Awesome show! Great mix of older songs & new singles from Basia’s new album. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Basia is a very engaging story teller & keeps the show entertaining between the songs. ;-) I found the song “Disco Polo” very moving & enjoyed hearing Basia sing certain lines in Polish. ;-) Great show overall. Would highly recommend checking out Basia’s live shows if you get a chance.

Absolutely fantastic show. I've been to a lot of live music and love smaller acoustic shows. I knew Rosanne had that pure voice that needed no auto-tune, but didn't realize what an amazing guitar player her husband John Leventhal was. Rarely have I seen such mastery of the strings. The two of them filled the theatre with sound, presence, and just the right amount of story-telling between songs. I'd have listened all night, and would happily see this identical show again.
Kellylee has a wonderful voice and a great band. And I thoroughly enjoyed her jazz randitions of Christmas songs. Her show was a lot of fun, and full of all the right messages.
I had not heard of Sue Foley and sorry for that...more for me then you. Wonderful show and looking forward to next visit. Loved the legends but, no not a but, would of loved more of you. Final number, Hurricane Woman sent us home humming. Found you as my wife of 24 years has been pressuring me lately for date nights. I have resisted valiantly, which is to say I ignored her requests. Then I thought better of that tactic and searched for whats happening around Ottawa. Sue Foley? Blues singer, yes.
Thank you for your performance. Date night was a big hit....Brian
The venue was amazing & I had managed to get tickets 5 rows from the stage!! The music was amazing as usual as Josh is a musical genius! His voice seemed sore (mid-tour no wonder) so he had other band members singing as well as the audience! Seamless! I have always loved Marianas Trench's harmonies & they were impeccable as always! They are the same live as on their albums! Wasn't particularly enamoured with the opening act Lolo (too much teen angst) but great that a Canadian singer were showcased. All in all, for the third time I have seen them in concert I would see them again in a heartbeat!
It was a great concert. Bruce Cockburn still tells amazing stories with his songs, old and new! His guitar playing is electric (even if his guitars are not) and is voice is as rich and strong as ever. A+++ on the value scale!,
The night was fantastic! Never long enough! The venue was a bit hot and arid guy but a nice size for a show like this although I’m sure they could’ve gotten a bigger crowd out! Would go see them again anyday!
Amanda never disappoints, this was my 4th time seeing her! It's been 20 years and I think she is even better! One of the most talented performers ever. So enjoyed the show and seeing her at the NAC showcases her talent that much more than an arena setting. Welcome back Amanda! :-)
Melissa and Luke were in fine form and their set list included a great blend of old and new songs.
Their drummer was also very expertly backing them up.
The mix of songs with just the two of them, with the drummer and with guests on stage was also excellent.
They are really the greatest act around.
These guys are super fantastic. We waited three years to see them as their scheduled concert at the NAC was cancelled due to Covid. We were excited to see them and they did not disappoint!!!!!
One of the best duos you can ever catch live. They are both incredibly talented and I love all of their albums, but it's their charisma, energy and obvious adoration for each other that truly makes the live show something special to be a part of.
I hope that this talented duo eventually returns to the NAC as a headliner because the only issue with their set was that it felt way too short! 😭
A powerful, haunting and uplifting wall of sound from start to finish. 🎸
Love the band and the music but the sound levels were off and you couldn't really hear the vocals. As the show progressed they got Leah's sorted out but Peter was still washed out. I know it's a challenge because of his voice but hey, I've been to other concerts with similar singers and they worked it out so..... bass drum was insanely loud and responsible for a lot of the muddiness. Energy was good as always for these guys and they'll always have a spot in my playlist but no, for the Ottawa show the sound wasn't great.
The band's performance was amazing! Only issue was the vocals were mixed too softly in the mix, so when either Peter or Leah (especially Leah) were singing more softly, they were barely audible. Too bad too, because some of those songs really needed that subtlety.
An amazing show - opening act Joe Botts set the rhythm, and Vance came through with a very generous 1.5h of both older and newer songs that had normally staid Ottawa NAC audience dancing (politely) in the aisles. Great concert!
first half Xmas carrols were good.
second half old songs , selection was good for older people, but not for people under 50 y.o.
Choir was there, but because they were located behind the instruments their voices where not able to be heard
Wonderful concert.
The Band really enjoyed themselves and were relaxed and happy.
First time I have seen them but have many many BARK cd's and by Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson too. It was great seeing Colin Linden and special guests Colin James and Ms. Lightfoot and Ryder. As a grandmother I was happy to see Levon perform on the encore. Good job Levon!
Very intimate venue and concert. It was my first time seeing Raine and Chantal together. It was a very meaningful experience. Loved the atmosphere and it was very special that Rowan Maida opened for them on the beginning of his musical journey. Looking forward to hearing more of his music in the future. Memories I will always cherish. Thank you all for a wonderful evening.
The show was absolutely amazing !!! It sounded as if the cd’s were being played.
Even though the cellist couldn’t be there (I hope she gets better soon), the music was perfect. I couldn’t tell that anything was missing.
Loreena was charming and humourous & literally looked like an Angel. Her hair was glowing in the stage lights!!!
I loved every minute of that show. I LOVE YOUR MUSIC AND YOUR VOICE. You’re all very special & make a whole lot of people happy.
Thank you for what you create & give to the world. It’s such a gift!!! Well done.
Amazing show!!! We have seen Mother Mother in concert several times and by far our best experience!!! Thank you so much for the positive energy, humbleness of the band and being back on tour!
