The show was very ORGANIC and INTIMATE! Dale Watson is a TRUE LIVING LEGEND! Dale Watson truly caters to the crowd at his shows.
We had an incredible time at this show!! What an awesome venue too! Love the vintage hotel and the atmosphere was very retro and reminded me of the Shining, in a good way.
And as always, The Black Moods delivered an incredible show. Hands down the best band in Arizona, if not in the USA, and the opening act Znora was very impressive!!
These chicks are true professionals. It seemed like they started out a little slow but soon hit their stride and then it was off to the races. Very cool. They make a wall of groovy sound.
Probably my favorite show ever. The energy was unreal and had a fantastic time, please PLEASE come back to Tucson. Will 100% be there!
Fun show at an intimate club!! The band played with a lot of energy. It amazes me that they never got more recognition!! Fun time!!
It was an amazing show! Pro band, boss backup vocals, and a dance troop! It's awesome to see my friend making her dreams real.
This was the first event we have attended at the Tucson Jazz Festival, and it will not be the last! We started following Emmet Cohen and the Emmet Cohen Trio about 3 years ago during the start of his live streams. When we saw he would be in Arizona, we immediately purchased tickets. The concert was non-stop and high energy. Fabulous musicians in this trio. The concert was outstanding. Cannot say enough good things about them. Highest Recommendation. The venue was nice. We could have gone to see Emmet inside in Mesa, AZ, but we opted to drive to Tucson and do the outdoor venue. We were a bit concerned about outdoors as it had been raining earlier in week, but we bundled up and it was actually sunny and gently warm for a bit. One hiccup: The time on the dice app said doors open at 3:00 but actually the concert started about 3:00 and doors opened about 2:20. We were glad we had gone early.
The wrecks were great as per usual; the only hard part was how small the venue was and to the left side of the stage (performers right) it was hard to see much. The openers were really cool too. In comparison to the nile, it was a much cooler venue! Id come to watch here again, but maybe less tickets available for this particular location.
Outside of that, it was really fun!
The outside speakers sounded pretty meh, but literally everything else sounded great, I had a great time. I enjoyed the crowd participation that vacations brought. Jacky and Tony popped off at the beginning of the opening show. Thank you for making my second concert ever the best. I will never forget
Incredible performance, only negative part of the experience was on the venue. Rare Americans had music videos playing in the background throughout the whole show and interacted with the audience multiple times throughout the show. Will 100% be seeing them again next time i have the opportunity.
Rare Americans has gone above and beyond.
The interaction with crowd was beyond wild.
If you can ever go to there concert it’s worth every cent
I have seen Buck meek twice in the past 12 months and both shows are some of the best I've seen in some years. He's great and his band is on point. Do not miss it!
Turnover and healing potpourri were amazing. Sold out event, fantastic vibe and great energy from the crowd. Come back to Arizona turnover! We love you!
It was a fabulous show. Not only is Wheelwright aka Jared a damn good singer but he's damn good looking too! I strongly suspect he's going to go places and it would be an honor to be able to say I saw him at the very beginning of his ascendancy!
Wow! Blown away by the fucking fantastic energy! Best concert ever! I love everything about Gustaf!
& They are the nicest people -
thanks Tarra, Vram, Lydia, and Tine for signing my ticket! & mostly for taking the time to converse with me after the show!!! You're all wonderful & I wish you the best of luck!
(Sorry I missed you Melissa)
They melted my f***ing face tf off!!! As usual. However this was special. I have seen this band 7 times now. This was magic. Something about being back on stage after lockdowns etc I guess.
Man, what a treat to see this band again. The place was packed and they played the whole Witchdoctor album and all kinds of other great stuff from their other albums. Not a clunker in the bunch. I forgot Dave Slutes is such a terrific smartass and raconteur. It makes for a good front man.
Maybe it's just because I was having such a good time, but they sounded better than ever, even though I caught a few hiccups. At one point a guest musician I didn't recognize - a big dude with a beard, I think - got up on stage to sit in and play steel guitar with them. That was cool - who doesn't like a steel guitar - except I think that out of deference/good manners Rich Hopkins never teed off on that stratospheric never-quite-the-same-but always-friggin-awesome solo he normally does at the end of What She Said. But what the hell, they were having a great time, I was having a great time, and so was the rest of the crowd.
Another fantastic performance by Gabriel Sullivan & his wonderful band! So much talent in one room last night. Loved hearing his new album Black Crow and my copy has been on repeat all day...
lando chill is an amazing performer and artist. he is a super talented rapper but i was most impressed with his vocals- dude can really sing. this was the first rap concert ive been to where i was genuinely moved by what i heard, he has such deep heartfelt messages in his songs and makes a true effort to connect and inspire the audience. not to mention the moments of activism for queer, trans, and people of color peppered in throughout the set. i was truly blown away. thank you for such an intimate performance. 💓
Had the best time. They created a fun atmosphere and were not afraid to interact with each other on stage. it was beautiful and so good live.
