Lo-volume, melt-your-face funk, with staggering shredding, unreal tone and fluency on the bass, with about as solid a pocket drummer, just laying in the groove, all combined for next-level epicness in a sweet venue like High Noon. Ten outta ten recommend.
Yam Haus brought all the vibes last night! After being off a year they stormed back on stage on Thursday and delivered an amazing performance that left us wanting more! And Bizzy as the opener delivered a great gift of a high energy set that kick off this outstanding night.
As usual, Greg and group delighted, amazed and performed the most outstanding guitar sets combining this time more blues (new album) than his impossible for anyone else to play blend of rock/jazz/you name it/fusion. He was available before and after the show for free signings, smiles and photos, something Joe Bonamassa - possibly an equal - would never attempt. On a cold Sunday night after a Green Bay Packer playoff loss, Greg made the High Nooners of completely music lovers and probably guitar players feel the best possible with incredible skill and personality. If Greg and group get to your area, DO NOT MISS. You'll talk about it for years.

This is a fun annual Black Friday show. We brought some soup for the donation barrels, had some beer, kombucha and root beer and also had a selfie with Andrew Coombs and Michael Gabbidon of the Viceroys!
Great tribute set to all Indigenous people.
Peace!
Wow Wow Wow. I cannot remember a more entertaining concert.
Jason D. Williams opened up, and he was an incredible performer that left most of the audience stunned. Who wants to follow someone that good?
Well, Reverend Horton Heat did not disappoint. I don't think I would say he was better, but was such a different style that we left feeling thoroughly entertained.
It's a "no-brainer." Do not miss going to see Reverend Horton Heat. I'm sure he gets paid for the shows, but I think he would be out there even if he had to perform for free; the band is having a good time.
Grateful for a world class act coming to a historic venue. The High Noon has had everyone from Dick Dale to Vampire Weekend. Saw one of Mr White’s clients Wanda Jackson there. Probably has never been a show there with more energy and intensity than was seen tonight. Unbelievable.
Both bands were absolutely electrifying and magical. Absolutely would see both Boxing Day and Brigitte Calls Me Baby again!!
I've been a fan of BCMB for a few months now and it's always amazing to see a favorite artist so close. Their sound is derivative of many, like the Smiths, New Order, and even some Elvis, but very clearly their own. Their personal style of onstage dress is so unique and fun and makes for great atmosphere. Most importantly, every band member clearly has so much talent and has obviously put in a lot of work. Even if you don't like new wave or genres similar, I recommend seeing BCMB just for the experience of seeing them play so well!
As for Boxing Day, they had so much energy!! This band as well has so much talent; my friend noted how well they played together. The drummer and lead singer especially stood out as absolute powerhouses of music. Also, a trumpet?! Rarely see that in indie bands anymore! Vibe is similar to Car Seat Headrest or Neutral Milk Hotel, but again, definitely their own.
I look forward to see how these two bands grow and find success!
What an incredibly raw, vulnerable, and energetic depiction of songs, old and new! Jenn was so personable, told jokes, stayed after to chat with fans, and calls out old-age fundamentalism for what it is (judgmental) and demonstrates the essential opposite, an open-heart full of love.🥰 I'd go every week if it was an option just to bask in the Jennifer Knapp vibe of strength.
An amazing show at a nice venue. Danielle Nicole band has always put everything into their performance and this show was no different. I will always support them and hope to visit the High Noon Saloon again.
First time at this venue, and it was terrific. First time seeing Slothrust, and it was such a special show. Became a fan of Weakened Friends this night as well. Looking forward to seeing them all again, and I highly recommend the venue.
The show was very good. Jaime was battling some cold like symptoms, but vowed to give a great performance, and I think they accomplished it. The band was very solid, and I will return next time they play in Madison☮️
Cool dudes from the Chicago area. The singer does a real good job at making eye contact with the crowd and makes it feel like he's performing for us good. Fun time!
He is a fantastic performer, singer, guitar player and a natural frontman! Excellent stage presence and his band is phenomenal as well! Very fun show! Saw him open for Marcus King a while back in Nashville! To see him headline was truly a gift! Especially in a nice small venue!
Excellent band! SO much energy, good banter with audience. Couldn't stop dancing. The band plays many genres and moves so well from one to the other, and his original songs KICK.... The room buzzes with happy and dancing. Will be following Adem and his band from now on!
This is the TENTH time I’ve seen them, and began following them in SC. This is a great venue— although the cashless bar is a challenge. But otherwise it was fantastic!!
Great show! Wish I knew all the bands that played. I never wrote them down from this show & have albums of all the bands that played! Millbillies & Ben Majeska.
This was my first live concert since lockdown started and I was delightfully reminded how fun it can be. Thank you, Rubblebucket for doing your thing and creating such beautiful art!
I traveled all the way from Minnesota and it was completely worth it. This band is one of the most genuine bands I’ve seen, their music connects with the soul 💙
It was a fun, laid back night. No structured set list made it feel like we were able to watch a personal jam session. The crowd was small, but most seemed to be there to enjoy the show. I think my favorite part of the night may have been Clint Parks accoustic opening. True talent---they sound so good live....no remixing...just amazing talent.
Always a wonderful, fun band to hear and watch. They genuinely look like they are having a blast playing. We’ve been to numerous shows and always look forward to the next. Just wish they played more often!
