the choice of songs for this performance was less than ideal. CS said that he wanted to introduce some of his favourite song writers material but most of it was not to my taste.
As always a class act who always surpasses all expectation. Curtis is the ultimate story teller, he takes you on a journey you never want to get off
This is a 'brilliant' band, so talented, long may they continue to play the fabulous tunes of the 'moodies'!
A great venue .... everything about this was excellent!
Well done to all involved in putting on this terrific performance!
Great Venue, great show, Nick was in great form, shame he didn't play "the Beast in me" but hey what he did play was superb, great night out
A fun gig, my first experience of 4th Labyrinth but a good one with lots of good proggy stuff, rock classics, hats, flying (red) hair, German jokes and frock coats. Does it get any better?
2 albums purchased, will certainly be looking to see a longer set from the Labs and hopefully more of those as time goes on.
An honour and privilege to see John Smith again, in a great venue, where the up close and personal performance left me in a state of humbled reflection, a blissful feeling that lasts for days, and the purest memory, one never forgets.
If you have not seen or heard of him, you really should have by now...
Excellent performance, tight band and humour and pathos from Curtis . Really enjoyed it
Brilliant evening at such a lovely venue. Great audience who totally appreciated the eclectic set list, enthusiastically joining in with the backing vocals. Jack always delivers, just ask the many first timers in the audience queuing for cds after the show.
I always love seeing Leo, fantastic performer who always goes down well at The Stables. You make me feel like dancing... And I do every time! :) How much love?? THIS much! (。♡‿♡。)(。♡‿♡。)(。♡‿♡。)
Just a great evening...India Electric Company providing great musicianship to the songsmith Midge Ure *****
